An excellent animated feature, Waking Life, explores these ideas.
As usual, one of the most rewarding cinematic experiences arrived by
recommendation -- I rarely see movies unless someone tells me about
them.I also rarely recommend them, but this is an exception.

The movie has a great trick for checking the waking/dreaming/lucid
state. I will leave it for those who watch to find out. It is the
best method I have found yet.

Minimal further investigation would have revealed to Mr. Perry that the peace
overtures from the NAZIS were a sham, and were an attempt to temporise and
secure the western front as Germany prepared to invade the Soviet Union!
Germany probably had 60% of its military forces deployed to resist a renewed
effort to re-establish an allied presence in western Europe, and if they could
have suceeded in establishing a Neville Chamberlain II agreement, they could
have moved a significant portion of this presence to the eastern front. As it
was, they took a calculated risk that the Allies would not be ready to open an
invasion of Europe for several years and moved their forces anyway. Remember
that at the time, 1940/41, the Royal Air Force fighter command had virtually
decimated the Luftwaffe flying over England (for every plane shot down, if the
crew survived they were taken prisoner) and the Bomber Command was ramping up
its night-time bombing of Germany, and the United States Army Air Corps was
flying B17's and B24's to England to begin daylight bombing over Europe!!
Germany was not dealing from a position of strength!!!

RE: CSheart disease and high blood pressure

2005-03-21 Thread Louise
Yes I heard that in class that they changed the parameters of what they call
high blood pressure

Now there are lots of reasons but mostly this is to make more people fall in
the sick range.

Drug companies are selling less (costing more and making profits) but there
are more people out there looking for alternatives so they now want to catch
people earlier to get them on the drugs to make them dependent on them.

IF the person goes for alternative and changes diet (low carb diet) starts
to relax more and change their attitude (emotional stress) their blood
pressure and cholesterol will go down. Though there is not a real problem
with cholesterol in the diet it is caused by the body trying to heal the
damage done by the high carbs, mostly sugar and grains that release the
sugar quickly.

lowered the readings for high blood pressure. 140 top
number is now classified as in the high range and it

blood pressure meds to people for monetary reasons. I
think that these drugs have some very bad side effects
and I would want to try alternative things first. Is
there a reason why the fda would outlaw Red Yeast if
it helps? Is this for monetary reasons as well?

Subject: CSSilver allergy; silver-resistent bacteria

I have only had one case of genuine silver allergy
reaction from anyone ingesting my CS in the last five
years. A woman who worked for a company that provided
products to 300 HF stores here in Canada asked me to
send her a sample of my CS. When she got it, she drank
a teaspoon. Within hours, her eyes were swollen shut,
her fingers swelled up and they had to cut off her
rings. She was congested and sick, spent a couple days
in bed. She was still suffering a week later.
Needless-to-say, she never ordered any more CS!

On a different note, here is an article of great
interest concerning silver and its affect on bacteria,
silver-resistant bacteria, etc.

http://www.etrs.org/bulletin9_4/section7.html

One comment that interested me concerning ionic
silver's affectiveness:

As a metal, silver is relatively inert and poorly
absorbed by mammalian or bacterial cells. However, in
the presence of wound fluids or other secretions, it
readily ionises and becomes highly reactive in binding
to proteins and cell membranes. The silver ion (Ag+)
is absorbed by the bacterial or yeast cells and is
lethal in sensitive strains. The biocidal effects of
silver are complex, and different organisms respond to
silver to varying extents. Evidence provided from the
development of silver/copper filters in the
sterilization of hospital water systems, suggests that
silver is accumulated preferentially in sensitive
bacterial strains and that concentrations of 105-107
ions per cell are lethal.

Here is another:
More substantive information on the bactericidal
action of silver relates to its accumulation in the
bacterial cells and its opportunity to interact with
the cytosolic proteins, mitochondrial enzymes and
nuclear DNA or RNA synthesis. Substances in the medium
(or in the wound bed) that chelate free silver ion or
precipitate it as an insoluble salt, inhibit
bacteriostasis. Thus sodium chloride (as possibly
found in wound exudates) has been shown to inhibit the
antibacterial action of silver nitrate by
precipitating the silver as insoluble silver chloride.
On the other hand, EDTA or EGTA, have been shown to
enhance the biocidal effect of silver nitrate,
possibly through chelating silver binding substances.

Please notice this one:
Silver resistant strains of bacteria are a continuing
problem in wound care despite many claims in the
literature to the contrary. Accumulating evidence
indicates that the bactericidal activity of silver is
directly related to *the amount of silver* (emphasis
mine) accumulating within the bacterial cell and its
ability to denature or otherwise impair physiological
processes. [Drink alot of CS?]

