hello my name is Nathan, i use home made ionic collloidal silver regularly and have done for 5-6 years now i love it and always find it speeds my recovery by a phenominal rate i have recomended it to my family and some close friends, hesitantly. Which has proven to be beneficial to them also. i believe that i have a fairly good understanding about how it works. but what i really dont understand is why there seems to be no available lab test results or definitive studies that have been undertaken to prove (or disprove) even the most basic benfits involved with its use, that i can find or maybe i am just not looking in the right places. Please let me know if you know of any. the medical profession seems to have its head under a rock when it comes to the use of cs always giving the standard reply that it can cause argyria. which as far as i can tell is only associated with silver salts like silver nitrate and silver chloride. Maybe i am miss informed but to me these things seem to be arguements that could be laid to rest once and for all with some simple testing. It escapes me how the issue of wether or not cs works or if it has any side effects has never really been outlined in any official report. may be i am wrong in what i am writing but i am looking for some good answers about cs some facts some proof by someone that has 'credit' among the medical profession. i have all the proof i need to use it for my self daily but it just seems such a waste that i cant tell my neighbours ' here are the facts about cs.' instead i have to say 'well here is what somebody said is true about cs it may or may not be true youll just have to try it and see.' What a cop out, in a world that deals in nanotechnology and rocket science, gene manipulation and world wide cyber comunication, you wouldnt think it would be too hard to get some straight answers about what cs does or doesn't do. In my mind the benefits are astounding and maybe thats what they are afraid of, that it might replace some of the reliance we have on the beat up fanfare that the mecical establishment is today. roll up roll up come and get your drugs, but you cant stay here because we have no beds because everybodies sick, and getting sicker. oh and by the way watch out for the next superbug virus as you go out the door, because we cant treat that yet but as soon as we can, and we have patented the vacine, we will put it on your list of crap to take. at a small fee of course. have a nice day. wouldnt it be nice if they used cs in hospitals even if it was just used as a topical application on patients with cuts, burns, wounds, or infected tissue, or for those recovering after surgery to reduce scarring. it would have to speed up some patients recovery by days if not weeks in some cases. freeing up some of that valuable bed space. i wonder what they would do if you tried to apply it to a patient in a hospital ward probable throw you out, say its not proven to work, i dont know. anyway i am tired of ranting. seriously if anyone knows of some serious data either for or against the use of cs please point me in the right direction so i dont have anything to rave about anymore thanks ps sorry about taking up too much of your time. the search goes on -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Zeb, He did tons of stuff! If your neighbor is doing chemo, if he doesn't do some of the natural he could end up with lung, heart damage or worse. One of the things my husband got and I had to beg for it was Low Dose Naltrexone (prescription from one of those formulary pharmacies) I can get you the info if he is interested. He did the Essiac tea every day, 2 or 3 times a day. I got the ingredients from www.mountainroseherbs.com. (organic) I can send you the recipe if he's interested. It is a pain to make but well worth the effort. Then he took at lot of supplements. To protect the heart you must take CoQ10.-100mg or more with some fish or flax oil (2 or 3 caps) natural vitamin E (d instead of dl or it's synthetic and do get the mixed) vitamin C with bioflavonoid (lots), selenium, enzymes Get a copy of Beating Cancer with Nutrition by Patrick Quillin and it will explain what to take and why. The supplements protect you from the damage of the chemo and also increase the cancer kill rate. The nurses at the hospital will tell your neighbor NOT to take any supplements and may convince him that it will interfere with the chemo. That is why it is important to get the book. Otherwise his heart muscle and lungs will get damaged and the chemo will not get it all either. Then they will want to give him radiation and after that a bone marrow transplant. Hodgkin's is caused by a virus so take CS. My husband took a lot of Kyolic garlic also. Other stuff too. Anti-virals. There are so many new thing out there now that fight Cancer. I want to thank everyone for their responses. Yesterday Gary took the Targretin with breakfast and waited to take the niacin after lunch and he did fine and no flush with either the lunch or dinner dose of niacin. I thought I would repeat my original question so it is not