Same here. It sounds really interesting but I'm having a devil of a time
getting the hang of it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you, Jenny. I had the double tap part figured out, but the holding and
dragging eluded me. Hopefully, this will make the game easier to play. Also,
thank you for the reminder about descending order. My initial instinct is to
move in ascending order which is not correct.

Hi Shannon,

To move a card in King's Corner, double-tap on the card you would like to move
and hold the second tap. Then, still holding that second tap, drag the card on
top of the stack you wish to move it to. If the move you are attempting to
make is a valid one, you should hear the name of the top card in that stack
announced. If the move is not valid however, you will hear nothing. One quick
note--you mentioned as an example, moving a 2 on top of an Ace. Just be
sure that your stacks are moving in a descending order, such as a Red Ace on
top of a Black 2, etc. Hope this helps, and have fun! I love this game, it's
one of my favorites. :-)

Re: Help with King's Corner

2012-12-16 Thread Shannon Dyer
Thank you, Jenny. I had the double tap part figured out, but the holding and
dragging eluded me. Hopefully, this will make the game easier to play. Also,
thank you for the reminder about descending order. My initial instinct is to
move in ascending order which is not correct.

No problem. Just thought I would mention it, as I could just see you chunking
your i-Device across the room because it won't move your card on to the stack
you want. LOL It's what I would do anyway. It used to be more natural for me
to go in ascending order too, so I understand. Once you have played it
successfully for a while, it will become second-nature to go in descending
order instead. And watch those sneaky reds and blacks. :-)

Re: Help with King's Corner

2012-12-16 Thread Shannon Dyer
I seem to be unable to move cards properly. I tried to move a black queen onto
a red king. I just needed to move it one slot to the right. I double tapped and
held and tried to move the card. I heard nothing. I tried moving other cards
just as an experiment. Nothing would go on top of anything. It could be placed
before, after, or between. Never on top. Also, left is the only way I can move
anything. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
