I have 10 distinct IMAP accounts set up in SM 2.0.2 Mail/News, so it is clearly possib le. There are several ways to access the add account wizard. File>>New>>Account works, as does Edit>>Mail and Newsgroups Account Settings>>Add Account. Your right CLick version also gets you into Account Settings. When I click the Add Account link, I am presented with a dialog to set the type of account, email, Blogs and News Feeds, Newsgroup account, as well as a couple of others that are platform specific. Select Email Account, then Continue. On the next page, enter your name and email address, click Continue. On the third page of the wizard, where you enter your incoming server informatio is where you make the choice between POP or IMAP. Sounds to me like you are clicking through the first page of the wizard without making the proper selection, though, since Email account is the default setting, I'm not sure how you are getting into the Newsgroup setup dialog.
