[SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] How to get back to a single player in pCP
Hello I am running pCP 7 on a Pi 3b+. It is getting a problem. Every time I switch on I have a choice of two players and have to choose from the default player to the other, usb audio and hw:CARD=DAC,DEV=0 before it will play. Has anyone an idea why I have two players and how do I delete the non functional one. As far as I know, for playback of https streams you need to set the streaming method for your players to "proxied streaming". This can be done via LMS => Settings => Player => player name => Audio. Almost at the bottom you can change the Streaming Method from direct streaming to proxied streaming (if not already set to proxied streaming). Miraculous. That did it and Organlive now plays. Hello I am running pCP7 on a Pi 3B+ into a 7 inch screen 1024 x 600. I would like to increase the height as there is a 1 cm border at top and bottom of screen. I am using HD 640 x 480 skin. I have tried altering config.txt to: overscan_top=-100 overscan_bottom=-100 (Thanks to Chill) This does reduce the top and bottom border but only in the pCP boot up screen, not in Jivelite. Is there any way I can do this in Jivelite. Hello I have pCP on a 3B+ and am attaching a remote IR receiver to +3.3v, gnd and various GPIOs, 17, 27, 18. and saving in IR page. If I try sudo ir-keytable -p all -c , I get - no devices found. If I try sudo ir-keytable -t , I get bthe same - no devices found. The IR receiver is new, tried two and connected correctly. Has anyone any Idea what is going on. Hello I have pCP on a P1 3, working well but have a problem with RadioNet and Beethoven Channel. Using the web interface I can find it in RadioNet and play it and make it one of my favorites. If I select it with the web interface it plays but I cannot select it with my remote control and the internal user interface. I don't usually use the web interface except for scanning. Any idea why remote cannot play it but plays all other favorites. Any help appreciated. When I transfer favorites.opml on a new installation I take out the flash card and put it in the laptop and can examine it and transfer favorites.opml. Plugged in to PC I can see easily what is in each directory, that is how I found prefs. I don't really understand the difference in the two problems. But the logos for stations I have searched for in Radionet and saved to favorites, appear in the list of favorites even though they will not play unless selected by the web interface. One small problem is organlive is the 128k stream and 320k stream is better. [SlimDevices: SqueezeCenter] Tiny Core Linux and pCP
Hello Has anyone done any work on pCP on a PC, say using Tiny Core Linux and LMS and squeezelite. I have a few thin clients, 1GHZ and 2gb ram and would like pCP running on one. I set it to GPIO 22 and it worked perfectly so thank you for that. I also have a much better feel for ssh. Next thing is to get an old remote control to work on pCP. Yes I have read the tutorial and am looking forward to trying but Ebay is slow because of covid19 and our local post is very slow for the same reason. (key symbols that you need to map) I have a remote in mind from a Dreambox sat receiver. It has a menu key but also vol+ and vol-.
