Hi All, I use my TV for the display of Jivelite on my Pi2B, I have done this for a good few years now without trouble until now. Now if I select the input on the TV while the Pi is booting all works fine until I change inputs on the TV. If I change the input on the TV to another when I come back to the Pi input my TV says "No Signal" "Not connected" This is a relatively new problem and was working fine until an upgrade (clean install) to pCP 8.0 or 8.1, not sure which TBH I have uncommented "config_hdmi_boost=4" in config.txt Code: # uncomment to increase signal to HDMI, if you have interference, blanking, or # no display config_hdmi_boost=4 but makes no difference, has anyone any ideas ? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce: piCorePlayer 8.0.0
Have clean installed pCP V8.0.0 on RPI 3B+ x 2 1st with RPI touchscreen, all is great including JL. Thanks ! 2nd with HDMI output to TV (Video only Audio via HifiBerry DAC) All works fine until I install JL, when the system boots I see the JL splash screen and then nothing, no JL Setup page With pCP versions before 7(?) I had to manually set the framebuffer Resolution to 1920x1080 in config.txt With V7 and V8 I set Res via WEB GUI I checked that the config.txt was being edited by the GUI and it is. Hi Ralphy, I have now tried 6.0.0 Standard (Thanks :D ) The behaviour is exactly the same with the default ir codes and the SB3 remote, it is also the same with my custom keytable the only difference is scancode 0x6e1d = KEY_S (0x1f) rather than KEY_ESC (0x01) I noticed that with the screen connected I have to press KEY_RIGHT at least twice fast to switch "On" JL I also tried the Justboom IR this behaves the same as the SB3 remote, IE Only flashes "On" briefly when the power button is pressed. It started out as a test bed for the radio firmware changes > I've been working on to shake down aac support and I ended up preferring > it. Hi Ralphy, I was playing with ir-keytables the other night to help out diode84 in creating/using a conf file I was a little rusty on this so was using a system with Jivelite but no touchscreen (My Lounge Player) and monitoring using ssh (sudo ir-keytable -t) Once I had got what I needed to answer the question I thought I'd tryout the power button on the remote after peterw's post. On this system the power button on the remote does indeed toggle the power on and off, this system uses a custom ir conf file (for my B119A remote). I reloaded the defualt conf file and the power still toggled (with my SB3 remote) This was odd as I've never been able to do this on my Bedroom system which has a RPi Touch Screen (With pCP 6.0 anyway, I have a memory that it may have worked on earlier versions but not sure, maybe lirc ?) This morning I took my Bedroom system and burned a new 6.0.0 RC1 (Audio) SD card, setup Jivelite and IR-Keytables and voila the power button did NOT toggle the power The screen flashes briefly but nothing else, I connected an LED to GPIO 13 and set up "Power On/Off GPIO" the LED flashed but never stays on when using the power button however quickly the button is pressed. If I use KEY_RIGHT the screen comes on and remains on, the LED remains lit (Power is On) I then removed the ribbon cable from the TS. After this the power button DOES toggle the power/screen/LED When I recconnect the TS the original behaviour comes back. Could this be related to the problem noted here ? https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103330-Jivelite-for-piCorePlayer=972816=1#post972816 This also seems to depend on the connection of a touchscreen Jeff *Players:* SliMP3,Squeezebox3 x3,Receiver,SqueezeLite-X,PiCorePlayer x3 *Server:* LMS Version: Latest Nightly on Centos 8.0 VM on ESXi 6.5.0U3 on Dell T320 *Plugins:* AutoRescan/BBCiPlayer/PowerSave/PowerSwitchIII/Squeezecloud/Spotty/Player Groups *Remotes:* iPeng9/Orangesqueeze/PC/Jivelite/SqueezeLite-X *Music:* 522GB,1.5K albums with 25K songs by 5K artists mostly FLACs *Want a webapp ?* See http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?104305-Webapp-for-LMS Jeff07971's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49290 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112112 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
