distilled water only.  Coins only in the water.  I clean thinks up with white
distilled vinegar.  I make about 22 oz at a time.  In 12 hours the hanna primo

Christopher Scipio's objections seem to fall into the following
arguments:

* Only pharmaceutical grade DMSO (USP) which is 99.9 pure is safe for
use with humans
* Industrial and veternarian grade DMSO which is only 99% pure is impure
and unsafe to use
* There are no studies showing DMSO is effective against herpes
* It is dangerous because the solvent properties of DMSO allows
contaminants to be absorbed through the skin and transported into the
bloodstream.
*On exposure to air it forms a very high and toxic level of peroxides.

Personally, I find nothing alarming in his arguments. Yes, you need to
take care when using DMSO to not contaminate the DMSO or the skin where
the DMSO is applied. Ok, so be careful. I found nothing online regarding
the formation of very high and toxic level of peroxides. Actually, I
often combine DMSO with hydrogen peroxide so I guess that would not
bother me.

Seems alarmist to me but each to his own.

EC3 $30 [free shipping]

One experience of mine shows why you need a meter.

I have always used a meter to measure the strength of my CS right after making it.
It normally reads between 9 and 12, which is an approximation of the PPM of the solution.
Although the actual ppm may be a bit different, I assume it is not hugely different. The important thing is the consistency of the meter from one batch to the next. I know that each of my batches is similar to all the others that I have made.
One day I made a quart mason jar of CS from a new gallon of distilled water, and did my routine measurement after it was made.
I was not expecting anything different as the CS was clear and did not show any cloudiness or anything.
I woke up in a hurry when the meter jumped to 200 plus.
Whoa, what is this? I measure it again. Still in excess of 200.
I then poured water from the new gallon jug and measured that. Also in excess of 200.
The water was bad.
Why did my SG6 not refuse to makeCS from this as it is supposed to?
I don't know. It looked like it went through its normal process, although I was not really paying attention at the time.
Anyway, the meter showed that this jug of the distilled water I always buy (Poland Springs) was bad.
That had never happened before and has not happened again since.
And that is why you need a meter and should always measure each batch that you make.

Re: CSScientists find why sunshine vitamin D is crucial

2010-03-09 Thread Marshall Dudley
That is a tough one. Excessive sun can lead to chromosome damage which
can plant the seeds for skin cancer. Lack of Vitamin D is the fertilizer
that will allow them to multiply later. So it is likely that the
biggest problem would be excessive sun, followed later by lack of sun.
At least for me, I think that the sunscreen with vitamin D3
supplementation both when exposed to sun and when not is the best way to
go. I know people who spent a lot of time in the sun and when young
looked oh so nice with the brown tan, but now, 20 years later look 30 to
40 years older than they really are.

The researchers found that immune systems' killer cells, known as T

unaware
of the possibility of threat from an infection or pathogen if
vitamin D
is lacking in the blood.

When a T cell is exposed to a foreign pathogen, it extends a
signaling
device or 'antenna' known as a vitamin D receptor, with which it
searches for vitamin D, said Carsten Geisler of Copenhagen
University's
department of international health, immunology and microbiology,
who led
the study.

This means the T cell must have vitamin D or activation of the cell
will cease. If the T cells cannot find enough vitamin D in the blood,
they won't even begin to mobilize.

  Hello,

I'm looking for any thoughts on meters to check the ppm. Someone told me you
needed the Hanna PWT that costs about $60. I found a Hanna Primo for half
that. The fellow that told me about the PWT says he checked the Primo and it
wasn't accurate. I contacted the company that sold it to me and they said it
basiclly has the same component inside as the Hanna PWT. I would like to be
able to be fairly certain what ppm I'm making. Any comments on this is
appreciated.

Not by consuming, but yes, it can from direct application. I have heard
of it developing in only an hour when silver nitrate is spilled on the

Re: CSnew source of Liposomal vitamin C

2010-03-09 Thread Ole Alstrup
I have read the existing scientific research on Liposomal C. from Hickey et al.
The higher blood values comparable to IV use are only achieved with multiple
higher oral dosages, at 5gr or above. I have not been able to substantiate the
98% absorption claim for lower dosages vs regular ascorbic acid/ascorbates, I
believe it is an artificial deduction, one researcher measured the same blood
values from 12grs of Ascorbic Acid vs 6grs of liposomal C. The question is also
if the original commercial product (LivOn Labs) is made with whole lecithin or
only certain phospholipid components of lecithin, this is still unclear. The
Donasbach product seems to be made with several components, not the same as
Livon. Also the question is if there is a special method of chelating the
sodium ascorbate with the liposomal carrier. There is also the consideration of
ingesting too much, perhaps toxic levels, of phospholipids with liposomal
products. One relevant example is
the high amount of phosphorus which can have a negative effect on calcium
levels/absorption in the body.

