Feel free to record that demo and share it with us all if you'd like.
Sounds like several of us are interested in knowing how to do this.

The only way I know of to accomplish what you want is to import the M4R file
into GarageBand on your iPhone. Then you can share it as a ringtone and it will
show up in your ringers and alerts. That is the only way I have been able to
put M for our files into my ringtones and alerts.

Re: Using files as ring tones without iTunes

2022-03-30 Thread Earle
The only way I know of to accomplish what you want is to import the M4R file
into GarageBand on your iPhone. Then you can share it as a ringtone and it will
show up in your ringers and alerts. That is the only way I have been able to
put M for our files into my ringtones and alerts.

Re: help with sleep app!

I was accessing everything from my phone, not my actual watch.
So if you open the watch app on your phone, then you will see everything I
pointed out.

Hi Kay,

Try the Full schedule option. Maybe that's the button that opens the schedule
screen.

 Hello,

You can turn off all the Sleep features at once in the Health app. Choose
Sleep, then Sleep Schedule. I have it off at the moment, so I'm not sure
exactly where it is, but I believe that right under the Your Schedule
heading is a Sleep Schedule button that opens a screen with a toggle at
the top that will turn it off. This turns off Wind-Down, the alarm, and
 all the rest of it.

The best way of getting to sleep is through the watch app on your phone.

Open up the watch app and just swipe until you get to sleep.. It is quite
a bit down the list, so do not give up.
After double tapping on sleep, there is a couple of things I will point
out on the next screen.

First, there is a toggle button that says, track sleep on this watch. You
might want to turn that off if you no longer want to track your sleep.

Then near the end of that screen you will see, Open sleep options in
health button. Just double tap that button and it will open the health app
on the exact page that you are looking for.

When the health app opens, the first thing on that page is a toggle switch
for the sleep schedule. Just double tap it to turn it off.

  Hope this helps.

I have just noticed that in iOS 15, the two finger double tap to start and stop

has a ping sound. Did the ping sound on the iPhone get replaced by a haptic

Re: help with sleep app!

2022-03-30 Thread Chris Chaffin

The best way of getting to sleep is through the watch app on your phone.

Open up the watch app and just swipe until you get to sleep.. It is quite a bit
down the list, so do not give up.
After double tapping on sleep, there is a couple of things I will point out on
the next screen.

First, there is a toggle button that says, track sleep on this watch. You might
want to turn that off if you no longer want to track your sleep.

Then near the end of that screen you will see, Open sleep options in health
button. Just double tap that button and it will open the health app on the
exact page that you are looking for.

When the health app opens, the first thing on that page is a toggle switch for
the sleep schedule. Just double tap it to turn it off.

Hope this helps.

Chris

  Hello,

You can turn off all the Sleep features at once in the Health app. Choose
Sleep, then Sleep Schedule. I have it off at the moment, so I'm not sure
exactly where it is, but I believe that right under the Your Schedule
heading is a Sleep Schedule button that opens a screen with a toggle at the

Using files as ring tones without iTunes

2022-03-30 Thread Gordon
So I use the HQ record app and it will allow you to save a file as a
ring tone which intern saves the file as an m4r enabling you to use it
as a ring tone. However when I go into sounds and alerts, it's not
listed there to be selected. But I do see it when I go into the files
app under the HQ recorder folder. How to you choose to use that
particular file as a ring tone on your iPhone? I thought you could do
this without having to have iTunes and adding it that way.

help with sleep app!

2022-03-30 Thread Kay Malmquist
hi all,
A few days ago, I decided to play around with the sleep app. I turned it on
and set things and all was fine. I adjusted sleep times and wake times and
saw that wind down was available. Neat little app. Well, I decided that I
don't want to use it now and I want to shut it off. There appears to be no
nice and concise way to shut it off. you can turn this and that off, and
even then you still hear from wind down time and oh lord, the wake up alarm
with its lovely piano music still assaults me at 7 in the blessed AM. Even
in the Health app there is no way to shut things off. I have found in the
watch app on my phone, under sleep, don't use sleep on this watch. But when
you try to use that, it tells you that all schedules and whatever else will
be erased. Is there any way to shut this annoying thing off, or is this the
only option? Please help me. I am more sleep deprived than I already was.
I was just thinking that there would be an easy way to shut it down without
losing everything. The sleep app on the watch has four pages that don't
seem to change anything. Any help is massively appreciated.
