Why would you want to use another E-mail client? I think that most
people that gravitate towards Seamonkey do it because of the all-in-one
browser/e-mail client integration.

This is happening on my ISP (Kinda) Server. I connect via Verizon but

So far as I know, Verizon has discontinued newsgroup access, so your
answer does not compute ;)

In SM 2.0.2, you must have at least one newsgroup account set up. For
example, to post here, one would expect that you ahve an account set up
for news.mozilla.org. You may have others, there are several free and
paid news servers out there, but Verizon no longer supplies one.

So, on which account or accounts are you ahving this problem? Is it
here on news.mozilla.org, on another account, or on all accounts?

I have one server, Annexcafe that requires it. It the method they use to

Wish I could, there was one I had bookmarked for SM 1.1.xx series, but honestly
1.1.xx and 2.x.x are compatible mostly at the acronym level, consider the suite
as a wild animal, and poke it here and there to see what it does. You are
probably learning faster than reading a tutorial, browsing through the menus and

With the second bank, my home loan account www.westpac.com.au, even at

I just checked "Mostly Crystal" (v2.0.1) works correctly on the lock, although
only the icon in the selector bar gets a yellow background. Obvious what it

I should check my other themes, but time is short and the only themes I use

Thank you, that's it! Apparently something went screwy with my
"news.mozilla.org" newsgroup account. So the New Account Wizard wasn't
presenting the "Type of Account" screen, but rather jumped right in to
trying to "fix" that account.

The link you provided talked about manually changing your "prefs.js"
file, but I found that simply deleting the "broken" account and
re-creating it does the trick also.

I have 10 distinct IMAP accounts set up in SM 2.0.2 Mail/News, so it is
clearly possib le.

There are several ways to access the add account wizard.
File>>New>>Account works, as does Edit>>Mail and Newsgroups Account
Settings>>Add Account. Your right CLick version also gets you into
Account Settings.

When I click the Add Account link, I am presented with a dialog to set
the type of account, email, Blogs and News Feeds, Newsgroup account, as
well as a couple of others that are platform specific. Select Email
Account, then Continue.

On the next page, enter your name and email address, click Continue.

On the third page of the wizard, where you enter your incoming server
informatio is where you make the choice between POP or IMAP.

Sounds to me like you are clicking through the first page of the wizard
without making the proper selection, though, since Email account is the
default setting, I'm not sure how you are getting into the Newsgroup
setup dialog.

Looking further into the issue, I realized that the theme does not work
perfectly: it does not display the navigation toolbar, which restricts a

Could you be a little more specific about what does not Work?

For me everything works except it conflict with Quote colors.
besides put each person quote if you will, into separate colors it
changes the

> or thick "|" into a very thin "|" (| is used as format flowed character)

when QC is working correctly beside text being colored depending up
the depth of the thread you have a series of |'s example three quotes
deep would be |||. Each a different color. two would be ||. one would be |.

using SkyPilot  only  they show as ||| >>>, || >> and, | >;  Respectively.

This affects SM and TB only as For FireFox when it did work (FF2) it
worked perfectly I think what the problem is the Jar file in SkyPilot
Classic, inserted the file in the mail Chrome and with SM 2 and FF 3 ,
they are inserted somewhere else. I can get it to load, into FF But it
does change anything even when selected because FF 3 doesn't expect it
there, in the main chrome. If I knew where themes are installed I'd
place there.

what was neat was that Sailfish came out with some sub skins which
change to colors used. I never used the other colors because I liked it.
and although the blue background was very dark as you hovered over an
item it glowed as if some one turn on a 100 watt light bulb behind it.

up an install screen for it it show this theme not available for this
Browser?

Simple. I make it a habit to store theme files. I just loaded the
one I
have into FF 3.6, which was initially meant for FF 2.x and proves
to be

compatible.

If anyone is interested, I will be happy to post it wherever
indicated,

inasmuch the author does not object.

I tried fudging the user agent Got it to install but it used a .jar
file

*not* an xpi.
would not work.

Send to my email address.

sorry left out a word added it above.

Was this word ... please? :-)

Actually it was Pretty, Pretty Please.

But installed and it didn't work

Looking further into the issue, I realized that the theme does not work
perfectly: it does not display the navigation toolbar, which restricts a
lot its useability. No other anomaly that I can find so far.

Could you be a little more specific about what does not Work?
