Hi Rose, I've got two JB keyboards here I can't seem to find. You said go to settings, general, keyboard, keyboards. Can you explain further? I have no keyboards button inside keyboard under Settings/General. Sorry. Once you're in the keyboard section, you should see a place where you can tell ios what language keyboards you want selected. English, Spanish, French, etc. All you should have selected here is English, unless you speak another language. Tap the English button, since the octopus is an English keyboard. Sorry if this is too vague. I gave a button in that section a different label and I can't seem to get the original button back. Anyway, poke around in that English section until you see different software keyboard layouts. One of them will be qwerty. Another should be the octopus layout. Interesting. Perhaps the keyboard needs to be activated another way? I don't recall any keyboard I've used needing to be activated another way. Have you tried selecting the emogy keyboard you saw? Unless you know that's the name of another keyboard you installed, it might just be that the octopus keyboard isn't labeled properly. Wish I could be of more help, but I'm not currently Jailbroken. As part of the description of this app, it says the word suggestions appear above the different character keys. I'm assuming this means that if you type for example, a word beginning with the letter a, you will get words associated with that key showing up above the key. This is easy enough to understand but are these suggestions announced by voiceover? Also, as far as activating the app, it has some directions on how to turn it on after purchasing it in the app's description area of cydia. As I just started using fleksy, I thought it'd be neat to also test this one out but wasn't sure how well it would work with VO. Any info would be great. Take care. Wow, this definitely looks like something similar to what Fleksy is doing. It makes me wonder that if the Fleksy devs wanted to, they could incorporate the app as a keyboard choice for jailbreakers. One of the reasons some developers pulled their apps from the Apple App Store was because Apple wouldn't let them go beyond the Apple-approved method of writing code from what I understand. -- Raul A.
