So, to understand this, you have an app for the iPhone and can log into the drive (Google) as you'd normally go to Google and do whatever you want in terms of housekeeping by either method? Hi. Google drive is like DropBox. It's a space in the cloud where you can store stuff like documents and pictures. You at least need to have a google ID. It's been my belief that everyone everywhere snoops. Whether it's Dropbox, Google, or Microsoft or Apple. If you want 100% no snooping, disconnect from your wi-fi and your ethernet port, and don't use data at all. *smile*. C Sarcasm at it's best, but seriously. When it comes to anything cloud based, what sort of guarantee do you have that your stuff isn't snooped on. So, if I will put sensitive stuff on anything cloud-based, if I care about it enough, I use a password protected file. Raul, You are correct although some will have more interest in snooping than others. :) The safest browsing experience is one where your device is powered off, locked in a closet, and you are in another room. :) All you can do is take care in where you put your data and how you protect your data. I know that the setup process can be done with VoiceOver, but I don't have the time or patience to waste on such a stupid and unaccessible setup program. Google doesn't care one bit about accessibility. If they did, I would not have an iPhone. The last report I had on the Android OS was that it hadn't changed much since I switched from it over a year ago in terms of accessibility. Hi, I won't pretend to know if they care or, don't care but, I think who ever told you that last bit is mistaken. although I'm firmly in the Apple camp, its only fair to point out the improvements made to accessibility in Android in 4.0 and now 4.1. It might not be as good as an iPhone but, Google has not been twiddling their thumbs in regards to accessibility the last year. JMO. True, plus there's ChromeVox and the changes Google has made to Google Docs, Google Calendar and so on to make them more accessible. They still have more to do, but it's an absolute falsehood that they don't care at all about accessibility. One of the bullet points I read in the Jelly Bean news yesterday with all the tablet and glasses buzz was that it would have improved accessibility and Braille display support. I guess we'll have to see what exactly improved accessibility means, but Braille display support I am interested by. I currently have an iPad and have been considering getting my sighted wife a tablet and if this new Google tablet will in fact have serious accessibility baked in similarly to how the iOS devices are, then that's probably going to tip the scales.