lost, as I am still looking for the answers. Here it is again - thanks all: I'm being told that silver needs to be ingested apart from stuff like salt, vit C, etc. I know you need pure water to make the silver so it doesn't bond with these things, but do you need to keep it apart from food and vits when you eat for the same reason? I've read it's best to take it on an empty stomach, but thought that was because it would be more effective, not because it was bonding with other substances. I take ozone water first thing in the AM on an empty stomach, and then eat frequent small meals and many supplements throughout the day, so it's pretty impossible to find a time with an empty stomach. Also, does anyone know if silver will kill babesia which is a single cell parasite in the family of malaria? Yes, CS/EIS works well against MRSA. Was used effectively on a diabetic with a kidney transplant (immune suppressed). Can use orally and topically. Definitely use topically if the infection is accessible. Keep it wet with CS pretty much constantly. DMSO 10 to 20% of total volume may be added to help the CS to penetrate if necessary. If using orally, ease into use slowly. I agree the colloidal portion should not be affected. The ionic portion is not a problem with most things, for instance if it combines with acetic acid (vinegar) , you get silver acetate, citric acid - silver citrate, vitamin C - silver ascorbate and so forth. Virtually all compounds of silver become silver chloride when the reach the stomach, which we already know gets absorbed over time into the blood stream and believe convirts to particles. Any problems will most likely be if you take it with something with free sulfur compounds, like boiled eggs. They will bind with silver ions and produce silver sulfide, the same thing as tarnish on silverware. That unfortunately bind stronger than chlorine, and thus will be uneffected by the stomach acid, and is also totally insolable. So I would avoid mixing with foods that are high in sulfur. CSI'm back from my dental revision...
Hello everyone, I'm back from Colorado where I had 11 amalgams replaced, plus 3 wisdom tooth agenesis sites cleaned out. It was pretty tiring, fitting in everything that had to happen, while simultaneously trying to sleep on one of the worst beds we've ever had in a hotel. sigh That said, the Huggins' people and the dentists and their staff did a superior job of keeping everything going and on schedule. I've had no Eureka! moments post revision, but my jaw is settling down reasonably well and I'm satisfied with the quality of the dentistry. Rosie was impressed with the individually tailored supplementation based on blood chemistry. We had a couple of very nice consultations with Dr. Huggins. It was helpful that Rose has similar training and I can at least keep up with what they're saying. So we were able to discuss things with him at a slightly more technical level than most people are able to. Rosie's comment was that Huggins is solid on the things she knew anything about, and that his more speculative theories are at least as likely as anything else she's heard of. High praise indeed, from my in- house skeptic and reality check. grin We also had the chance to meet one of our members, Wendy, who was there for her dental revision with her husband and lovely children. What lies ahead: Continue taking the suggested supplements and do follow up blood, urine and hair analyses at 3 and/or 6 months out; do cleanses of various sorts -- baths, saunas, C-flushes; wait and see how I feel as things normalize and stabilize. I kept a fairly close eye on the list while on the road, thanks to Rosie's new laptop and the availability of broadband internet at nearly every hotel in the country these days. I missed a batch of messages early last week because the kids left my e- mail program open here for a few extra hours, which downloaded a bunch of messages before I could see them on the mail server from the web interface I was trying to use. Okay, I need some help from the assembled wise ones. CMO: What does it actually do? What does it effect in the body? By what mechanism? What effect does it have on blood counts and chemistry? I have mostly anecdotes and some Russian clinical studies on the Transfer Factor Enhanced, which has since been improved; mostly clinical work on the cold-processed whey as a glutathione increaser used on cancer; mostly anecdotal on the Beck therapy -- lots of anecdotes though, just like for silver. I agree with Paul. My wife has cured bronchitis twice with this same product. Tried colloidal silver for it, and it could not cure her bronchitis, even with the gatorade added. However, I was able to fit about 35 drops of GSE per capsule. I recommended this to a person once for sinus issues and she had a bad allergic reaction, so I suggest trying out a couple of small sample doses first to make sure you dont have any allergic reaction to GSE. My wife also broke out in bad hives when she had 3 pills at once instead of spread throughout the day, and I had to give her benadryl to calm the hives down.
