Re: teamviewer on the iPad
Well, I tried out Splashtop as well, and it gives me the same problem. Makes me wonder if instead of the apps, it could be a problem with the keyboard I have. It came as part of a keyboard case, but is detachable. I ended up not liking the case because it adds so much bulk, but the keyboard is nice for when I need it, has decent travel especially being as thinn as it is. Seems to be like a fake magic keyboard, butt thinner. But since it’s made for iPad, maybe it just won’t do the job. After trying out two different apps, I am starting to think that maybe the apps aren’t the problem. Or, just about any remote desktop app will have this same problem. Hoping to hear back from the seller soon, to see if therre is something that can be done. I’ve seen some keyboards like this that have a hot key to switch between different layouts for different operating systems. Perhaps if that is possible with this keyboard, there might be hope. Will keep you all posted, as I’m pretty sure I can’t be the only one to have ever needed this. You have to enable them. However, that does not seem to be possible with the iPad OS app. I could be missing something, but for now I am quite stumped. If anyone has an idea, it will be most welcome. I would try out the other service mentioned a few messages ago, but $100 is a bit much right now after already having made the big investment of a down payment on the iPad plus a keyboard case. Re: Resetting a used iPhone?
Hi Ann, No, you need your friend's email address and password. This is the ones for their Apple ID. Maybe if you tell them that, it will help. They could even reset their Apple ID password so they'd know what it is. I don't know if your friend could get any help by contacting Apple, but it might be worth a try if they can't reset their Apple ID password. I just checked, and after you are in the Mini player, and double tap on the title, the Track Position slider appears above the title I just re-installed the Apple Podcast app to check out any changes. Re: The Otter box Case and iPhone 8 question
Hi, Debby! I have an Otter Box case on my phone and I have no trouble with it. In fact, i like it because when I’m walking around the house, I clip the Otter Box to my clothing and it stays without falling off. Hope this helps. By the way, it has a covering over it so that it really protects the iPhone. I don’t know if it’s waterproof, but I don’t want to find out! Haha! Re: AirPods Pro
Hi, Terri, Thanks for the explanation. You know how the saying goes: You learn something new every day. You know, I think back about what my Dad told me when I graduated from college way back in the mid-‘60s: He said, “Never stop learning!” I think if he were alive today, he’d be proud of what I’ve accomplished in my life. I’m almost 75 and still heed his words. I love technology and I’ll use it as long as I can! Take care.
