Sync error
I don't know if this problem involves TB! or not, but it happens when my Palm tries to sync with my TB! mail. In any event, perhaps someone here can help I have had no problems syncing my Palm and including my mail. I last synced earlier today, and the only change I know about in my system was copying a new .dll from TB! I don't think that's it, because I replaced the old one and the following problem still occurs: When I sync my Palm and it opens up TB!, which is the first thing it does, I receive the following error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error Program: C:\PALM\HOTSYNC.EXE abnormal program termination Does anyone here know what could be causing that problem, or what I can do to fix it? Not being familiar with the C++ Runtime Library, I'm not even sure whether a re-installation of Palm and HotSync, or a restoration from a backup, would do the trick. All help would be appreciated. Date math
Is there any way to do date subtraction via macros or Regex? For example, say there was a big meeting coming up and you wanted to mention it in your sig with something like: 23 Days till the Colorado Sales Summit! .BAT File
Hello, I have an Oracle8i client V 8.1.7 CD(for MapInfo) and I wonder if its possible to have a zip file and a registry add-on all installed by a .BAT file. So that people can simply click on the .BAT file to install the product. Please let me know how do I make the .BAT file from the CD as soon as you canI am very new to this type of work... It's quoted-printable encoding - in other words, all bytes are changed to =XX where XX is the byte's value in hex. if you see this, something clearly went wrong, but I don't know if the error is on the sender or on the recipient's side, if I can't see the whole MIME message. Btw. I typed in the hex values in an editor, and loaded into UniPad, a Unicode-enabled free, comprehensive editor, and they looked like Canadian aboriginal symbols. - -- Cheers, SyP Very funny, Scotty. utf-8 and Unicode
Hello The Bat! users, This is a re-send of a message sent yesterday. I didn't get a copy through the list and there were no responses. My apologies if it turns out to be a duplicate. I get sometimes get html messages in utf-8 encoded Unicode, which look like this when the source is viewed: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Dear David, =E1=93=82=E1=92=8B=E1=91=90=E1=91=95=E1=93=90 = =E1=90=83=E1=94=AA=E1=90=84=E1=92=A8=E1=93=90 = =E1=90=8A=E1=93=90=E1=91=95 What are we actually seeing here? Could someone explain in simple terms what The Bat! is doing to the Unicode and whether there is any way of correctly viewing the original message. I know there has been discussion on Unicode and double-byte characters in this forum. I seem to remember someone saying that you can recover the message by saving as .msg file and bringing it into Outlook. I tried bringing it in to Outlook Express (which does normally allow me to view utf-8 encoded Unicode messages), but am still unable to view the message correctly. Many thanks in advance for your help. -- Best regards, David mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v1.53d on Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 2 -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

Re: Address book -- multiple addresses
Yuki, > Is there a special syntax for adding multiple e-mail addresses to the > e-mail addresses box on the properties page? Not really but it can be done several ways and you have to figure which way you want to do it. As someone has said you can put them all into on address book entry (one per line) and the first one goes into the To field. What you can also do is create a new Group and enter each email contact as a new contact in that group. If you do this you can select the group and email to it, which will put everyone in the TO field, or you can open the group and add each one individually into the email and thus decide which address to send to. I can then email them all, or just one of them. You can also put one in the TO field and the others in the BCC, or CC, etc. I think The Bat even allows you to email to the "group" and have it make an email personal to each email address in the group. Look into the "Group" address system, as I think you'll find it quite powerful - though I've yet to use it. I was moving a 350+ user list to The Bat and first I put commas between them, then decided to put them on each line and then I read about this group thing and basically decided to leave it until I'd read up about it all, as messing about with 350+ email addresses had got me beat at the time :) Charles Collinson -- Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ: http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com

In current Beta-series the feature of selecting the address is implemented and since several versions working. In Address book right click the entry you're about to write a mail to and choose 'New' / 'Message to' (only present if multiple addresses are entered). If you already have the editor opened you can use the address book icon on the right side of 'To:', 'CC:' and 'BCC:' and right click the entry you want to add and choose 'Add address' (only present if multiple addresses are entered).
