OK. v tom případě by to mohla být ikona s foťákem a pak ikona s foťákem a 
vykřičníkem.

pripadu kdy je tam ta blba fotka je par (cca 40), ale prijde mi vhodne
to rozlisovat, protoze je asi dobre se pred cestou do toho mista na to
pripravit, podivat se kdyz tam ta fotka je, proc nejde pouzit a co
presne tedy mam nafotit. Ostatnich je mnohem vic (tisice).

Na tohle by se spis hodilo rozpoznavani dopravnich znacek... o kterym
vime ze ho ma mappilary.

A ono by asi stacilo vytahnout kazdou fotku na ktery je podezrele
hodne bily a na ni cerny text...

No když tak nad tím uvažuji, tak možná bude rychlejší napsat skript, který 
mi do nějaké adresáře vygeneruje zmenšené náhledy, ty vizuálně zkontroluji, 
rozcestníky a cedule si dám bokem a s tím pak budu pracovat. :-D

Hola Humberto,

Para mi, no está claro como cargar los imagenes. No veo un url valido. Hay
manera de agregarlo en el comando dirigido al remote control de JOSM, lo
que seria mucho mas conveniente.

Il n'empêche que OverPass API est encore un service trop fragile. On a 3
serveurs mais il arrive souvent qu'ils aient des problèmes en même temps
(pas forcément les mêmes). Il y a peu de redondance.

Sujet connexe : Wikimedia a aussi des périodes hors service ces jours-ci
(mode read-only sur tous les wikis) pour faire des tests de courte durée de
transfert d'un cluster américain à un autre. Il y en aura d'autres lors du
transfert final annoncé (cela devrait se faire base de données par base de
données, mais il y a certains systèmes partagés à reconfigurer comme les
DNS, les proxies caches et le système d'authentification avec la base de
sécurité des utilisateurs, ou encore les systèmes de notification par mail).

Les areas ont été en rade (pas à jour) sur le serveur allemand pendant 2
semaines, mais elles ont redemarré (et rattrapé au moins une partie du
retard). Entre temps elles fonctionnaient sur le serveur russe (qui en
revanche avait un peu de retard sur les diffs, mais pas trop...)

Re defibrillators -- I think that would be a nice project.

It seems that councils and NHS Ambulance trusts often hold lists of
these and various people have already been requesting the information
using FOI: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/search/defibrillator/all . I
don't know how complete those lists are where they exist.

There are also a couple of websites providing nationwide locations on
a map: http://www.heartsafe.org.uk/AED-Locations and
http://www.defibtracker.co.uk/ They currently have more than OSM, but
both are missing several I've mapped in Norfolk and Suffolk, so aren't
complete.

I made a quick umap of existing defibrillators:
http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/defibrillators-uk_81299#7/53.898/-2.670

There are several hotspots: including Tendring, Trafford, Fermanagh,
Nottingham. Of these Trafford data is probably complete, originating from
the council OpenData, and thus might provide a useful baseline of how many
to expect in a given local authority. I'm not sure how well located the
Trafford ones might be; I've looked at a few in Sale & they don't seem to
be associated with the typical locations: village halls, convenience
stores, post offices, pubs etc.

My impression is that it's not unreasonable to expect to find one in most
villages: they seem to be something that parish councils can sort out for
themselves.

sans plus ample demande, oapi serait désactivé.
A moins qu'il s'agisse de oapi-fr, je laisse Jocelyn ou Christian répondre.

Dans la même veine, il semblerait que overpass international ne
calcule plus les areas.
Toutes mes requêtes sont en rade depuis 1 mois.

jj, taky jsem si říkal. Ideálně udělat dockerfile nebo vagrant
konfigurák, který by to rozjel jako mikroservice. Ideální na testování.

Apache konfigurák by se hodil, ať nemusím luštit na jaká url jsou
pověšené ty handlery.

V turistických trasách jsme už na hezkých 56%!

