[Bug 355846] Re: audacity stops recording after about a second when using software play-through
In the beta version of Audacity, this only happens to me in overdub. In other words, I can record one track, but as soon as I start recording another one it doesn't work. I have to turn off overdub for it to work, but then I can't listen to the previous track while recording the new one. I fixed this problem by setting both the playback and recording devices to the USB device that I'm using (as opposed to USB for input and computer for output), as suggested here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Troubleshooting_Recordings#Overdubbed_recording_drifts_out-of-sync.2C_or_produces_error_or_poor_quality. However, when I recorded the second track it was all stuttered (you can even tell it's stuttered by looking at the waveform). I'm guessing that it's running out of memory or something, I'll have a play around Ubuntu 10.04 Audacity 1.3.12 -- audacity stops recording after about a second when using software play-through https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355846 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 549727] Re: [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login
I upgraded from Ubuntu 9.10 to Ubuntu 10.04. The touchpad worked fine for a while, but then odd things started happening. Occasionally I would get this problem where the right-click would stop working, then only the left click would work but I could only click on certain things (I couldn't open the applications menu with left-click). At the same time this happens, my keyboard becomes unresponsive, and the problem would only go away if I turned off the power. But then these problems started occurring soon after I logged in. Now my touchpad only works for a couple of seconds after I've logged in. I'm not sure if all these bugs are related, but I thought I'd mention them just in case. I'm using an HP Pavilion dv9650 laptop. -- [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549727 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 549727] Re: [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login
Ok, I figured out that those problems only occurred after I pressed the touchpad on/off button. If I press this button, the keyboard becomes unresponsive and for some reason I can't do anything except left-click on tasks in the taskbar using the mouse (the applications menu doesn't open even whether I click on it or press alt+f3). The thing in #42 works, but if I press the touchpad on/off button then everything stops working, so I can't turn off the touchpad when I don't want to use it. -- [10.04] Touchpad stops working after login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/549727 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have the same problem on an HP Pavilion dv9560 laptop. However, when I press the touchpad on/off button, not only does the keyboard become unresponsive but I can no longer access the applications menu (whether I left-click on it with my mouse or press alt+f3). Also, when using my mouse after the problem occurs, right-click doesn't do anything, and the only things I can left-click on are on the taskbar.
