WOW, now I really have a problem! I have been mainly looking at one Touch and started looking at my other Touch on this network. Touch in the beginning has all three and when I tap on Switching to MySB.com the screen jolts to the right a quarter inch and the Touch makes the "Doink" sound. But the screen remains the same with the three choices, only the top two work. Second Touch (which has had a Reset Factory Defaults and latest Firmware installed) only has the first two lines, there is no Switching to MySB.com to even tap on. Now what is up with that? One Touch not working the other completely missing it. *iPhone* Media Room: ModWright Platinum Signature Transporter, VTL TL-6.5 Signature Pre-Amp, Ayre MX-R Mono's, VeraStarr 6.4SE 6-channel Amp, Vandersteen Speakers: Quatro Wood Mains, VCC-5 Reference Center, four VSM-1 Signatures, Video: Runco RS 900 CineWide AutoScope 2.35:1, Vandersteen V2W Subwoofer Living Room: Transporter, ADCOM GTP-870HD, Cinepro 3K6SE III Gold, Vandersteen Model 3A Signature, Two 2Wq subs, VCC-2, Two VSM-1 Office: Touch with Vandersteen VSM-1s Kitchen: Touch in-wall mount w/ Thiel Powerpoint 1.2s Bedroom: Squeezebox BOOM Bathroom: Squeezebox Radio Around the House: SliMP3, SB1, SB2, SB3 Ford Thunderbird: Duet, Mac Mini Ford Expedition: SB Touch, USB drive iPhone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13622 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107340 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Hello, to the end of the last 'thread' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107276-LMS-7-9-0-on-WD-My-Book-Live-Duo-running-after-severel-tries-than-died-over-night=882371#post882371) opened by me I have reported that I gave up to operate LMS on MyBook Live Duo and moved instead to a Raspberry Pi with volumio. Unfortunately my enthusiasm was rash. 1. Installation was easy and the volumio instance did not show any interdependencies. 2. The scan, which has driven me on the MBDL to the madness ran successfully and initially took about 8h with about 66,000 music files so far so good After adjusting the plugins a reboot was necessary and then LMS could no longer reached via Port 9000. I have tried several times since the LMS completely reinstalled and divere hints from the www tried - but always the same described above behavior: after reboot the port 9000 is no longer active. The server is definitely running (ps aux | grep squeeze). Port 9000 is "dead" (netstat) All attempts with tips on similar constellation do not lead to success. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Compilation Album grouping problem
I usually find mp3tag to be pretty fast, but then again I'm rarely loading up more than a few albums at a time for editing. I was curious, so I just loaded up my compete collection on mp3tag (about 96,000 tracks, FLAC, some mp3, some m4a). This took approximately 33 minutes. This is an i7 windows machine and files are on an eSata drive (not SSD) attached to the windows machine. I can't speak to OGG files, as I don't have any. With regard to compilations in general, I just looked and I have 445 compilation CDs. All show up properly in LMS and in foobar2000. *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.9 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.9 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win8(64) > LMS 7.9 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Transporter, Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win8(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107341 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

You might consider converting the .ogg files to a different format and see if that helps with your problem. You do use way more tag fields than I do. I believe in keeping things simple but you must have your reasons for the number of fields you use. dasmueller's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38035 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107341 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

I apply the same settings but keep having the following problems: Different folders but the same year make LMS sort the Compilation albums of both .ogg and .mp3-files to different compilations to the effect that you have sth like 10 compilations of the same name, i.e. one for each artist. Despite a compilation tag of 1. In addition artists like Wrongkong do not show up under artists at all but only when searching for them in detail. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Issues with SETTINGS in LMS 7.9
Maybe try temporarily installing LMS 7.7.5 (current main release) on a different computer, see if symptoms are solved. Also on your VB LMS try purposely entering a wrong password for MySB.com, see if you get an "invalid login" error. toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107340 ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter

Production machine is a 670, backup is a 569. Re-loaded LMS last night and updated all the wifi access points/switches - as of now it is all working on the 670pro - I'll report back in a couple of days if it is still good. Re: [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Ignoring *.sync-conflict-* files?
The title/description of "Advanced>File Types>Disabled Audio File Extensions" doesn't inspire me, and I am not sure the ignoreDirRE pref would apply? Wow! You're even aware of this possibility? It's what I would have suggested using. Try to make it something like the value you wrote in the subject line (no need for the * on both ends). "\.sync-conflict-\d+" would probably make it more restrictive, while still working. -- -- Michael ___ Squeezecenter mailing list Squeezecenter@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
