I was thinking that too. I did clear everything from memory in the app
switcher. Still had the problem. I think the problem might be with the app
Zellow. I did go in there and noticed that the speaker phone was off. I
clicked it on and everything's good again. I did clear it earlier in the app
switcher though, so not too sure about it yet. Thanks, everyone.

  Hello,

Actually, some apps place the sound output in the earpiece rather than the
iPhone speaker. When running one of these apps and then leaving the app by
pressing home, the command for the iPhone sound to remain in the earpiece
remains active until you do enough tasks that the memory manager closes the app
completely. It is quicker to go in to the app switcher, double-tap and hold on
an app name until you hear VO say editing apps, and then double-tap the app
which has locked your sound in the earphone to remove it from the active memory.

Re: low volume on iphone

2012-07-25 Thread Chuck Dean
 hi Tom,
I agree with David above. Some apps play with the volume. Zello is very
guilty of this.
I would remove all apps from the app switcher and see if the volume comes
up.

You may also want to reboot the phone by turning it off and then back on.