A nadchází nám turistická sezóna. Takže se snažte plánovat své rodinné
výlety směrem, kde jsou nezmapovaná území :)

A pokud sedíte doma a nechce se vám cestovat, tak si můžete vzít nějaký
čtverec, kde ještě není žádná poznámka - klidně i z druhé strany
republiky - a porovnat ho s ostaními dostupnými zdroji a napsat do
čtverce co tam chybí (rozcestník, NS, cesta nějaké barvy). Což pak
zjednodušší práci maperovi, který se do oblasti vypraví, protože ví na
co se má zaměřit.

aprendiendo y observando el desarrollo de las actividades, para estar
listos y prevenidos ante cualquier eventualidad.

amenity=book_exchange, although I'd use amenity=public_bookcase now.

Otherwise, you would first output all building-ways, resolve them to
their respective node and then output the center points of those
nodes(!), rather than returning the center point of the ways.

Hmm. Zkoušel jsem to nějak rozchodit u sebe na lighhttp, ale asi
potřebuji apache co? Alespoň podle kódu, kde se hojně vyskytuje
'Apache2...'.
Mohl by jsi mi když tak poslat mimo konferenci konfigurák apache? Bych
to zkusil nejak rozchodit. Bez toho se vývoj dělat nedá.

Hi,

So I contacted Belga. The report was only used by Metro and Zondag. They
didn't think anyone else would pick up on it, and did not see any use in
correcting it in their own database. I did get a personal contact at Belga
we can call next time we do something, who promised to listen carefully
that time. And they will also contact Metro to ask and change their article
a bit (remove the Google Earth mention). I don't think it's a good idea to
share the e-mail here, but I can send it to anyone who requests it.

Apparently, they contacted someone from the university who said something
along the lines of "tracing on satellite pictures form the same sources
available in Google Earth". And they went from there. So yes, a little
press-training might be in order to avoid things like that.

usage of leaflet and maperitive for producing web overlays and printed maps
with specific items emphasized.

Whether we should have an OOC layer for 6inch OS on
maps.openstreetmpa.ie/oocmaps?

Whether it is desirable and if it can be done, to improve the my user
experience with maps.openstreetmap.ie on say a 7" tablet by having an
enlarged pop-up mini window with the two or three overlay choices when I
hit two or more of them by mistake. Can ably demonstrate my difficulty with
this on Saturday.

6)As the Poor Law Union areas coincided with the Superindentent Registrar's
Districts (so important to genealogists) for many decades we might consider
adding them as an overlay option to maps.openstreetmap.ie

Donal, please forgive me, maybe one of the others might offer help with
some of the above if being acted on. Your spendid layers on
maps.openstreetmap.ie along with Rory's townlands.ie have brought gasps of
amazement and admiration from many local studies librarians when I have
shown them.

7)I have, from the Library Developemnt Section of the LGMA,  an excel
spreadsheet with email addresses for most of the County Librarian, with
permission to send an introductory email, Maybe someone could please
compose a suggested mail and post it here or bring it for discussion on
Saturday.

Ahoj,

dovolim si tema odbocit. Muze to zajimat i nekhoho jineho a ve vlakne o 
OsmHiCheck to trochu zavazi...

Offline oblasti na Google mapach - to je skvela zprava, vyzkouseno.
Funguje tak, ze si uzivatel nastavi velikost stahovane plochy, nejvetsi je 
ca 250x250 km, system avizuje predpokladatelnou velikost dat (v max pripade 
1550 MB, ale je to HODNE nepresny odhad) a dany ctverec stahne. Stahne 
veskera vektorova data, takze ten ctverec pak funguje ve vsech priblizenich 
(jen vektorove, nikoliv ortofoto!). U ctverce o velikosti jizni Moravy 
odhaduje velikost 600 MB. Stahnout lze vice ctvercu (tipuji omezeni pouze 
mistem na lokalnim ulozisit) a uzivatelsky pojmenovat. System dava offline 
mape "platnost" 29 dnu (co se stane pak nevim), pravdepodobne se pak snazi 
stahnout aktualnejsi verzi. V Nastaveni lze definovat, ze data budou 
stahovana vyhradne via Wi-Fi.

