RE: siri opening apps
I'm still getting the unpredictability primarily with opening apps. I've found that if I go into Settings, General and turn Siri off and back on again, she'll successfully open the app the next time I ask her. This is a pain to have to do and it doesn't seem to stick before she'll be back to saying "I don't see that app on your device" or some such thing. I'm not convinced it's an iOS version issue either but I sure wish I could figure out what causes this and come up with a workaround. Thanks, Cher. I'll make sure I have all my playlists created before moving to iTunes 12 but I'm sure I'll come across many missing iTunes 11 features I'll lament after I take the plunge. Re: siri opening apps
I've been getting this Siri unprefictibility a lot lately especially where opening apps and calling contacts is concerned. I am running Ios 8.3 on an iPhone 6 but I'm skeptical that the iOS version has anything to do with it. As Sieghard said, sometimes siri just doesn't work and I think it has something to do with an issue at the Apple servers. RE: siri opening apps
SIRI just has issues now and then which usually clear up. However, is there a reason why you are running one of the first versions of iOS 9 which definitely had several issues which have since been resolved? -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Sarai Bucciarelli Sent: Friday, March 18, 2016 7:12 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: siri opening apps Hi: I have an iPhone 6s running 9.02 and VO. RE: Siri opening apps
This is opposite of the topic thread, but I would like to see IOS modify seri so that you can close apps as well. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Ann Byrne Sent: Thursday, May 02, 2013 6:02 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Siri opening apps I can tell Siri to open most apps without a problem. Open notes works fine. open settings, general, voiceover does what I want. Can Siri take me back to the home page, or open the app switcher? My student has very limited hand movement, and the more words she can use, the better. Thanks. Ann -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group.
