[Bug 1917349] Re: QTerminal "drop down" closes if you move it or click outside the text entry field.

2021-03-01 Thread Lyn Perrine
Have you tried pressing the key for the drop down f12 by default. I
think the way a drop down mode is intended to work is it automatically
hides itself if it loses focus. If you want qterminal not to do this
press the lock button on the upper left side or is the lock button not
working for you?

[Bug 1821433] [NEW] On Lubuntu 19.04 K3b does nto add extension to save a file.

2019-03-23 Thread Lyn Perrine
Public bug reported:

To reproduce on lubuntu 19.04 open k3b start a data project insert a
disc and add projects to a file to save to burn later. I saved the file
with the file save dialog. The file and an extension will not be added
automatically but without it will not open in k3b without manaully
setting the program to open on the particular file. A workaround is to
manually add the extension after the file.

I expected to be able to open the file I saved in k3b in the file open dialog
in k3b. Since it has no extension it cannot be easily opened by users. It
cannot even open it in a file manager with the menu a right click in pcmanfm-qt
unless I manually add the program from the list of all programs in pcmanfm-qt.

To reproduce Boot the Lubuntu 19.04 live session in a kvm vm iso and

  no way to input text.

I wanted to use the keyboard to pass trhough in a windowed mode text to

only able to input text with the onboard virtual keyboard. I can move
the mouse and was only able to get the bug filed through appport by
- installing the onbaord onscreen keyboard.
+ installing the onbaord onscreen keyboard. I do not have this behavior on

Have you tried restarting LXQt panel that should probably do the trick as a
better workaround.

[Bug 1797478] [NEW] lximage-qt segfaults opening a png file

2018-10-11 Thread Lyn Perrine
Public bug reported:

I expected a picture to open instead I got a segementation fault and the

[Bug 1756944] [NEW] pcmanfm-qt crashes when opening ~/.dbus in detailed list view

I expected that pcmanfm would have both the same behavior in detailed list view

should not crash.

[Bug 1753782] Re: File Properties window size truncates longer paths

2018-03-15 Thread Lyn Perrine
I also get this on xenial and have made it a bit clearer to read.

** Description changed:

+ To reproduce in pcmanfm on lubuntu open /usr/share/include/lxappearance
+ or another similally long file.
+
  (pcmanfm package v. 1.2.5-3ubuntu1 /artful)
  Expected: all fields are readable.
The problem: the window is too narrow to display a path not in the shortest
branches of /bin/, /lib/, etc. and is neither auto-resizing nor resizeable.
While "Location" field can be seen in columns, it's also impossible to read
"Target File" field for symlinks.

Also, is there any practical reason at all to fix its size?

Can you attach your ~/.config/qterminal.org/qterminal.ini file to this bug
report?

Are you saying this does not exist in your GUI or that it is broken?

I am seeing a checkbox but I want to be sure of what you are trying to
report.

The fedora.png does not look entirely right either. I also get this with
18.04 in LXQt.

[Bug 1736809] [NEW] server iso does not install a kernel and fails to install

2017-12-06 Thread Lyn Perrine
Public bug reported:

Try to install the ubuntu server iso from December 5th using the entire
disk. Since debian installer does not allow me to use apport when it is
running and not installed. This is different than the error message I
see when installing amd 64 in bug 1736309 which I was trying to confirm
not sure if they are related and fail in different ways.

I have attached log files in a tar as I cannot use apport as the busybox
shell as it will go command not found.

[Bug 1736231] Re: panel in lubuntu-qt-session is not populated

2017-12-05 Thread Lyn Perrine
Well If I add applets to the panel they become after the first login but
I will need to strace a new user. So that supports what alf is saying.

[Bug 1736231] [NEW] panel in lubuntu-qt-session is not populated

2017-12-04 Thread Lyn Perrine
Public bug reported:

Log into an install of lubuntu-next and then there are no applets in the panel
it is just a black bar. lubuntu-default-settings:
  Installed: 0.50
  Candidate: 0.50
  Version table:
 *** 0.50 500
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Description:Ubuntu Bionic Beaver (development branch)
Release:18.04

I expected to login to lubuntu next with a menu on the left a taskbar and at
least a clock. Instead lubuntu-next had no applets on it so new users could be
completely confused on how to launch any application.
