Hi there;
I drop two drops of Lugol's Solution on my thigh in the morning. Bypasses
sensitive guts. If it disappears in 4 hours, my body needed it badly. In 8
hours, still absorbed, but I can back off a day if I wish. It always gets
absorbed. I've tried many things - this was cheapest and easiest.

It results from the depletion of blood and foundational essence, due to
age.
Treatment can be difficult, but I know of TCM doctors (one in
particular) who has great success with about 50% of cases, the other
cases being not impossible but more difficult to treat.
One of my buddies also said his hair was thinning due to liver fire
rising to his head. This is due to stress, or anger/frustration. Liver
fire would be more of an excess condition. If your face is red and
you're irritable, that sounds like liver fire.

What does TCM theory say about male pattern baldness?

Is it considered to be a deficiency or excess condition, or just
something that you live with - like 2 arms, 2 legs, one head, etc?

Once upon a time I had bonespurs on both heels- quite painful  and
one on my wrist just below the thumb joint  which interfered with
thumb movement and was also quite painful.

I also had  some painful hemorrhoids  for which someone advised I
put some cayenne pepper  in some Bragg's  Raw Apple Cider vinegar.
This seemed really strange to me  but others on the list verified it
worked so I tried it.    Not only did it clear the rrhoids  after
about 3 weeks  I noticed that all the bone spurs were gone as well.
That was several years ago and  none have  come back.

pointers to information you've found useful? I think either or both
of these therapies may end up being part of my own path to
 recovery.

 Hey Mike-

Sorry to take so long, been out of town for a few days.

Yes, on empty stomach, 2 hours minimum after eating anything and
preferably not having eaten too much at that time just to be sure.
Sometimes 3-4 hours since I was really serious about getting the
best effect of this. I did it at night merely because magnesium is
calming and inducing of sleep and because some of these effects
 demanded being still.

I have another reason for getting into enzymes. My wife has a
breast lump that was not diagnosed as cancerous, but the surgeon
tried to scare her into immediate surgery. We are limited in our
options about that here especially because of medical
mega-corporations moving into the area. So we're going alternative.
Enzymes are part of what we're doing and I'm doing everything she's
doing just on general principle. Besides, I have a few lumps and
such scattered around and want to see what enzymes will do for
 them.

There are many excellent enzymes out there, so many that it is
confusing, but I was really impressed when Bragg's got into the
 act:
 www.braggzyme.com.
It seems to me that Bragg's doesn't get into something that they
don't totally believe in. I listened to the audio at that site by
William Wong, over and over and decided this was for me.

We ordered ours from Fubao Health Store in San Francisco and were
pleased with their price and their free shipping deal over $99.
 Delivery was timely.

My wife is eating raw Daikon Radish as part of her enzyme effort.
 Supposedly
they help disperse fibro-tumors. We are also considering
Lumbrokinase which is fairly new. I'd really like to hear from
 anyone who has taken it.

 Hope this helps, Bob/DaddyBob

Apparently I have lived a much-too-sheltered life. I was not aware that
there was such prejudice against NAs. I'm sorry.
I look at things a bit backward from the rest of the world anyway. I
remember as a child my mother was explaining to me how the Jews were hated and
what Hitler had done. My question was why did people hate the Jews when it
should be the Germans that were hated? Of course, no one nationality should be
*hated* for anything. That would be like throwing the baby out with the bath
water. It can be hard, however...especially when it seems a whole country
backs the craziness.
I wonder how many times NAs have saved our white butts...

You would only need to add it under certain circumstances, Lisa, and
that would not be to the main bulk of your CS, only to some of it. CS
is fine in most circumstances on its own, but sometimes adding DMSO
which is a solvent, takes the CS deeper into the tissues, should there
be a need. It is dimethylsulphoxide. dee

I always clean my skin with colloidal silver before dabbing the DMSO on
since it can carry things in through the skin. I've never had any body
odor from using it (and I keep asking my husband if I do). My DMSO is
60%. https://jacoblab.com/OrderDMSODusa60.html I know you don't
have to spend that much for DMSO, but I love the ease of using this kind
and have never had any irritation or problem with it. One bottle will
last me years.

Currently I'm using it on my knee for tendonitis. I have a partial
knee replacement and the orthopaedic surgeon ok'd the DMSO in the
daytime and an NSAID patch at night. My previous orthopaedic surgeon
had approved DMSO use also, and that time it cleared up a tendon pain in
a couple days after weeks of it hurting.

very strong benefit in our ARMD evaluations, Astaxanthin favorably

volunteers with cataracts.

gave bluing in the fingernails? If you do have the start of Argyria,
from what I see in the literature Argyria is most often caused by liver
or kidney problems that prevent the body from eliminating the silver
rather than too much silver use. Have you had their functioning checked
recently?
There are other conditions that can cause a blue facial skin tone. It
can be caused by low blood oxygen, cigarette smoking, alcohol and
internal bleeding. Blood oxygen saturation is easily and non invasively
checked with an oximeter. Maybe your doctor has one and can check your
blood oxygen levels.

