Everybody out there: can you tell me what other plugins you are using?
Any additional repositories set up in Settings/Plugins?

I am still struggling with similar issues too - IPeng showing no
players, and needing to restart squeezebox.exe process (LMS) in Task
Manager. I have found it all very difficult to pin down. I can go 3
weeks without issue, then it comes back. I just checked my LMS plugins
and image browser was back toonow I have cleared it, and I'll keep
an eye on it. Restarted a Controller too.

Could you please send me a copy of your state.prefs file? You can find
it in the Prefs' plugin sub-folder (see Settings/Information).

Gary, thanks for all the help but not working yet. I got Cryptoterm and
was able to log in. Then I copied and pasted your code directly in. Here
is a transcript of what happened. At that point, it would not let me
enter any further code. So I tried to manually reboot, then log in
again. Got the same errors. Perhaps directories on my machine are
different. Tell me how and I will print out a list of my directories or
whatever else you need to see.

In fact there really is no audio processing at all unless you are
hacking it to change sample rates or change formats because e.g. your

As 7.9 is NOT officially supported by Logitech, you won't get the update
notification when running the officially release 7.7.x branch. You'll
have to download and install it manually.

Oh, and to answer the original question: yes, 7.7.5 should run just fine
on Windows 10.

[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Is LMS v7.7.5 compatible with Windows 10?

2017-03-21 Thread jeff52807

Got a new Desktop PC to replace an old one with Windows Vista. Plan to
use it for Squeezebox almost exclusively. 20K songs in one Folder on
the new one, same as the old.

Downloaded LMS. Can't get Sqeezebox to recognize them all. Got about
half.

Called phone support several times (what a joke), and the last guy I
spoke with says LMS not compatible with Windows 10.

Is that true?

If someone on the forum would be willing to help me with this, I'd be
very grateful.

Thanks,
Jeff in Iowa/USA

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Trap Divide Error with Logitech Media Server

2017-03-21 Thread spedinfargo

I have a something to add to this thread.

I have also been plagued by the "GDResizer.pm line 165" crash. Had it
for a while, rebuilt my LMS from scratch, was fine for a month or two
and then just last night it cropped up again. Argh. I'm running
Windows 8.1

With pbjbryan's notes above I went back and checked out the Picture
Gallery plugin. It was indeed enabled and furthermore it had a bunch of
Gallery Paths that I _KNOW_ that were never entered by me. In fact,
several of them were from an external drive that I've had hooked up to
the server for a few weeks.

Here's what's most interesting: I just YESTERDAY unplugged that
external drive. And those folders are still in the Picture Gallery
settings (even though they are invalid paths).

So a couple of possible problems here:
- Why (how?) is Picture Gallery adding folders to its settings? How
does it determine which folders to add? Is it something to do with
Windows Libraries (which has always kind of been a mystery)
- Is it possible that missing/invalid paths in Picture Gallery settings
are not being handled correctly?

I don't have time to test any of these theories - I'm going to disable
the plug-in to see if the problem goes away. Just tossing these ideas
out here in case anyone else has thoughts...

lol understood, however I don't see any suspicious connections over the
past week. Could it be these settings are cached on mysqueezebox.com?
Either way, I will disable those ports for now and see what happens the
next time I install a nightly build.
In the meantime, where do the prefs from Picture Gallery get stored
(files paths). Is there somewhere I could check to see if they still
exist?
I did not get a chance to look at the Controller last night, so I don't
know if the plugin somehow wound up back in it.

Re: allowing remote access, is there a better way to set this up other
than port mapping and setting a user/password?

No, I cannot play the station, I get a looped message telling me to go

Sure - that is the right station - and the URL that I gave is one that
comes from that route.
However, did the station play for you?
It did not for me - but then when I switched to the AAC URL I thne got
the notice about not being supported outside USA/Canada just as I had

I run LMS without mysqueezebox.com, I have no TuneIn account, is it not
as simple as using LMS "search" under Radio?

Appologies if this is the wrong station.

I think that the issue with that particular one is that TuneIn is
returning a URL that tries to play an MP3 stream (that does not work)
... but it should be returning a link to an AAC one (that does work).
I cannot test it properly because they block access from outside of
USA/Canada ... but try this URL
http://stream.abacast.net/playlist/entercom-wlnkfmaac-ibc1.m3u
If it works then I'll try suggesting an update to TuneIn to remove the
MP3 one.

Thanks a lot! I think that trace lead me right up to a bug I introduced
in my attempt to limit the hammering of mysb.com due to rogue LMS

Code:

  --- a/Slim/Networking/SqueezeNetwork.pm

!$params{SSLfailed} ) {
$log->warn("We've failed to log in a few moments ago, or are still waiting
for a response. Let's not try again just yet, we don't want to hammer it.");
  return $params{ecb}->(undef, cstring($client, 'SETUP_SN_VALIDATION_FAILED'));

Thanks for a great finding!

Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Tunein Radio Missing Local Stations

2017-03-21 Thread toby10

LMS is not the problem. The problem is either TuneIn or (most likely)
the station itself. My bet is the station has requested TuneIn to
restrict access to only web browser access so it can display it's ad
content. You can contact both TuneIn and the station and ask them.
Might be a mistake by TuneIn, but unlikely.

All of the content within LMS > Internet Radio is managed by TuneIn.
