This happen sometimes if in the process of DNS Query the connection broke (due to system shutdown, run out of HDD space or any other reason). Other trick (to speed up the process) : delete the domain zone from old DNS Server or (better) set as Non Authoritive as soon as new DNS Server active, so any DNS Query for that domain will refer to ROOT Domain (InterNIC or Country-NIC). If it is set to a week with, say, a 5 day refresh they will use the cached data until they shut down their server, the refresh or expire happens. Generally when you move DNS it is good to inform the old DNS holder to lower the refresh/expire times to hours instead of days where it normally is. -- Steve C.