bad at all, but I don't think the dollar is that low at the moment. I think if
it is $145 then this is £97 in our money, so you would have to add on VAT to

From all her posts on the subject, I don't remember any mention of it

My understanding of her posts is that the dog simply got the CS orally,

Hi, Tel

I am kind of new for making homemade CS.  brought silver bullet from utopia,
It included TDS meter.  I have tested my homemade distill water at 0.02 and CS
at 0.12. I pulled CS to amber jar.  over time the ppm increased a little to
0.14.  For curiosity, I tested tap water(live in S.F.), it was 0. 96.  Brita
was 0.51. Could you tell me what does it mean?  Contaminations in the water?
Quite a few of my friends just drink directly from tap water. So 0.96 is not
bad to drink or cook with, right?

Overtime, my TDS does not measure accurately.  I think it needs to replace
batteries.  My question is what different hanna tester from TDS meter.  Does it
also need to change battries often?  I need to buy one if hanna is the one we
need to measure CS. Thanks.   Helen

from the farmer. When I asked him what the deal was, why we never really got
any decent squash, he told us he had to buy new seeds every year. I hadn't

Re: CS Mushy raw veggies for my dog

2010-03-09 Thread Golden Aldi
Well there are plenty of things you can mix into the veggie mixture to make
it smell more appetizing, like an oil... either coconut, olive, flax,
salmon... make sure its an oil that is healthy. Don't use processed oils,
but oils that have been cold pressed.

The veggies I make are also very mushy. Its easier on their palate, and when
its all mixed up with the DE and the Algae and the MSM and the raw meat,
their mouths are already dripping with drool :-)

You could also add sour milk you may have in the fridge, or some cottage
cheese, or joghurt... they also love that! Or an egg, with the shell...
which mixes well in the food processor. I also hardly ever throw out things
that have gone bad, like cold cuts, or cheese. They don't mind a little bit
of green mold which can be wiped off. Some people will throw out food
wastefully, instead of feeding what's still good to the dogs. Especially
meat... I've had chicken that spoiled, cause I didn't get around to
preparing it for us. It happens sometimes..., I just cut it up, and throw it
to the dogs. They have never gotten sick. Of course I would never give it to
them if it were totally gross, and green with mold, or full of maggots,
although I bet you, that if they were strays, and found something like that
in some garbage bin, they would probably gulf it down in 2 seconds. Yuck!

I didn't want to gross anyone out.

2010-03-09 Thread Scott Adams
We have a DP100 unit and my wife has used it since last November. She rates
it as 9! Here is some info I captured about a month ago on some friends
locally who are also using a DP100.

Note all my friends below are still telling me only positive things as does
my wife.

Scott

/29/09 Update:
We have purchased a DP100 rife style electronic healing device and my wife
is treating herself with it. The log for this will be in the dp100_log.txt
file

01/26/10 Part I
I just emailed my wife to get her impressions of the Dp100. (0-10 scale) and
she puts it at 9. She felt it helped her feet where nothing had helped for
the last 2 years there.

What I do know is that she is doing so much better this year than in the
previous years. In the past her protocol was primarily salt/c and some
herbals.

She switched to CS and C last spring and noticed a good improvement as she
was certainly more consistent in using it over Salt and there were less GI
problems and migraines. She also takes Vitamin D3 and uses tanning beds.

Then October 2009 we bought the Dp100 and she has been using it. (log
enclosed) Except the first few weeks earlier of this month when she got out
of the habit (vacation and vacation prep and lot of home construction going
on) and she had a bad relapse for a few days. She is back on it again and
feeling great. She also went skiing this winter for the first time in years
so that was good.

I can also report we have a couple of local friends who are sharing the
unit.

The following is simply anecdotal and what I understand they have told me. I
may be reporting some of the facts wrong or they might not be telling me the
truth. Please don't take it as proven facts or advice.

I do want to share though what I think I have learned from them. I am /ccing
one of them to see if I got my facts right or not. If they reply I will
update.

One set of friends is a mother and her son. The son has confirmed Lyme and
its been very bad. He had surgery at once point. When hearing what he was
going through we recommended a lyme test. The WB came back positive.

For some time he was been under treatment by Dr Jones. He would do well for
a while and then have problems again. He had relapses and they kept putting
him on more antibiotics and his gut was a mess as you might imagine due to
the antibiotics.

