Bisecting points to 7bfebad30875b852e1e70bde10dbd12fa3e8a673. Something similar was reported at that time (r70498), but it wasn't reproducible (and was indeed not shown in Wikipedia). I don't see where it is affected, since special pages aren't articles nor use the parser cache. The only difference in the popts on both revisions is mIsPrintable changing from NULL to false, a change which shouldn't matter. Ok, the problem appeared because the this-mTitle-quickUserCan() was never called, instead of being moved below. That block was then removed in r70499. After r92703 (d70ad8c), it wouldn't be possible to show the edit markers, since $popts-mEditSection would always be false. But then r86304 (3a0ed7) replaced $wgOut-parse() with MessageCache-parse(), which didn't have that provision. The bug applies to page histories and user contributions, but does not seem to have any effect on Recent changes. Here is one example: MerlIWBot edits Template:Link GA on wikidata-test-client by adding one interlanguage link. In his contributions and in the page history the edit is stated as being 1370 bytes. Those 1370 bytes are actually the size of the template itself, but not the size of the edit. The RecentChanges state that the edit is 30 bytes, which is much more believable. I think one of those goals might be to select a language but agree another likely purpose is to do search.. so that does need moving up. As suggested ive moved the logo up to the same line as the Wikipedia text to save space. I've also reduced the font-size so that the search appears without scrolling. I've left the project links and various language links at the bottom (although have reduced their font-sizes) as it would be wasteful to hide them in the page in a responsive layout considering the html for them in a responsive layout will be served regardless (and thus contribute to page weight). Our code is GPLv2 or later, allowing licensees to comply with either GPL v2 or v3. So someone who wants to distribute the code (like Fedora) can comply by conforming to the terms of the Apache-compatible GPL v3. This means we don't have to explicitly move to GPL v3 only. Alternately, anyone who wants to comply only with GPL v2 can retain the option of excising the ASL code. My browser is google-chrome-stable 19.0.1084.46-r135956 (from the Ubuntu 11.04 Natty repository). I also tested it with firefox 12.0+build1-0ubuntu0.11.04.1. As I said in the report, this only happens when I'm logged out, so there were no gadgets. In theory, it should only show you that toolbar if: 1. It is enabled on en.wiki (which it isn't) 2. You are logged in and have the patrol right (which you didn't) 3. The page was recently created (which it wasn't) 4. You've visited Special:NewPagesFeed within the past 24 hours Clearly something is wrong here, but I'm not sure what, as I haven't been able to reproduce the problem either. Wiki math format says to put in between elements of a matrix, and this is rendered correctly as png, but in the MathJax script, the are replaced with amp; which is displayed as amp;. Several days ago, I noticed that the Show/Hide button of any section within an article would duplicate itself (i.e Show/Hide/Show/Hide...) indefinitely as that section was opened and closed, with the button itself growing into some sort of monstrosity.I had considered that bug(which has apparently been eradicated with a new version of the software) to be only minimally annoying and even somewhat comical. However, at the same time the Show/Hide button bug appeared, I noticed two other much more annoying bugs. The first is that when I use my Android browser back button (specifically the hooked arrow on the face of the phone), instead of exiting the article and navigating to the previous browser page wikimobile will drag me back through the headings of every single section I had opened in that article. Before what I'm calling the Show/Hide button bug, using the browser back button would simply take me back to the previous browser page which seems to make more sense to me. As it is, depending on the number of sections I have read I might have to hit the back button ten or fifteen times to get back to the previous article. The second, slightly less annoying bug I noticed regarding navigation seems to have begun occuring with the new version. After I've hit back ten or fifteen times in order to get to the previous article, I won't be in the same position in that article as I was before. The only frame of reference I have for calling out these two bugs is my previous experience with wikimobile - a single click meaning returning to the previous article in the same place I had been. Agreed the go button should be styled more like a search icon (but this is also a problem on desktop site in my opinion). I'm not sure about making the globe do something but again if it was to do something it should also do so on the global site. Most mainstream browsers (IE6 included) should be fine with these media queries simply not recognising and thus ignoring them. Certain minority older browsers with broken parsers might apply the rules regardless - but in this situation content *should* still be readable only the user would get a 'mobile view' ( http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/safe-media-queries/ has lots of useful information on this topic). My assumption is that this is due to the fact that we first imported only the most recent version of the articles, and then we changed our mind and imported their full histories, and so basically all the diff sizes use the wrong basis when they were calculated. The rebuildall scrip gets stuck for some reason on the simple.wp import of the elements, but we didn't investigate that further. If this theory is confirmed, this would be a bug for the import or rebuild scripts, and does not have to do anything with the Wikidata extension, and would need to be recategorized.
