[Bug 408615] Re: libasound_module_conf_pulse.so is missing from lib32asound-plugins
2 Søren Holm, I think today I had this partial-dist-upgrade which replaced libasound2 packages so I guess until 2 weeks ago you have used older version of that package which included the libasound_module_conf_pulse.so. in windows partitions (which is flexible) i can create partition in any name and can be monitored or analysed for usage or representation/navigation style is also more user friendly. friend the above one is a problem but my real problem is that during the installation of ubuntu 9.04 i partitioned and formated nearly onethird of the hdd capacity in ext3 file system and the mount point was given(typed, as it wasn't in the list) as 'backup'. I created one partition as 'User' and another one as 'Home' . apart from root and swap. in my system winxp is loaded in the primary partition c:. d and e are ntfs and fat32 formated partitions. after installation of Ubuntu , i can see but cannot use the partition 'backup'. as it is in ext3 it cannot be used from win xp either. more over it would be useful if some tips were shown about mount points during partitioning. such as if u create a separate home partition ur data will not be lost if u reload/reinstall Linux again, etc, etc. i like free areas like in win xp. [Bug 419176] [NEW] Pulseaudio crashes with illegal hardware instruction
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio This is on an up to date karmic with pulseaudio 1:0.9.16~test6-3-g57e1-0ubuntu1. Re: [Bug 417998] Re: Internet adress in panel is not changing, control buttons are blank
I don't use any extensions with firefox, right now i cannot create new profile (i am not by the computer). Another interesting thing is, that my settings (bookmarks and other) are saved in firefox (run as root) but not asnormal user. 2009/8/26 Micah Gersten launch...@micahscomputing.com Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. Sometimes Firefox profiles can become corrupt and/or extensions can conflict. Could you please try this with a new profile and see if the problem still exists? [Bug 330272] Re: mythbackend silently fails with QSqlQuery::exec: empty query
The error which i get are similar in format to Kyle's. It seems to happen mostly in the middle of the night but it has been happening for some time, around the time that it was first reported by Kyle. It is only recently that it seems to be getting far more frequent. Background to my mythtv setup: I have been running mythtv for a couple of years now, initially using the packages that came with ubuntu, then moving to the weekly builds from mythbuntu. I have a remote frontend and the backend sits on a private subnet. EIT is used to collect the radio information only on DVB-T. Tuner card is a Hauppauge Nova-T 500. The issue always seems to occur when the backend _appears_ to be idle, but perhaps it is actually doing some housekeeping or something in the background? I am reluctant to start using 0.22 and wait for the bug to occur as we record things daily and any database backup will quickly be out of date. For now I will try alistair's trick of turning off the jobqueue thread, and if that doesn't work, try running backend with --nohousekeeping also. -- mythbackend silently fails with QSqlQuery::exec: empty query https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330272 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 369110] Re: gmdb2 (mdb viewer) crash on Jaunty
I'd advise against installing/replacing any system files with an unknown attachment. Since Lir has provided the link to a debian.org archive, trying that would be less than ideal but if it works for you, so be it. I installed gmdb2 and couldn't reproduce the problem with several different .mdb files. @Gianfilippo, can you provide an example file that lets us reproduce the problem ? ** Changed in: mdbtools (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete ** Changed in: mdbtools (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Fabián Rodríguez (magicfab) -- gmdb2 (mdb viewer) crash on Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/369110 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 419182] [NEW] Windows 7 can not find driver for es1370 card

[Bug 419185] [NEW] DCP135C: Displaced print / edges cut
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cups I'm using Brother DCP135C printer with Intrepid (9.04). Printout of OpenOffice documents is shifted about 1/4'' to the left and 3/4'' to the top. In the result the upper and the left edge are cut. Tried to fix in system-config-printer 1.1.3. Test printout shows the same result. Cross checked with openSuSe 11.1 DCP135C installation: printout in SuSe correct and unshifted. Comparison shows different Imageable Area settings: Page SizeLower-Left Upper-Right Resolution Ubuntu8.26x11.69 0.0x0.0 8.26x11.69 720x720 Suse7.87x11.3 0.19x0.19 8.06x11.49 600x600 verified ppd-file and both are identical (except page size setting, but this is not the problem in this case).