Kontrola a zmena GPS pozice na Google mapach (OS Android, konkretne stroj LG
G3)
V tomto pripade jsem opet overil a popisovana feature stale funguje a uz se 
(zda se) nesnazi prilipnout spendlik pri posunu v mape na nejblizsi adresni 
misto... Postup: fotku otevru v internim editoru a to tak, ze jsou k ni 
zobrazeny dalsi moznosti (ikony sdileni apod.). Pokud ma GPS informace, je 
pod fotkou cerveny Google spendlik a u nej blizke adresni misto (ulice, 
mesto). Kliknout na spendlik - otevre se tento spendlik v Google mape a nad 
nim bublina. V bubline je presna adresa spendliku a take ikona editace 
(spendlik a tuzticka). Po kliku na ikonu editace vybehne pop-up okno 
"Upravit: Upravit oblast / Odstranit umístění). Lze tedy takto fotku 
dodatecne i lokacne "anonymizovat". Pri vyberu "Upravit oblast" se stane 
spendlik v mape pohyblivym, po premisteni na nove misto lze dole na displeji
potvrdit "Zrušit / Uložit".

pripadu kdy je tam ta blba fotka je par (cca 40), ale prijde mi vhodne
to rozlisovat, protoze je asi dobre se pred cestou do toho mista na to
pripravit, podivat se kdyz tam ta fotka je, proc nejde pouzit a co
presne tedy mam nafotit. Ostatnich je mnohem vic (tisice).

casem az toho bude k nafoceni mene ma podle mne smysl resit dalsi
problemy a tridy chyb, ted je to cele cileno na to mit zdroj informaci
kde je nejaky rozcestnik, ktery potrebuju vyfotit.

klidne, ale i kompletni muze byt chybny. Pokud to bude obecne vrstva
vystupu z OsmHiCheck, tak to bude hlasit nejake problemy a chyby,

aktualni verze je v svn, dokud neudelam v apachu specialni api
virtualhost. Musim to udelat co nejdriv:)
na githubu je nakej rekneme tydeni vycuc, ale klidne si tam cokoliv
pridej, ja to nejak mergnu.

(sorry, krapet delší reakce na dané téma mých nafocených rozcestníků)

Ahoj,

nahledl jsem na disk a mam tam stovky snimku rozcestniku. Vsechno je to 
focene technicky za ucelem pouziti v tomto projektu.

Potiz je v tom, ze jsem si (jako obvykle) postupne vypracoval a stanovil 
docela vysoke standardy. Kazde misto vyfotim jako celek (kvuli kontrole 
toho, zda je POI rozcestniku umisten v mape spravne, pak fotim rozcestniky a
take vzdy fotim koncove znacky (aby bylo jednoznacne zrejme, ze jde o 
koncovy a ne o neuplny rozcestnik). Pokud nejde vyfotit rozcestnik jako 
celek, pak jej fotim na vickrat a fotku skladam do jednoho obrazku. To 
stejne v pripade koncove znacky trasy. Snimek vzdy oriznu na technicky celek
(aby bylo na obrazku jen to, co nas zajima). Kdyz neni nutno skladat, jsem 
to schopen udelat i v mobilu - orez, barevnou korekci. Je-li u ropzcestníku 
turistická mapa, vyfotím taky (především z důvodu, abych nezapomněl,že tam 
byla a juknul, zda je zavedená v POI).

Jenze pri cestach s zenou a dvema detmi se te uprave na miste (pripadne 
rovnou uploadu) clovek moc venovat nemuze - zpravidla mam jedno dite za 
krkem nebo v nositku atd... cili pak si prinasim (celkem kvalitni) fotky 
domu a syslim si je tu... a večer po návratu (kdo ma dvě energií nabité děti
ví, co říkám) už není síla na nic...

