Desktop search solution for Seamonkey email under Linux?
Hi group, I am using Seamonkey 2.0.6 under openSUSE 11.2 (x64). I tried installing Google Desktop Search (GDS) v1.2.0.0088 (latest version downloaded today) but it doesn't index email. Is there any way to get GDS to index my email? I found this link but it is for Windows...: http://groups.google.com/group/mozilla.support.seamonkey/browse_frm/thread/7b9417e2c9293439/ca4073631ffda65a?lnk=gstq=desktop+search#ca4073631ffda65a If not, what other desktop search solution can I use? I have a lot of email and Seamonkey's search capabilities are too limited. Many thanks! ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Need plug-in hacked
Hi Group There is a plug-in http://wiki.memberplugin.org/ that I would like to know if someone could hack to use with Seamonkey. This plug-in is for use with Freecycle.com web site and mailing list and is available for IE and Firefox but not Seamonkey. I was advised by the plug-in support that it might be an easy hack by using http://users.skynet.be/fa258499/hackexttutorial.html but to me that might as well be in Martian as I know very little about righting or editing programs or apps. Also they didn't seem too enthused about rewriting the plug-in to use with Seamonkey themselves. -- Big Bill ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

I am in SM 2.0.5 on this laptop with the version of Puppy (spup 040) I have booted at the moment. I have no idea as to the 101 potential differences between your install and mine. Just thought I'd share the observation in case anyone else is seeing the same thing. :-) It could easily be a memory conflict or something else local to my hardware or software - almost impossible to chase - and if no one else is reporting the same experience it is not worth chasing. Neither you nor Rick Merrill have described what problem you are seeing. The only problem I saw was that the images are apparently from a server different from the server with the surrounding page. The pages are all from www.google.com. However, he thumbnails are from t0.gstatic.com, t1.gstatic.com, etc; and the large images are from www.seriouswheels.com, img.dailymail.co.uk, fancytuning.com, and elsewhere. Thus, I had to change my image preferences from Accept images that come from the originating server only (my usual setting) to Accept all images. -- David E. Ross http://www.rossde.com/. Emails not visible
My SeaMonkey mail Inbox contains some 900 emails at the top level as well as a hierarchy of sub-folders each with its own collection of emails. The 900 emails at the Inbox's top level have become invisible in the Thread Pane, although the Folder Pane still shows that there are some 900 emails there. All the emails in the sub-folders are still fully visible in the Thread Pane. I have restarted SeaMonkey without success, and have rebooted the computer again without success. Any suggestions?
Was tut es da ? Dieser Effekt ist mir auch schon von SM 1 - Versionen bekannt. Bitte um Nachricht, wenn jemand diesen Fehler kennt. mfG Jochen -- Dr.med.
