I have 4 CM9s with uFl to N-Female I can send down. Would rather it be a loan,
Johnny, but don't worry about the 90 days.
If you can use them, let me know where to send them. I can have them on a UPS
truck to leave Centerville IN tomorrow afternoon. How do I need to ship them,
will ground be soon enough, or do you need them faster than that?

Re: [WISPA] Post from JohnnyO, Help NEEDED!

2005-09-25 Thread Scott Reed

I can probably add an RB230 and an RB14.  Same thing, loan, but it can be longer than 90 days.

Wish I could afford to give this stuff to you, but I am still loosing money and the accountant (wife) is not real keen on that.

I will pay the shipping on whatever I send you.

2005-09-25 Thread Scott Reed

I have 4 CM9s with uFl to N-Female I can send down.  Would rather it be a loan, Johnny, but don't worry about the 90 days.
If you can use them, let me know where to send them. I can have them on a UPS truck to leave Centerville IN tomorrow afternoon.  How do I need to ship them, will ground be soon enough, or do you need them faster than that?

RE: [WISPA] rita damage

2005-09-25 Thread Rick Smith

Just heard from Johnny (Mr. O). He's had a lot of cat-5 pulled out of
routerboards, etc up towers.

They're running around tomorrow climbing / assessing / pulling EQ.

I think he's got a main connection, still, but he's not sure for how long...
Water's contaminated, roads are flooded, lots of roofs gone...

More later when I can hook up with him again.

[WISPA] Re: Article in this weeks Telephony Magazine about recovery efforts

2005-09-25 Thread Mac Dearman

You are exactly right Brian - - times are changing and they are looking
brighter for US wireless guys. You can be on the look out for comments
from me on "IF" we had some good spectrum allotted to us like 700MHz the
disaster recovery would be completed in a fraction of the time and cost
-vs- what we are currently doing. I intend to push the 700MHZ and lower
frequencies every opportunity that is afforded me. I look forward to the
fallout from what we have all accomplished in these efforts that are on
going.

It is really all about the "people", but if we can make the FCC see
how much more efficiently and affectively we could be serving everyone
in these devastated areas by a better frequency - - I am all about that too.

Thanks

It seems that everywhere I turn now there are references to your
