Re: [U2] Dynamic Connect - Mousing
Bill This is an issue that is also present in the current wIntegrate version (the basis for the DC product). I understand that it is due to an interaction between WINTEG (DC) and the Aero interface of Vista and Win7. Has your boss changed PCs or upgraded OS recently? Re: [U2] Dynamic Connect - Mousing
Hi Bill This is a problem with Wintegrate and DC on Vista and Windows 7. I believe Rocket is looking at this, but you should make a support call to Rocket on this. If you use Windows 7, you could run DC through the xp virtual mode. You could try running DC in xp compatible mode in windows 7 and see if that works. Well, I tried to make it very simple. I made a clone of one of our primary files with a sample of 200 records. I then built the records with just 5 attributes. One of them has mulitvalues. An important user here (my boss) likes to use the mouse to move around our green screen applications. Although I have tried to discourage this type of mouse use, he asked me to find the answer. He tells me that this worked at one time. It is not clear to me if I changed our applications or if there were pertinent changes in subsequent releases of DC. When he does things like copy and paste say a six-digit part number such as 101234... When he pastes it, some screens will come back with 10?1234. Of course some screen validate keystroke entries such as... Read the first character of the PN and require it to be a "1" or a "3". Fixes would be appreciated. --Bill ___ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
[U2] VSG view question
Hi All, I installed the VSG software onto our HPUX UniData machine and generated my first view. This is meant for an external vendor to be able to import daily sales. I cannot find much in the way of documentation but with the help that I got last week I was able to run VSG and create the view. When I told our vendor that she could get the data from the view she told me that it is not readable by her. She was expecting a flat-file or cleat text file. This is neither. Obviously, I am missing something more. Can anyone help me or guide to with an example? Thanks, Bruce ___ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
