just got the 5000 i.u. from Vitacost. FWIW, I believe I also saw another
brand of lanolin sourced D3 but I don't recall what brand. May be
mis-remembering, LOL.
Just in case it might be of use, another product I have used for
years is Nature's Plus Vitamin AD water dispersable. This is the dry
vit A palmitate with ergocalciferol (D2). I still take this one, and add
the non-fish D3 to it.

I do fine iwth misting from a small spray bottle, it has kept me from

I believe it works by completely digesting food so that no undigested protein
crosses into the blood stream, which is the cause of a lot of allergies. As
around 80% of the immune system is in the gut I suppose this makes sense. I
have read that leaky gut syndrome is one of the major causes of allergies.
Also proteolytic enzymes taken on an empty stomach go round the system
digesting proteins which antigens have surrounded themselves with to fool the
system into thinking they are 'normal'. dee

CS[Fwd: [LDN_RaisingAwarenessUK] Scottish Parliament petition

2009-11-14 Thread Garnet
An LDN support group in Scotland is petitioning their

===

Folks, there’s 521 signatures as of today for the Scottish
Parliament
petition. The deadline is 20^th November and if we could
get another
couple of hundred that would be great. The advantage to
signing the SP
petition is that anyone in the world can sign ie global
petition. It’s
only been up for 3 weeks and Bob Thomson’s MP recommended a
one month
only petition. As we all know, petitions are a way of
raising a flag to
put pressure on our local governments so can you please sign
this,

wherever you are in the world, it only takes 2 minutes

You can also add discussion comments if you wish – very
helpful indeed.

Everyone’s input and support is greatly appreciated.

Hi Sol,

I've read that Vit C is an anti-histamine. Do you go along with that?

I'm not particularly allergic so can't really judge for myself.

OK,
Tony

Has anyone attached a hose to the Medisana humidifier? I checked their site and
don't see any attaching hose listed. I tried to attach a CPAP flexible hose
but, it didnt work very good. Duct tape even would not hold it on.

CSQuestion

2009-11-14 Thread Annie
I live in Europe and I've found two places for distilled water, one is at
the drug store but it's very expensive, something like 10.00 for a liter and
I've also found it at the gas station but it says on the label that it's not
sterile and not for drinking. Can someone please explain what the difference
would be in the two?

From the earlier message:

http://grassrootshealth.net/ is a very good site for Vit D info.  This
video in particular is fantastic:
http://www.ucsd.tv/search-details.aspx?showID=16940.  It’s 30 minutes
long, but worth every second to watch it.

You can make your own sodium ascorbate: this recipe is from Gerard F. Judd
http://www.geocities.com/missionstmichael/Dental2.html

TAKING VITAMIN C (ASCORBIC ACID) (1 tsp) with Arm and Hammer baking
soda (1/2 tsp) in 1 inch of water, letting it fizz and then diluting
to 1/2 to 1 cup with water, then drinking. The resulting SODIUM
ASCORBATE is non-acid, very pure and a thousand times more soluble
than vitamin C.

 I take several 3oz bottles on board in my briefcase. 1 w/ a cap, 1 w/ a
sprayer (eyes, ears, mouth, lungs) and 1 with a nose sprayer. Covers my
trips fine. Never had a problem with security. I also check a bigger
bottle to refill for the return trip.
