Good idea! I still have Voyager 4.0.34 on my USB stick, and guess

So I have a temporary workaround now. Since nobody from Ritlabs has

Of course, the different TB! versions are on different computers
(office, home, uni), and I don't have all email on every computer, and
I keep forgetting to MIME-forward them. That's why I don't have a

None of the computers have Viewer Profiles set up. I tried that, but
it didn't help.

None of the computers has the XLAT table for TIS-620, but it displays

I don't know about your set-up, but in my situation I would try
this:

1) Add a new Virtual Folder and configure it to contain _all_
messages in your database.

2) Export all messages from this Virtual Folder into 1 big Unix
message file.

3) Delete all messages from Virtual Folder.

4) Install TB! version 4.0.xx over 4.2.x.

5) Import Unix file into the Inbox of re-installed 4.0.x

6) Refilter the Inbox manually, to return all messages to their
folders.

You should make a back-up before, and your mileage may vary, but to
me this seems to be the best method to avoid compatibility
problems.

That would be several GB big.

AdG 3) Delete all messages from Virtual Folder.

AdG 4) Install TB! version 4.0.xx over 4.2.x.

AdG 5) Import Unix file into the Inbox of re-installed 4.0.x

AdG 6) Refilter the Inbox manually, to return all messages to their
AdG folders.

That would be hours worth of manual work.

AdG You should make a back-up before, and your mileage may vary, but to
AdG me this seems to be the best method to avoid compatibility
AdG problems.

Have you tried the messages? Which TB! version are you using, and how
do they display on your side?

OK, I found it: The machine on which it works uses TB! v. 4.0.28.x.

Two machines who don't display Thai letters were using 4.1.x. I have
now upgraded one machine to the latest 4.2.x, but it still doesn't
work. :-(

I believe there is a problem downgrading? I would like to downgrade
one machine to 4.0.28 and see whether it works again. So far, it looks
like something was changed between 4.0.x and 4.1.x. By the way, the
subject lines still display correctly in the higher versions, but the
body doesn't.

TF display correctly. However, I found that XLAT table:
TF http://www.inet.co.th/cyberclub/trin/thairef/tis620-iso10646.html
TF http://www.inet.co.th/cyberclub/trin/thairef/tis-620.gif

TF How do I import this into TB!?

How do I import TIS-620? It's an important question, now that I have
started with my PhD, conducted in Thai language.

TF Having just started with my PhD studies, Thai language support in
TF emails is crucial for me and I will have to abandon TheBat! if it
TF doesn't work. As much as that would hurt my feelings.

I am attaching a sample email, which I can read on the machines
running 4.0.28.x but not on the ones with a later TB! version.

Options / Preferences / Viewer-editor / Profile Layout
First pick a Profile (Thai?)
Then you will see all kinds of items i.e Regular Text, background etc.
in a drop down. There is a font selection under that so you can set
the font for each and totally control that profile's layout

I hope that helps