This is an excellent and objective article containing
very good info.

CSMy Silvergen Machine

2005-03-21 Thread bailar
I hope nobody minds this but I am not using Trem's silver machine. I made
one batch at the beginning (I have lyme) and tho I noticed some effect, it
wasn't strong enough, because some knowledgeable people in the lyme
community are using hte natural immunogenics (expensive!) which was even
just recommended to me by Stephen Levine of AllergyResearchGroup, I am going
to use that instead. One lymie I am in contact with feels significantly
better on the natural immunogenics. It may be with lyme you need the
absolute smallest particle to get into the cells where it hides, I don't
know. Lyme is a situation all unto itself, I think. Therefore, having used
Trem's good machine only once to make silver, I think I ought to sell it. As
everybody knows it costs $199 but I could sell it for $159 or $40 off and
its still bascially new. I hope its okay to post this on this list, I don't
know the exact rules but this is a sincere posting. I just see it sitting
around and maybe somebody wants one and could use a discount. This is NOT an
insult to Trem's machine. I have a difficult case.

Also, do people really feel the bob becker electrical pulser is necessary
also in lyme? For those who have lyme and used it, how often did they use
the electrical pulser, ie every day, and for how long? SInce that gets into
the bloodstream, and lyme mostly hides inside the cells, do they have any
thoughts on how it might have helped? Thanx again.

Also, I should mention though this is off topic, that I use an LED device
that is really quite remarkable. I use it every day. It is from
www.cheeenergy.com. It is handheldand pulses to Nogier frequencies and has
red infrared white and blue, diff. frequencies. It is not curative of lyme
in any way, but it seems to have a nice systemic effect of relaxation and
helps put me to sleep.

her fingers turn red, itchy and bumpy.

You can't go by the color. The ring may be any number of things, sterling
silver is 7% or so copper, and white gold has some gold in it. She needs
to see if she is allergic to pure silver, so she needs to take some 14
guage fine silver wire and wrap it around her finger, or keep a Canadian
Silver Maple Leaf against her skin for a while. I suspect that she is
allergic to copper, not silver.

 But other rings
that are silver, she has no problems with.
Also regarding fluoride, they added it to our water
several years ago and now alot of people(self
included)are drinking bottled water. We really dont
know what is in bottled water either though. Isnt a
form of fluoride in the drug cipro and also prozac?

Good site, Marshall.

All I know is, when I was doing craft fairs and met people selling jewelry
from Mexico that was really cheap, they all said they could give great
prices because what they sold wasn't real silver, and in fact didn't contain
silver at all. They wouldn't have sold their jewelry at a loss, and they
wouldn't have gotten it so cheaply, if it had silver in it.

Which is why I said in a prior email that what's important is the contents
of the metal, not simply what it's called. Apparently the jewelers I met
didn't read the above website ;-)

Re: CSCell Phone CONSIDERATIONS:OT.

2005-03-21 Thread Nenah Sylver
Mike, please excuse me for continuing this OT thread, but I could really use
some advice from the smart people on this list regarding phones. For several
weeks, my partner and I have been searching for a decent corded phone that
has a headphone jack that you can actually hear through -- and through which
others can hear you. After going through four pairs of headphones with my
corded phone, one or both people still sound as though they are talking from
a muffled garbage can.

Some cordless phones that have headphone jacks provide good clarity and
volume for both caller and callee. This is probably because cordless phones
are amplified in the body of the phone and corded phones are not amplified.
But I don't want to use a cordless phone.

What are my options here? Would a headphone with an amplifier (which is
pretty pricey) work? Is there something else I haven't yet considered?

I need headphones for my work, so *not* using a headphone isn't an option.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Nenah

CSwhere to get DMSO

2005-03-21 Thread betty shelly
Sol, my container of MSM from the feed store says the only ingredient is MSM
(no fillers or other compounds which are found in capsules and tablets). The
DMSO is 99% pure which may or may not be the same quality as one can purchase
at the health food stores. Have used both for a couple of years when I found
out I could get so much more for my money at the feed store. The MSM dissolves
very quickly in water and when a capsule is opened and poured into a glass of
water, it never completely dissolves. This is certainly not scientific
evidence, just anecdotal.

