[Bug 235101]
Comment on attachment 8965427 make-ab-view-text-selectable.patch Yes, everything can be selected. But I think it makes not much sense to select the whole pane as the output isn't well formed to use directly. [Bug 1901089] Re: Ubuntu kernels 5.4.0-51 and 5.4.0-52 break ir-keytable loading
@tom-horsley It's alright. Glad to see I'm not the only one with this "wonky" state. Hard term to search on. I just retested on: ``` Linux 5.8.0-55-generic #62~20.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jun 2 08:55:04 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux ``` ... this morning and it still repeats. Please make sure to add to the "bug heat" icon at the top of this page so it gets addressed sooner. And add yourself to the "affects me" list too at the top of this bug. It's a little confusing on all the replies here on exactly which kernel has fixed the IR and when it will land in an apt release so drudging merrily forward. :) I've temporarily worked around by using a RF media remote for the time being but I really miss the IR remote features I've assigned. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901089 Title: Ubuntu kernels 5.4.0-51 and 5.4.0-52 break ir-keytable loading To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1901089/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Created attachment 9223784 562977-progressmeter-statusbar.patch This approach uses our colours to paint the progressmeter to also better fit with our themes. [Bug 1901089] Re: Ubuntu kernels 5.4.0-51 and 5.4.0-52 break ir-keytable loading
Haven't fully tracked this issue in all kernels updated via apt but: Kernel 5.4.0-51 Kernel 5.4.0-52 Kernel 5.4.0-65 Kernel 5.8.0-44 Kernel 5.8.0-49 Kernel 5.8.0-53 ... all still have this issue. [Bug 1347305]
This looks already promising. I think -moz-mac-vibrancy-light is mostly used on sidebars, or not? It makes the header part again different from content, which isn't the goal of this bug. I think first we should do it without vibrancy. Here some feedback: - The header background color should be picked from the defined content background color. This can be set in Preferences/Display/Formatting/Colors.../Background (editor.background_color). Else when a user changes this color the header would differ in his background color. And unfortunately in HTML compose mode, msgcompose.background_color needs to be checked. But this could be a different kind because the user can change this color during editing, and should we then also change the header background color? - The aw-menulist is lacking a hint to be a menulist. A dropdown arrow on the left should be shown as a minimum. - The msgIdentity dropmarker is so far away on the right from the address. What about including the From: label into the menulist and move the dropmarker to the left directly above the aw-menulist dropmarker? The two last notes can be reverted with bug 440377. A tip: For selecting the text/border colors in the header you could also use the toolbar[brighttext] ... selector to switch between dark and light colors. Actually it's only used on Windows but it is working on all platforms. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1347305 Title: Address fields are grey when composing messages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/1347305/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 567480]
I get multiple requests for the master password - Thunderbird 16.02 - Lightning 1.8 - SOGo-Connector 10.0.3 - Windows 7 It looks as if there is a pop-up for every mail-account. If I type in the master password on the i.e. third pop-up, only the mail in the third account and above are fetched. If I close all the additional pop-ups until the first one (the one hidden behind the main window, see below) then everything works as expected. Another annoying behavior is that the first pop-up window is at the bottom of the window stack, even behind the main window. I would like it to be the top-most. In my opinion, the original bug might be solved, but there is another popping up ;-) Othmar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/567480 Title: Double simultaneous password request To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunderbird/+bug/567480/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: As it stands, libguestfs-tools has hard dependency on lots of file system tools: % sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends libguestfs-tools [...] The following NEW packages will be installed: augeas-lenses btrfs-tools cryptsetup febootstrap jfsutils libaugeas0 libconfig8 libguestfs-perl libguestfs-tools libguestfs0 libhivex0 libintl-perl libstring-shellquote-perl libsys-virt-perl libwin-hivex-perl libxml-xpath-perl ntfsprogs scrub zerofree zfs-fuse However, as far as I can tell, these are technically recommended dependencies -- libguestfs just doesn't support certain file systems if the relevant package is not installed. The most annoying of these is zfs-fuse, which insists on starting a hefty daemon by default -- even though most people in a Linux environment don't want to deal with ZFS file systems. zfs-fuse doesn't even provide any libraries, so it doesn't make sense as a hard dependency. Martin Pitt has stated in his blog that "As usual, 9.0 will be provided as official backports for both Debian and Ubuntu", so I opened this ticket to stay updated of the progress. http://www.piware.de/2010/09/postgresql-9-0-rc1-available-for-testing/ Thanks! ** Affects: postgresql (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: postgresql-9.0 (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #597634 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=597634 ** Also affects: postgresql-9.0 (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=597634 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Please backport PostgreSQL 9.0.x to Lucid and Meerkat https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/660572 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 574665] Re: kvm + virtio disk corrupts large volumes (>1TB).
@Kendall: I wouldn't be surprised, there have been lots of disk corruption bugs in the 0.12 series and the qemu-kvm project obviously has problems with project management (bug reports being ignored, poor QA etc). Anyway, see: http://www.linux-kvm.com/content/qemu-kvm-0125-released-bugfixes http://www.linux-kvm.com/content/qemu-kvm-0124-released This is the reason why I've postponed the upgrade of my VM servers from Karmic until now. Hopefully 0.12.5 has fixed all of the block device corruption bugs. -- kvm + virtio disk corrupts large volumes (>1TB). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574665 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 545966] Re: [lucid] ubiquity/partman creates a partition table that cfdisk cannot read
So if cfdisk cannot read a partition table that's 1MiB-aligned, then surely it's a cfdisk bug, not the installer? This also explains why cfdisk fails with disks formatted in Windows Vista. ** Also affects: util-linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [lucid] ubiquity/partman creates a partition table that cfdisk cannot read https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/545966 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have the same problem with the Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) and Ubuntu10.04. Indeed, that package fixes the file descriptor leak.