Below are my rationalisations regarding some of your points raised.
Your snipped quote:
[cs does not have a long shelf life] and [always make it fresh... This
might not be a creditable statement ]
-Produced using appropriate methods and equipment it'll keep as long as
I want. making it 'fresh' is credible if I want to ingest/apply
predominantly ionic silver for a given circumstance, for another
circumstance I may prefer a more even ratio of ions and particles
present in which case I would wait 24-48 hours before
ingesting/applying.
[should be used up as soon as possible]
-Only if I want to use a solution of high ionic silver content then I
would only make small amounts to ensure it is consumed/used while awake.
[The quality of the CS would also determine the shelf life]
-Quality is Distilled Water and Pure Silver which should give mine
unlimited shelf life.
[how could you test it?]
-Ignoring all the ballyhoo about meters, a meter will indicate when the
solution has reached it's stabilizing point and readings should only
fluctuate minimally from that point on...usually after 24-48 hours.
[that it needs to be keep dark and probably a cool and dry place]
-I made a 300ml glass four days ago to show someone and it's been
sitting on the kitchen cupboard under 'flouro' lighting ever since and
nothing has changed, still hovering around 19uS after stabilizing from
an initial 27.3uS, and with the distinct 'sheen' to the solution, very
faint 'colour' and fairly strong TE.

Dunno if my rationalisations are of any help?

I just read on that one german site for generators, that cs does not
have a long shelf life, and then it should be used up as soon as
possible, and that you should always make it fresh... This might not be
a creditable statement on their part, as I've read no such thing
anywhere, except of course, that it needs to be keep dark and probably a
cool and dry place, like most other natural remedies.

What would you guys say?
The quality of the CS would also determine the shelf life, I would
suppose. But again, how could you test it? Which generator had that
feature again? I think it would be helpful to know what one produced...

Two gallons is probably too much to brew at one time with most of the home
generators we see.
You would be better off starting out with a pint or a quart. (approx.
500 to 1000ml)

My rule of thumb is that the maximum amount of silver released into 1 cup of
water at 1 milliamp current is equivalent to approximately 17ppm. You can
extrapolate from this rule. Just use your reasoning abilities, if you have
any... (I assume you do)

Good questions on the type of magnesium.

Also, please tell us how much (bowel tolerance?), and how long should
this
be done?

Thank you,

Hi, Lou and welcome! I`m Marshalee, one of the real oldies around
here. I`ve
been taking CS since 1996, always home made. I take a swallow a day
now, as
a preventive, about 1/3 cup, of about 18 PPM. So far so good! I`m
still
pink, and have had no colds or flu for years. Used to be I`d get one
every 6
months or so, `til I figured out it was time to change batteries on
the CS
maker. Now I use a plug-in thingy and no colds. Or UTIs or anything
else.
Swine flu? Who cares. My gay son, well if he gets AIDS he knows where
to
come. I originally took CS for Lyme Disease. It is gone.
I worry about store bought CS, someone had some tested once, and it
was
nothing but colored water! Not to mention the expense!!!
Be glad to send you my simple directions to make it if you`d like,
JLMK.

homeopathic doctor recommends a half teaspoon in 8 oz. purified
water. I was
talking to a friend and she thinks that this mixture is extremely
high for
ingestion. I read so much and now questioning it. I have used this
for about
two years now and no adverse side effects or haven't turned blue yet.

Can someone let me know if this is true

 Thanks Lou

The highest ppm you can make real colloidal silver at is around 30, and
it is recommended to not go over 20. The Sota machine should be able to
do 20 easily.

To all (especially new members)

You can make a Controlled Current Generator with and Wall DC power
supply using

a Current Regulating Central Diode they come in various currents
610-1N5297 from Mouser Electronics is for 1 Mill amp

You put this in line with power supply with a volt meter you can measure
voltage (higher as Silver is further apart and lower as you move silver

closer together). It adjust voltage to maintain mill amp rating.

You can use even a low voltage power supply, it will just take longer.

I have a 9 volt power supply that puts out 9 volts at 800 mill amps,
at 1 mill amp it puts out close to 23 volts.

So if you read the voltage at no load with a multi meter (I mill amp is
close to no load).

Once you have a batch you can seed the next batch to save time.

   I'm no doctor.

I would think that if he can spray distilled water into his eyes,
that CS is about the same thing.

I recently had some dental work done that caused or spread an
 infection to
my tongue and under the tongue. The dentist put me on penicillin
and I used EIS with DMSO to no effect by either. Finally I started
rinsing my mouth with 200 ppm silver citrate every 3 to 4 hours and

  it eliminated
 the
infection in less than 2 days. I could tell an improvement after
  the
 first
  use of the SC.
  Just an FYI.
