NOT DO HERO WORSHIP BUT DO APPRECIATE AND MOVE OFF TO YOUR JOB. Or else
they will run their films for profit and sell their books, whatever level

2024-06-02 Thread Rajaram Krishnamurthy
ADVICE FROM OLD PEOPLE // advice from young ones GRIN AND BEAR IT READERS’
DIGEST

1 The most important person in your life is the person who agreed to share
their life with you. Treat them as such. KR CONTRACT?

2 You might live a long life, or you might live a short one — who knows.
But either way, trust me when I say that you’re going to wish you took
better care of yourself in your youth. KR BUT NEVER ATTENDED IN
ENFORCING THAT DISCIPLINE?

3 Stuff is just stuff. Don’t hold onto material objects, hold onto time and
experiences instead. KRSO DON’T BUY ANYTHING?

4 Jealousy destroys relationships. Trust your significant other, because who
else are you supposed to trust? KR only one to trust and rest do not
trust?

5 People always say, “Make sure you get a job doing what you love!” But
that isn’t the best advice. The right job is the job you love some days,
can tolerate most days, and still pays the bills. Almost nobody has a job
they love every day. KR Somebody stole my quote; my father gave; written
many a times here; there are no phases; just love the job you do or quit
boldly

6 If you’re getting overwhelmed by life, just return to the immediate
present moment and savour all that is beautiful and comforting. Take a deep
breath, relax. KR Already breathing or else would have been dead

7 Years go by in the blink of an eye. Don’t marry young. Live your life. Go
places. Do things. If you have the means or not. Pack a bag and go wherever
you can afford to go. While you have no dependents, don’t buy stuff. Any
stuff. See the world. Look through travel magazines and pick a spot.
GO! KR
The older who advised said,” you take the back-pack and I shall give you a
lot of money to see places?

8 Don’t take life so seriously. Even if things seem dark and hopeless, try
to laugh at how ridiculous life is. KR What shall I do; When I get a job
yo say something; now you say the opposite; your advice is o confusing;
better stop advising.

9 A true friend will come running if you call them at 2am. Everyone else is
just an acquaintance. KR Why should one “come” without a purpose at 2 AM?
And is there no one at home at that time?

10 Children grow up way too fast. Make the most of the time you have with
them. KR Don’t you think, even without that they will grow up, may be
in a better way too?

11 Nobody ever dies wishing they had worked more. Work hard, but don’t
prioritize work over family, friends, or even yourself. KR Even without
working at any time, people will not die till that date sir. And that will
help to be with family all the time.

12 Eat and exercise like you’re a diabetic heart patient with a stroke — so
you never actually become one.KREven if you go gym right from your
birth, nonstop, still you will be diabetic and stroke while exercising may
attack. Pak fast bowler is diabetic.

13. Maybe this one isn’t as profound as the others, but I think it’s
important… Floss regularly, dental problems are awful. KR Flossing is
west cult and they also lose their teeth.

14. Don’t take anyone else’s advice as gospel. You can ask for advice from
someone you respect, then take your situation into consideration and make
your own decision. Essentially, take your own advice is my advice…KR
SO WHY DID YOU WASTE TIME SO LONG AND STILL CONTIUING AFTER THIS?

15. The joints you damage today will get their revenge later. Even if you
think they’ve recovered completely. TRUST ME! KR Then you will ask me to
read 1 again; Joint go useless by not using not because as you said

16. We have one time on this earth. Don’t wake up and realize that you are
60 years old and haven’t done the things you dreamed about. KR PAST IS
PAST PRESENT IS PRESENT AND FUTURE IS FUTURE; WHAT HAPPENED WAS GOOD; WHAT
IS GOING TO HAPPEN WILL ALSO BE GOOD.

17. Appreciate the small things and to be present in the moment. What do I
mean? Well, it seems today like younger people are all about immediate
gratification. Instead, why not appreciate every small moment? We don’t get
to stay on this crazy/wonderful planet forever and the greatest pleasure
can be found in the most mundane of activities. Instead of sending a text,
pick up the phone and call someone. Call your mother, have a conversation
about nothing in particular. Those are the moments to hold onto.KR
I CALLED MY MOTHER BUT SHE IS IN THE CLUB PHONE ON SILENT MODE WHAT TO DO?

18. Pay your bills and stay the hell out of debt. If I could have paid
myself all the money I’ve paid out in interest over the years, I’d be
retired already. KR SORRY FOR THAT MATTER, I CANNOT PAY YOUR DEBT SIR

19. If you have a dream of being or doing something that seems impossible,
try for it anyway. It will only become more impossible as you age and
become responsible for other people.   KR Thatha you are a bad person;
you want me to become a MLA in TN and get beaten up? Sarcastic Thatha

It starts with the assertion:-    "aanandam brahmano vidvaan."
It takes as a standard the happiness (aananadam) enjoyed by an ordinary human

arrests the society to fall back from principles is also seen in

Kripar, and so many were supposed to be appearing as dharmic; but their
affinity to clan, even if villainy, even if their women are raped. yet

Fw: Good Morning

2014-12-17 Thread 'Saibaba SV' via Thatha_Patty

Wake Up To The Light Of Day !!!

RULES FOR A GOOD DAY ..
TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK: If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if
someone is unkind...I will not respond in a like manner.  TODAY I WILL ASK GOD
TO BLESS MY ENEMY: If I come across someone who treats me harshly or
unfairly, I will quietly ask God to bless that individual. I understand the
enemy could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker, or a stranger.  TODAY I
WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY:

I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread
gossip.  TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE: I will find ways to help share the
burden of another person.  TODAY I WILL FORGIVE:

I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way.

A short walk is so difficult,
when no one walks with you.
But a long journey is just like few steps
when you walk with someone
who loves and cares for you.

We always look and care for the person
whom we love the most.
But we fail to look back at those
who love us the most.

Death’s not the greatest loss in life..
The greatest loss is when
relationships die inside us while
we are still alive...

Life is not about the people
who act true on your face..
Its about the people who
remain true behind your back..

Time decides whom you meet in life…
Your heart decides whom you want in life..
but your behavious decides
who will stay in your life...

You can win life by all means..