About a month ago his mother and he started using the DP100 and taking CS
and using our hot tub at 104F for long soaks (they have since gotten their
own hot tub)

He has been totally off antibiotics and has not had a relapse since starting
with the DP100. I believe she suspects she might also have Lyme but not
sure. But she also uses the DP100. I believe she thinks what they are doing
are helping them both. Again I am /ccing her for confirmation.

We have two other friends using the machine and one of them is also treating
her dog. One has had confirmed lyme for years and feels the protocol is
working for her as she tells me. The other though has just started so we
don't know much yet.

01/26/10 Part II

Minor update to what I wrote from my friend...

Well, not sure what you want to know. Regarding facts has been
hospitalized because he could not walk and another friend here in town that
has Lyme disease actually recommended we test him and then we had also
contacted Roxanne. However, I suspect the hospital had planned on testing
him. I am cautiously hopeful. S. has not relapsed since we have been on
the rife, but again, we try not to get our hopes up.

Dee,

You can dilute it into a 3% solution and use it to disinfect your bathroom,
use it for countertops in the kitchen... Use it instead of bleach when you
do whites...

You can even use the 3% dilution to water your plants with... they're
suppose to flourish! I haven't tried it out yet, but plan to. If you mix the
solution with a bit of sugar, it can be used as an insecticide. I'm going to
try that one out on some leaf parasites.

Don't you have a humidifier? Add some of that 35% to the water! It cleans
the air.
Just make sure it doesn't spill onto your hands. Wear rubber gloves, and
you're good to go... and make sure it doesn't splash, cause its like
bleach... it will turn colors white!

I would love to take it off your hands, Dee, but I don't think it'll pass
customs. Don't be afraid to use it. You'll see how easy it is, just as long
as you take the precautions I mentioned. It will produce burn blisters, if
you get it on your skin, so keep it away from your eyes, and away from your
little ones and pets.

Once you discover the uses, you'll probably go out and buy more! I did!

special method of chelating the sodium ascorbate with the liposomal carrier.
There is also the consideration of ingesting too much, perhaps toxic levels,
of phospholipids with liposomal products. One relevant example is the high
amount of phosphorus which can have a negative effect on calcium

Hi There Helen - when you say S.F. are you referring to Santa Fe - if
so the water in New Mexico is very heavy in minerals which is not good
for making EIS - so get some distilled water from the supermarket
make sure you purchase only one bottle at a time, so you can test each
as you take them home and see which works out to have the lowest
reading on your meter - I cannot remember which Brand I found the best
when I lived there, and even so they have probably all changed since I
left.
Just keep on trying until you find the Brand water with the lowest
reading - there is no filter that I know of which can take all the
properties whether they be man made or God made out of water to make
the best EIS.

Take good care and all the best

I make mine per Jim Meissner's instructions.  I use one 9V battery with a
10K ohm reisistor.   I use two .999 silver boullion coins (alligator
clips) and distilled water only.  Coins only in the water.  I clean thinks
up with white distilled vinegar.  I make about 22 oz at a time.  In 12
hours the hanna primo meter usually reads about 7ppm.

Are you using one of the regular machines on the market or a 'home made

Does the device have constant current control? and

 Are you using distilled water?

Re: CSanother question

2010-03-09 Thread Golden Aldi
Hi Lisa!

I've just discovered hydrogen peroxide just recently, so I haven't been able
to gather much experience with it yet, but I can suggest either checking
your library, or bookstore for the above mentioned book, as its one that I'm
reading at the moment, in between some other books regarding health.

After you've done a bit of research and reading, which everyone needs to to
on their own, its part of the learning process, as I am far from being any
kind of expert, since, as mentioned above, I am totally new to this myself,
and have not gathered much experience :-)
But I CAN tell you w hat I have already read/learned, like some of the
things we can do is bathe in it! Diluted, of course, cause remember, it will
give you burn blister. In the book they say 6 oz. of 35% HP, with some
baking soda and sea salt, half a cup each, to half a tub of water. Its
actually described as a detoxifying bath. One person describes it as a
tingling sensation. Someone else said a bunch of green gunk swam to the
water surface. Guess it came from him!

If you're seriously interested, then you should find a doctor, and there's a
list of a few mentioned in the back of his book, that would administer a
highly diluted solution intravenously. But in another book I read that the
author emphasizes that one needs to continue with the therapy for a while,
especially after one thinks they don't need it any longer, but that
pertained to seriously ill patients in Africa.

