Well folks: I have wanted to go fishing ever since my last trip out LOL.. It's 18 degrees here right now, with a wind-chill in the single digits. So, I'm going fishing in my boat, in my shorts, in a tee shirt, and in flip flops...Last time I did this, I caught a box of frozen fish sticks... For me not wearing my glasses helps the most. I like to use spiderweb thread, try using body feather fibers for herl. I regular tie down to #32. We have about 5 of snow. It this area, that is a lot. For those that have been to my house, you know about the mile hill. We are snowed in. For months the river has been high with the dam releasing a lot of water. The coldest days that we have had, they have shut down in the mornings adding insult to injuries. Looking at low water when the temps are in the teens is not too inviting, at least not at my age.. ahh come on, let's do a#28, #30 or #32 swap, if somebody will host a small number of tyers(10 or less) I'll tye BobH I've never hosted a swap, so it's about time I do. Limit: First 10 tyers (including me, that makes 11) but you only tie 10 flies. NO increase. TEN. MAXIMUM FLIES: Ten size 28, 30 or 32 flies (if you want one of your own, you can tie another for yourself and keep it). Flies are due to me by February 15. (Short time - 6 weeks) Flies not here by then will be returned.
