Re: [WISPA] I need to monitor bandwidth usage
In.lurking for this discussion, I asked my 19 year old network tech to set up a full Cacti sever for me. At 9 AM I gave him access to an old Dell on the rack with W2003 and to wipe it, load UNIX and Cacti and at 12, he was loading in the first subnet of UBNT equipment. I had bought the recommended book yesterday, read it last night, which made everything start up easily. Looking forward to another monitoring system for shop. Thanks... Only supports certain things Mike. You can't specify custom OIDs to monitor or anything like that, which is why a little over a year ago I was trying to get support from the UBNT community to correctly graph mikrotik and ubiquiti devices. I ended up getting busy with it so I haven't sent the request and cash to Adam, but it should be a couple grand to get everything supported (AirFibers, etc.) Other than that,we have been using it here at SPITwSPOTS for over a year for switches and routers, and I've been using it myself for a little over 2. josh reynolds :: chief information officer spitwspots :: www.spitwspots.com On 12/01/2014 11:59 AM, Mike Hammett wrote: If we're going to start talking about graphing systems, I suggest you all look at Observium.