The other book I'm reading is entitled: Hydrogen Peroxide... Medical
Miracle, by Dr. William Campbell Douglass. The Flood Your Body With Oxygen
is by Ed McCabe. And the third book I'm reading is entitled: The Truth About
Migraines to Multiple Sclerosis and more. What your doctor isn't telling
you, but Science has proven. It's a brand new book that has come out, and
explains in detail, with plenty of references to back things up. My eyesight
isn't so great, so I don't read as much as I'd like to, and I'm hoping that
maybe I can somehow miraculously heal this even, as I'm just near-sighted,
and since a few years, need reading glasses, but I've heard that even that
can be fixed, due to possible causes like yeast infestation, or some
deficiency. I really do believe WE are capable of healing ourselves, or at
least HELP our bodies heal themselves.

Who really needs some of these doctors trained and schooled by the pharma
industries when we are perfectly capable of helping ourselves, but only to
those who are willing to take the time to educate themselves, and find other
people passionate in learning and mentoring, AND sharing their own personal
experiences.

I did!

Lisa, did I mention that I add about 80 milliliters of 30% HP to about 4.5
liters of water to oxygenate the air?

Oh, I forgot to mention... Ed McCabe's book seems to have quite a few pages
dedicated to promoting some oxygen products, but I'm not sure how good the
products are, or even if they do anything, other than cost the consumer
money...

I'm also not sure of consuming it either. I'd love to find a group of HP
users who have taken it orally. What I'd like to try is the I.V. I read how
the oxygen was slowly killing all pathogens, and other, turning the dirty,
filthy blood back to its normal reddish color. Apparently, our blood is so
polluted, that it would take quite a few sessions of I.V.s to successfully
clean our whole system. Just imagine... feeling like newly born!

Like I said, I'm just discovering this myself, and its all new to me. I need
more info, and time for it to sink in.
The other thing is ozone therapy, which I have not figured out at all yet.
Oh, did you know you can buy cans of oxygen to breathe? When I find the link
again, I'll send it, but it will be in german. I think they have something
like it in the States, or it might even be in thta guy's book, since he's
promoting all kinds of oxygenating items, like oxygenated water as well.

Sorry for writing so much. Much have had too much coffee today. Its already

Re: CSSilver Meter

2010-03-09 Thread poast
Hello Gary,

Until someone comes up with the relationship between conductivity and PPM of
silver, it is all a ballpark best guess.

However, the meter has a lot of other uses beside trying to guess at the
concentration of EIS.

If you purchase distilled water, how do you know it is of high quality?

If you distill your own water, how do you know its quality?

When you rinse out your jar and are ready to brew a batch, how do you know
there is no contamination in the jar?

If you bottle your EIS, how do you know the bottles you use don't add extra
things to your EIS?

How stable are the ions in your EIS over time?

All of these questions can be addressed with a meter. The most important one
is the purity of the water followed by the purity of the jar you are making
your EIS in.

I am on a crusade when it comes to vitamin D.

I am asking everyone to check and know what their blood levels of vitamin D
are. Once you know where you stand, then you can visit
www.vitamindcouncil.org and figure out where you should be.

To check the blood levels of vitamin D, you need to have blood drawn and
then ask your doctor to run the test for vitamin D. Vitamin D effects so
many functions in the body that having an adequate amount directly
influences your quality of life.

This is an action item! Get off of your duff and have it checked... :)

2010-03-09 Thread M. G. Devour
Hi folks,

I'd like to issue an update on my work and a reminder about the
current message size limit for the list...

Several folks -- Lisa, Del, Tel to name the most recent -- have managed
to send messages to the list that barely break the 18k message size

won't get any notice of that unless I respond to you myself, which I'm
not always energetic enough to do.

If you don't see your message post within an hour or so, try trimming
it down and sending again. Unless there is a problem with the mail

through right away, automatically.

Always delete most of the quoted text from your reply... it's usually
tacked on after your message and scrolls off the bottom of your editing
window, unseen. If you do that, you'll easily be able to send a couple
of pages of new text without breaking the limit, even if your mailer is
set to send fancy formatted text.

If you need to send more, then send only plain-text. It's an option in
almost every available program and webmail system, often right in the
message composer window. That will permit you to send several more
screens' worth of text, if you're forwarding information from another
source, for instance, or making lengthy detailed comments.

Thank you!

That brings me to the other item... I am continuing to work on
extensive changes to the configuration of the existing list software
which will greatly reduce the importance of the message size limit,
eliminate message format problems, improve security, and eliminate or
automate much of my remaining admin workload.

I've set up a trap that lets me send test messages through the Off
Topic List without them actually posting. So it should be less annoying
to OT List subscribers than it's been for the last couple of weeks,
even as I continue to use it for my testbed. Rest assured I'm still
working on it, even though the test messages have stopped. grin

When I'm ready I'll ask y'all to help me stress test the new code on
the OT List, before I copy things over to this list's setup and deploy
the changes here.

Again, thanks for your patience and continued cooperation.

Be well,
