This is probably being caused by having another header which has Date
in it (such as Resent-Date:, X-Date: etc).

If you change the regexp to

%SETPATTREGEXP="(?m-s)^Date\:\s*?((.*?[\d]{4})\s*?([\d]{0,2}\:[\d]{0,2}\:[\d]{0,2})\s*?(.*))"%REGEXPBLINDMATCH="%HEADERS"on

Note the ^ before the Date. This ties the finding of Date to the
start of the line.

If this does not solve the problem, can you please send a copy of the
full headers and we will look at it.

There certainly appears to be a number of inconsistencies in the
manner in which new messages are created. If you create using an
address book, some functionality works, such as secondary address in
BCC field which doesn't work in CTRL-N.

Fow example, if you use a nickname and hit tab in the TO: field it
expands it to the full email address. However if you have Nickname,
Nickname2 or full address, nickname the expansion doesn't work.

However, if you do Nickname1; nickname2 then TAB you get the expansion
but with a comma between the entries. The joys of using TB I suppose.

If copying to lots of folders is required, you could probably do this
by marking the outgoing message as a certain colour group and then
having multiple outgoing filters which are triggered by by that colour

I am a new TB user and am trying to get to grips with the powerful
REGEXP within templates.

I subscribe to a mailing list which always ends it mailings with a
non-standard signature. The format of this is as below:

- -=-=-=-
[ SOME TEXT ]
[ SOME MORE TEXT ]

I though that it would have been a relatively easy thing to set up
but am getting nowhere. I was thinking that the logic for the regexp
would be:

1) Take all the text of the message
2) Set everything up to the -=-=-=- as %SUBPATT0
3) Set (-=-=-=-\n\[.*\]\n\[.*\]\n) as %SUBPATT1

You could then set %QUOTES to the output of %SUBPATT0. This is what
I came up with:

one Line
%QUOTES="%SETPATTREGEXP=""(?is)((.*\n)*)(-=-=-=-\n\[.*\]\n\[.*\]\n)""%
REGEXPBLINDMATCH=""%TEXT""%SUBPATT=""0"""
/one line

This, however, gives me two copies of the text both with the
footer/signature in it ! I am sure that I am missing something
extremely obvious but I just can't see it.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hello Marck other fellow TB! Users following this thread,

Does anyone here know what sets this one off (double clicking on
it, presumably), what do it does (if one did that - both what one
would notice, and what wouldn't notice), and where do it does it?