Re: CSwhere to get DMSO

2005-03-21 Thread sol
Capsuled of MSM usually has fillers, so will have undissolved junk, and
isn't good to make nebulizing solutions, nose drops or things like
that. I have been using the Opti-MSM because it is from U.S. made
ingredients, it is flakes and doesn't dissolve quite as fast as the
lignisul msm, but I prefer it, even though it costs a little more, it
isn't a huge price difference.
The DMSO I use is also veterinary grade 99% pure. When I really need the
low odor, I use Dusa 60 from www.jacoblab.com. However, it is only for
topical use, so for oral I use the veterinary DMSO, and take a
chlorophyll tablet or two. The price difference between the vet grade
DMSO and the jacoblab Dusa 60 is significant.

If you do a google you will find that some of the newer chemotherapies
use platimum based drugs for the chemo. This seems to support what I
have heard about platimum colloids being a good cancer treatment. There
is one testimonial at http://colloidforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=298
about using a platimum colloid for liver cancer. I have heard of other
successes as well with platimum and cancers of the bladder, brain and

think there is an easy method to make platimum colloids like there is
for silver. If I can find anything else out about it I will post back

Also, do people really feel the bob becker electrical pulser is necessary
 also in lyme?

From the experiences of others, it seems to depend on how advanced the lyme is.
It seems that EIS or CS alone may be all that is needed if treated early, but
once it gets into the lymph, nervous system, cartlidges and brain, the other
protocols may well be needed. My sister did not recover fully until she did the
magnetic pulsing, but reported to me about an 80% improvement with only CS/EIS.

For those who have lyme and used it, how often did they use
the electrical pulser, ie every day, and for how long? SInce that gets into
the bloodstream, and lyme mostly hides inside the cells, do they have any
thoughts on how it might have helped? Thanx again.

The magnetic pulsar is reported to be primarily for getting to those in the
lymph system. The pulsing is done daily for 16 or so pulses on each nymph node
if I recall the instructions correctly.

Once again, I am not a doctor but simply reporting what others have told me, my
own experiences, and what I have read elsewhere.

Marshall

Also, I should mention though this is off topic, that I use an LED device
that is really quite remarkable. I use it every day. It is from
www.cheeenergy.com. It is handheldand pulses to Nogier frequencies and has
red infrared white and blue, diff. frequencies. It is not curative of lyme
in any way, but it seems to have a nice systemic effect of relaxation and
 helps put me to sleep.

If you do a google you will find that some of the newer chemotherapies use
platimum based drugs for the chemo. This seems to support what I have heard
about platimum colloids being a good cancer treatment. There is one
testimonial at http://colloidforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=298 about using a
platimum colloid for liver cancer. I have heard of other successes as well with
platimum and cancers of the bladder, brain and bone, but have no first hand
experiences with it. Unfortunately I don't think there is an easy method to
make platimum colloids like there is for silver. If I can find anything else
out about it I will post back again.
As always, I am not a doctor, but simply a seeker trying to help.

Re: CSMexican silver mystery

2005-03-21 Thread Albert Peirce
I have addressed this subject before, but the gist of it is that the 750 (or
.750) applies to 18 karat gold (18/24 equals 75%,ergo .750). The 925 (OR .9250)
indicates the Government of Mexico's official approval of the assay value of
the silver at 925/1000,or .925 pure silver, and .075 of allowing constituents
(There is no karat designation for silver purity, to my knowledge). I believe
you can trust Mexican Silver! Indonesia makes Banka Tin silver (constituents
unknown) , and of course Germany makes GERMAN SILVER which consists of an alloy
of nickel and copper! Sterling silver is a new kettle of fish! Apparently, it
is also 925 fine. The Europeans also made some peices of 800 fine silver.

Re: CSRE: Homeopathic CS

2005-03-21 Thread sol

Interesting thought. There are already several homeopathic silver remedies:

Argentum Cyanatum (silver cyanide)
Argentum Iodatum (iodide of silver)
Argentum Metallicum (silver leaf and precipitated silver)
Argentum Nitricum (nitrate of silver)

You could look them up in the Boericke Materia Medica online, or the
Kent MM online, etc to see if they are anything like what you would be
aiming for by making a homeopathic CS. I just don't quite see what you
would be aiming for? Since silver has been used homeopathically for a
very long time, with provings already done? The link to the Boericke MM
was just given, do you have the link to the Kent? I have one or two
other MM links if you would like them, I haven't looked up any of the
silver remedies in them. I usually go to Boericke first, then to Clarke,
for more detail if needed.

Do me a favor, don't judge or blame. It is not a healing approach. You can do
better than the tone of some of your posts. I consider myself a good judge of
what works for me or doesn't. You know none of the details of my life. No, I
DON'T EXPECT MIRACLES, to quote back to somebody. What I do expect is respect,
kindness and even curiosity to see how I do on a form of silver that has