Coz je maler, protoze sam svoji blbosti a nedodelanim zpusobuju to, ze mrak 
fotek kolem Brna, ktere uz mam davno doma, mezi tim foti dalsi mappeři - 
celkem zbytečně, mohli se věnovat dalším rozcestníkům (když bych nebyl 
debil...)

Což je otázka co nyní s tím, protože řadu těch fote, co jsou nyní už 
vyfocené mám, a je dost pravděpodobné, že ve větší technické, obsahové i 
informační kvalitě.

Předat to jako hromadu fotek někomu k dodělání se obávám skončí tím, že se v
tom nevyzná (a vykašle se skládat jednu fotku ze dvou až 4 snímků, když jsem
to shválně vyfotil takto dělěně - jako třeba včera, směrníky na 2 fotky a 
dvě konové značky každá zvlášť). Další věc je ta, že u některých vím, že je 
blbě GPS (zůstala zasyncovaná z předchozího rozcestníku), případně že tam 
není GPS vůbec a já tuším, kde ten rozcestník je. Je to napříč republikou, 
jižní Čechy, Brno, Prostějov, Olomouc, Kroměříž...

Jediné řešení je, že se tím prostě proberu a možná mi ušetří čas, když to 
někdo nahraje (ještě se domluvit jak postupovat při validaci GPS).

BTW: problém s validním GPS je jedna z věcí, kterou stále řeším. Fotím 
mobilem, dříve LG G2, ten v režimu fotoaparát ukazoval ikonu ne/zasyncované 
GPS, současný LG G3 to sviňa neukazuje. Lze postupovat tak, že po vyfocení 
kliknu na GPS souřadnice u fotky a on mi načte Google mapu a já vidím, kam 
ty souřadnice ukazují - což ale předpokládá nějaké datové připojení (což v 
hlubokých lesích ne vždy funguje), v rozhraní Google map se pak dá změnit i 
poloha (když je to ulítlé moc), ale vždycky tu opravenou polohu ten Google 
krám nakonec posune k nejbližšímu adresnímu místu, takže to má smysl jen v 
zástavbě a jen tehdy, když je to z nějakého důvodu fakt blbě... V poslední 
době ale mám GPS velmi přesné, podílí se na tom i to, že mám (fakt velkou) 
externí powerbanku a při celodenním výletě to mám celý den na powerbance v 
kapse či na kole připojené, foťák nahozený, klidně i mapy, prostě tak, aby 
byl GPS přijímač stále v pozoru... (bez powerbanky bych takhle byl za 5-6 
hodin bez baterky...

Při nahrávání fotek rozcestníků na openstreetmap.cz jsem si všiml, že v 
případě, že rozcestník má starý formát ref, tak se nenahraje lomítko - viz 
rozcestníky s ID 5873 a 5874 kde se místo správného 4867/342 a 4867/343 
nahrálo 4867342 a 4867343

prevede benissimo l'esistenza di altro materiale nel mezzo «There

Due differenti highways non descrivono correttamente la situazione
perché si tratta di un'unica strada. "le isolette" sono parte
integrante della strada su cui vi transitano i veicoli, di certo non
vi è alcun giardino in mezzo!!

Jakože rozcestník recognition? Nahraj to na facebook a otaguj uživatele
"Rozcestník" :-)

Jinak ale nevím. Dlouho bych chtěl něco, co mi umožní dělat takovéhle věci, i za
tu cenu že ty fotky musím nejdřív označit nějak, ale většinou je to tak
nešikovné, pomalé a komplikované, že na to nemám morál :-)

Neznáte někdo sw pro linux, který umí rozpoznávat fotky? Mám fotky pěkně 
roztříděné dle roku, data a názvu akce. Ale potřeboval bych si bokem 
vytáhnout všechny nafocené rozcestníky bez toho, abych musel otrocky 
prolézat všechny podadresáře. Za ty roky se mi jich nasbíralo opravdu hodně 
:-D

jo, pocital jsem s tim, ze se ikony doladi. O fotaku jsem taky
premyslel ale obe jsou potreba realne nafotit, takze to mi prislo

ty popisky jsou porad taky zavadejici - missing = neni foto a neni
ref, noref = je nejake foto ale neni ref (realne vetsinou proto, ze je
foto spatne nebo neceho jineho nez rozcestniku apod, takze se ref neda
vycist a je potreba nafotit znovu).

