Kay, I believe I used Vizwiz about a month ago, and it worked fine then. I haven't tried it since though. I'm not sure what is going wrong with yours. You may need to reinstall int. Mine worked right off the bat with my not having to do anything. Even plotting a route was easy to do. I posted the following message sometime back. And, included with the message, is a way to tell if the phone is unlocked using iTunes, as well as a link to a web site article which discusses various methods of telling whether or not a phone is unlocked. So, here is that message I sent, as I found it from checking the list archives: As I had mentioned going to try and do so a while back, I finally got around to getting my ATT 4S unlocked today. And, once I did the restore back to factory defaults, I did indeed get a message on my PC telling me that the iPhone was unlocked. I first got a message on the PC telling me that the restore had completed and to leave my iPhone connected and it would show up in iTunes once the phone had rebooted. And, sure enough, a few seconds after the phone had vibrated from the reboot, a message came up in iTunes telling me congratulations that my phone was unlocked, and I could then press continue to either restore the unit from a backup or setup as a new device. I was quite sure I would have to figure out a way to fax information to ATT regarding the purchase of my phone. But, surprisingly, after going online to their form to request the unlock and entering my phone number and IMEI and first and last name and last four digits of my SSN and pressing the submit button, I right away got two emails, one telling me they had received my request to unlock the phone, and the next one telling me my phone could be unlocked and giving me the necessary instructions. True, grin, that message with the instructions also said to allow 24 hours for the unlock to take place, but I of course didn't wait that long, which is likely why I had to do the restore a second time. As a side note, iTunes had me go to my iPhone and turn off the find my iPhone feature before I could do the factory restore. And, in fact, Apple even sent me an email informing me that find my iPhone had been turned off, and thus couldn't be tracked or wiped. Of course, I turned that feature back on right away after I had restored from my saved backup. To refresh from my prior message of sometime back, I purchased my 4S over two years ago now, paying full price on the first day one could order the phone, as I wanted it but wasn't eligible for an upgrade at the time. I'm now out of contract and just paying my same rates on a month to month basis. Oh, finally, not noticing the congratulations message the first time I did the restore, I did look around a bit online to see if there was a way to tell if a phone was unlocked, and I found the below article, among others. And, for better or worse, I did go to the site mentioned in the article and enter my IMEI and I was then able to sign in with my google account, and thus didn't have to create a facebook account as mentioned in the article. I was then told my phone was unlocked. That's correct but I assume most people would of updated their phone's software. People still using older versions will have to deal with their choice not to update and it isn't up to me to explain it to them. And, finally, with the help of google, I found one actually needed to call ATT to make such changes. How Do the shields Work in the Stem-stumper Game?
Hi, all, I can’t get all three curious carrots in Wonky Weeds Level 7. I think i’m confused about how the shields work. In the tutorial, it says points are decreased for leaving weed-killer and increased for leaving stubborn stumps. The shields seem to time out in a random way. I’ve tried activating all of them, and just using one to get all the fertilizer. what is the object with the shields. This level doesn’t have angry acorns, by the way. Hi Teresa, A shield lets you move through an area of weed killer to get to fertilizer. When you get the fertilizer, the shield is turned off, and the weed killer between you and that fertilizer is removed from the game. So always try to get the fertilizer that is farthest away, because that's how you get rid of the most weed killer. Does that make sense? Also, don't activate multiple shields at once. It makes things more confusing. I'm also not sure whether getting a fertilizer would then deactivate all the shields. If it did, you'd have used them and gotten no benefit. Double tap not workingfor unlocking phone
I think I must have messed up some setting. Using voice over and typically can just double tap on each of the four numbers to unlock phone. Now, phone is evidently seeing each of my taps as entrys and I can’t get my four numbers before getting an incorrect password message. Nor can i. I'm not sure how to play, or what the overall goal of the game is. The tutorial just presents a grid and tells you to spell a word, but it offers no advice on how you are supposed to get those letters in gameplay, what scores what, overall strategy, or anything. I know the devs made sure it is accessible, but maybe they left something out because I have no idea what this game is supposed to do. Hi We're working on an updated to tutorial to make things clearer. A couple of notes though: -Pay attention to the popup at the start of a tutorial level! They have the info on what the tutorial is trying to teach you. In the next version we'll be clearer with the label that's in game. -Letters in each column stack. If there's a letter above another letter in a column you have to move the letter thats on top first. -The game will try to move letters for you. Select the letters in the word you want to make and the game will try to move them close enough to make a word. if the game says Can't Make Word that means the letters can't be moved in a way where you can submit a word. We're working on making a play through of the game and if there's anything else that confuses you about the game please let us know! Hello, if you go to where it says reasons and click on either one of the channels or individuals name. And then you won't lie click on a button that says show details and then click on the button that says history. Then it will bring up all the recent messages that were sent. As far as texting the Zello the only thing that you can do is send alerts to contacts and those do not show up in your reasons I don't believe. I'd be interested in hearing others experiences as well. It was my understanding that the ChromeCast device had to be used via an Android based phone or tablet. Hello, Michelle. If you email the iTunes Store support staff at itunesstoresupp...@apple.com and explain that the app does not work well with VoiceOver, you may well get a rebate to your credit card. I have used this method twice and have been successful both times. If you have read the app's description and discovered it makes no mention of VoiceOver incompatibility, it wouldn' hurt to mention this point. Good luck. Hello, An update has came out, and the tutorial is a lot better and clearer. Once you go through the tutorial, I would recommend playing a practice game with the computer. I was confused at first, but after going through the tutorial and playing a few practice games with the computer, I understand it a lot better. If there's a letter above another letter in a column you have to move the letter thats on top first. -The game will try to move letters for you. Select the letters in the word you want to make and the game will try to move them close enough to make a word. if the game says Can't Make Word that means the letters can't be moved in a way where you can submit a word. We're working on making a play through of the game and if there's anything else that confuses you about the game please let us know!
