Is it wrong to include more than one Q. in a P131
 
where you have an instance of a settlement, village etc. within the city 
limits and that city being within a district oblast etc.
 
and within that village as in P31, are your  Q131596,  Q11451 , 
and  Q10480682, which makes it a  Q570116) as 
well.
 
and in 
that location is also a  Q27603105.
 
is it 
wrong to include all this

As a comparison: Wikipedia has plenty of references, where the referenced work is not published under CC-BY-SA or a compatible license. That is also fine. No, no legal reasons, I really didn't know that datasets are uploaded that seem to not follow the license. I mean, why would you say explicitly "yeah, this dataset I am uploading is under CC0" when it is not? I am surprised about that.

It should be, yes. I just tested this by comparing the latest version from Wikidata to the version that has my rewrite: In my new version it is by far easier to pick up the file name in Chromium.

The new version will (probably) be live on Wikidata from Wednesday evening (UTC) on. Well, then, we have tried several times to get into that diagram, and it
never worked out.

So, given the page you linke, it says:

Contributing to the Diagram

First, make sure that you publish data according to the Linked Data
principles . We interpret
this as:

   - There must be *resolvable http:// (or https://) URIs*.
   - They must resolve, with or without content negotiation, to *RDF data* in
   one of the popular RDF formats (RDFa, RDF/XML, Turtle, N-Triples).
   - The dataset must contain *at least 1000 triples*. (Hence, your FOAF
   file most likely does not qualify.)
   - The dataset must be connected via *RDF links* to a dataset that is
   already in the diagram. This means, either your dataset must use URIs from
   the other dataset, or vice versa. We arbitrarily require at least 50 links.
   - Access of the *entire* dataset must be possible via *RDF crawling*,
   via an *RDF dump*, or via a *SPARQL endpoint*.

The process for adding datasets is still under development, please contact John
P. McCrae  to add a new dataset

Wikidata fulfills all the conditions easily. So, here we go, I am adding
John to this thread - although I know he already knows about this request -
and I am asking officially to enter Wikidata into the LOD diagram.

Let's keep it all open, and see where it goes from here.

I may not be reading it right or misunderstanding something, but I tried
to locate up-to-date working instructions for doing this a few times and
it always ended up going nowhere - the instructions turned out to be out
of date, or new process not working yet, or something else. It would be
very nice and very helpful if you could point out specifically where on
that page are step-by-step instructions which could be followed and
result in resolving this issue?

I don't think anybody thinks that. And I think most of people there
think it would be nice to have Wikidata added to LOD. It sounds like you
know how to do it, could you please share more specific information
about it?

is documented and what is exactly the process and what you mean by
"upload the Wikidata properties as OWL"? More detailed information would
be hugely helpful.

TASK DESCRIPTIONSlotRoleHandler represent a declaration of a slot role. They need to have at least the following methods:


getRoleName()
getContentModel()


The list of available methods is expected to be expanded to cover behavior of individual slots in different situations, like redirection, countability, and HTML output. The interface is similar in scope to ContentHandler.

To provide access to the available slot roles for a given title, a central SlotRoleRegistry service is needed. It exposes the following methods:


getSupportedSlotRoles( $title )
getRequiredSlotRoles( $title )
getSlotRoleHandler( $title, $role )


The lists returned by getSupportedSlotRoles() and getRequiredSlotRoles() only apply to new edits. TASK DESCRIPTIONCurrently, code that needs to purge or update data derived from page content (during purge, import, undeletion, etc) does so by calling WikiPage::doUpdates and/or by running the DataUPdates returned by Content::getSecondaryLinksUpdate directly.

In the context of the new page update interface for MCR, a new concise interface should be exposed for this purpose. This may be a stateless service, or (for reasons of in-situ caching during revision creation) a stateful handle-like object. It should offer methods like:

TASK DESCRIPTIONStatus quo: WikiPage::prepareContentForEdit() provides access to PST-transformed and rendered content for pre-save or post-save processing. It uses a kind of home-brew memoization mechanism to allow callbacks to access this information while a new revision is being saved, without having to re-generate it.

The PreparedEdit object returned by prepareContentForEdit() is not sufficient for multi-content revision handling. Also, several fields exposed by it seem to be unused, or and/or have unclear semantics.

A better mechanism is needed to provide (cached?) access to PST content and rendered ParserOutput each slot, as well as a ParserOutput containing the combined rendering of all slots. Ideally, callbacks would receive a provider object as a parameter which facilitates lazy creation and caching.

A first attempt to cover the described functionality can be found in the DerivedPageDataUpdater class proposed in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/405015/. I am currently running on a Chromebook. Well, wait a second. Not only do the checkers not need the separating snaks… I don’t think they really need the other snak groups (other than the one that the current snak is in) either. So really – do we need to change the return type at all? Can’t we just keep it at returning the current snak group as an array? Wikidata should hold the data of all Wikipedias, that is its main 
purpose. However, it doesn't yet and there are many problems, i.e. 
missing references, population count moved to Commons and an open 
discussion to even throw out Wikidata from the infoboxes:

DBpedia is more about technology than data, so we are trying to help out 
and push Wikidata, so it has all the values of all Wikipedias plus it's

Except that does; and Wikidata is more than capable of holding values
from conflicting sources. So again, this does not substantiate the
"Both Wikidata and DBpedia surely can, and should, coexist because
we'll never be able to host in Wikidata the entirety of the
Wikipedias" claim.