Tak může se to změnit na "chybí foto anebo ref". V tom případě by se ty dva 
typy vůbec nemusely rozlišovat. A mohla by být jen jedna ikona.

A nebo je těch druhý chyb více, a v tom případě by stálo za to je rozlišit 
všechny,




Ono obecně by toho v té bublině mohlo být více. Každý problém na extra 
řádku. Takže bych po klilknutí na bublinu viděl, co všechno chybí.




Jo a mimichodem - co takhle přejmenovat tu vrstvu na "Nekompletní 
rozcestníky"?

uz je udelane presouvani fotek, jen nema zadne ui zatim, v podstate v
bubline bude ikonka "presun" a po kliknuti se nekde udela cudl hotovo,
ktery bude slouzit na potvrzeni finalni lokace.

novy upload se musi udelat, bude vicefazovy takze se uploadne a pak se
bude moci doladit pozice a az potom se to finalne zapise do db.

Very good ideas. I hope Kristien Ooms from UGent will be able to
organise the Missing Maps parties for students that she has in mind.
For the Geography dept. of UGent,  it is interesting as they have
projects in Ethiopia with guest students visiting the university. So
they already have people that can give background information.

Some remarks:

·It might be a good idea to have some promotional material for future 
occasions. I’m thinking: an OSM(.be) banner in the background; flyers that 
explain OSM in a few words and that participants can take home; a way to 
identify the “coaches” (could be t-shirts, name tags,...);...

·Although the clips on tv do not mention OSM, we should be aware of 
their potential to attract more mappers. Just one idea (I’m sure there could be 
more): I guess the participating universities will be happy to spread a short 
report about Saturday to their students, including links to the clip and of 
course clearly mentioning OSM. This might be a way to reach a lot of people.

·And last but not least: Marc even managed to make the link from 
missing maps to local mapping in only ten seconds, what an achievement!

All in all, I think it’s fantastic we made it onto radio and television. I now 
even can explain to my mother-in-law why I spent a Saturday behind a computer. 
And I’m sure next time, we will get a few more details right.

Yes, Marc, you did great. I really liked the vrt clip actually.

At the VUB, we knew full well the VTM was coming, but I didn't think for a 
second about how we should shape their message. I did talk to them quite a bit, 
but they didn't ask to interview me. They did interview the professor, and that 
seemed good to me: one of "ours" and one of "theirs" having a prime time 
moment. How on earth they think Google has anything to do with the project - 
you can't imagine how people think, I guess.
Everything I heard sounded good to me at the time though. We had already seen 
the vrt clip, so honestly I was expecting them to do a copy-paste of that clip.

Anyway I don't think any of us expected exposure of this magnitude, so we never 
actually took a minute to think about it. Maybe of some more people would have 
joined the organization, someone would have thought of that :)

The reason VTM does show the Google Earth logo is probably that they have a 
standard setup they use everyday and they know they have to do that. They 
actually added that thing as the image at the tasking manager didn't cover all 
the area being mapped as it was split over three tasks.

As was said here, what has been aired has been aired. But I will send a message 
to Belga - they should do some decent fact checking if everyone else is just 
copy-pasting from them.

All in all a great learning opportunity for all of us I think - also in how we 
fail in reaching people who would potentially absolutely love us. As Jo said 
somewhere, it feels like 30 could have been 80 with more promotion. Then again 
200 mappers is incredible, IMHO.
