RE: deletin pictures from my phone
Hi Walter, Yes, you can of course connect your phone with the Lightning cable or, if it's a 4S, wit the 30-Pin connector cable. However, you cannot delete pictures on your phone from Windows. You can copy them to your computer, but in order to delete them you have to go into the Photos app and delete them from there. Check it out and if you need more help let me know either on the list or off the list. I don't have time this morning to write more about how you can delete, but apart from opening each picture and then using the delete button somewhere on the bottom right you can delete all pictures from a certain moment I think, but I would have to experiment with it again and since I currently don't have many pictures on my phone I would have to take a bunch of pictures first before I can try it out as to how this works. I think you were able to use the action rotor on a particular group of pictures and then just flick down to delete and delete them all at once, but it';s been a while since I did this. I'm using IOS 8.1 and Windows 8.1 and am able to delete the files from the phone using Windows. A setting must be changed on your computer. If not a program which lets yu take ownership of all files and do what you wish to them exists. The name is eluding me though. RE: deletin pictures from my phone
Thanks, John, I'll have to look into this and maybe I'll just try on one of my computers at work which don't even have iTunes installed to see if I can delete pictures on my phone there. I can only be either Windows or iOS which prevents me from doing so, more likely it's Windows.
