Good, that finally worked this time.  I had tried that before after asking 
about this on this list some time ago, but for some reason I was having trouble 
getting the rotor to the right place to accomplish it.

In BARD Mobile, choose the bookshelf from which you want to delete books, such 
as Audio Books. Choose Edit. Touch the book you want to delete, flick up or 
down to Delete, and double-tap. When you have deleted all the books you want 
to, choose the Done button, which is where the Edit button was.

It depends on the app. With the music app, you can delete individual albums and 
songs. Most apps give you the option to delete all the data, the whole app, or 
both. Double-tap the app you're interested in and see what the options are.
