Wish list for Tbat

2004-08-22 Thread Darrin Rich
Hello,

I think Ive stated this before, but Ill throw it in again. My
primary email client is M2 (Opera's Mail client) I go back and forth
between TB M2. The main thing I dislike about TB is primary use of
folders and secondary use of virtual folders. I think M2, bloomba
and others that are coming out with the concept of search folders or
virtual folders, whatever name you wish to call them have the right
idea. Im experimenting right now with Neo (Nelson Email Organizer)
add on for Outlook. http://www.emailorganizer.com/ this thing is
exactly the right idea. It makes mail management a breeze. But I wish
it had the ability for the use of macros like TB does. I just hope
that TB will improve the use of its virtual folders. I still think
regular folders are needed at times, but search views make it so
  much easier.
Sorry, Im just rambling on out of frustration. I feel better now :)

I agree it is superior in most cases. I do tend to go back and forth
between Thebat and Opera's M2. I absolutely love the way M2 organizes
its mail by views or search folders instead of individual folders. I
have 4-6 e-mail accounts active at a time and M2 is a breeze at
handling them. I do know that TB has virtual folders, but still not
the same. Thebats ability to use macros and customization with filters
is why I use TB. The closest other e-mail client that is starting to nail the
idea of mail management as M2 is Bloomba. Bloomba is still fairly new
and a little buggy, but its getting better. My ideal email account
would be a combination of TB M2. The mail management of M2 along with
the macros and customization of TB. Someone come up with this and Ill
be all over it :)

It must be the Inbox-known filter. I added my email address from
another account to the filter rules. I sent a test email to the
account with the color group filter. It picked it up and applied the
color. I then went and added my email address to the address book and
sent another test email. This time it does not apply the color. I cant
use the continue to process with other rules option because as I
stated it appears to uncheck every time I close the sorting office

I noticed neither one of them work. It appears because they are in my

are the problem. If disable the Inbox-known filter by uncheckecking

How to setup a filter to send back reply automatically?

2004-08-03 Thread Darrin Rich
Hello,

I upload files to a website weekly. I have a template made up that I
send to notify the organization when the files have been uploaded.
They then send me a reply email, which I would then like to send
a automated response to when I receive this email.

The email they reply to which is from my template, has the same
subject line everytime. So Im thinking that there must be a way to
set up a filter to send automatic reply to a email with a example
RE: Specific Subject in the subject line. Im unsure how to set
