I am also facing the same problem.  Downgrading to which version will
solve this problem?
There is the option of web visum in applications.  But log in and log
outoptions  are not functional.  We can't get the solve capcha either.

I have installed the extension for webvisum however it is not able to decode 
the OTC image and says "error code 31" after 30 seconds of calculation .

Please follow the steps as outlined below:
1. Lunch Firefox.
2. Access the application menu bar by pressing Alt key.
3. Find the 'Webvisum' sub menu under the 'tools' menu, and press the
up/down arrow or enter key to expand its options.
4. Then select 'preferences' from the available choices and press enter to
trigger the Webvisum preference dialog box.
Note: the shortcut key to bring up the Webvisum preferences dialog box is
Control + f2. However, my intent of providing the step by step explanation
to activate this dialog box was to make you familiar with the manual
procedure so that you can access the same if you have a key conflict.
5. Once the dialog box appears, use the arrow keys to choose 'general' from
the list box (this is the first item in the list box).
6. Press the tab key to navigate to the "Automatic login on start up" check
box, and use space bar to uncheck the same.
7. Click on 'OK' button to save the changes and dismiss the dialog box.

version 8 but, finally revert back to 3.8. in version 8, virtual pc cursore

hello sir  first install mozela firefax 3.5 in your system then open
your webvism account then go to download section there you will get
something like online installation press enter on it then your webvism
installation will begine. make sure that you are using webvism and
mozela with jaws11 because jaws11 is compatable or you can use NVDA
also. how to use: whenever while creating new account  on any website
when captcha will display on your screen there simply you  press
application and click on coppey then by tab key find edit box where

Hello,
I would like to know about the webvisum  add-on of firefox. Since
couple of months, I was using this add-on successfully. Very recently,
after getting formatted my computer I have again installed the firefox
version 3.5 and downloaded the webvisum and tried to log in with my
old account. But to my surprise, after inserting the log in details in
firefox/tools menu/add-on/webvisum preferences/general tab and
pressing space bar on option button in this tab page, despite giving
my log in details as used by me earlier I could not get the message
“you are loged  in to webvisum ok button” on restarting the firefox.

I was getting this loged in message earlier but now I am unable to log
in to webvisum. So could anyone suggest me any trouble shooting
procedure for my problem as mentioned above.
Also please do let me know as to:
1 Am I right in following the steps to get the log in to webvisum?
2 do I need to follow any additional steps to log in to webvisum as
per any current changes made to webvisum by developer of this add-on?

To register in Vebvisum you must have the invitation from the vebvism,
for that in the registration page there will be link for invitation,
once if you press enter on that link or button (I am not so sure) you
will be taken to the one web page.
There you have to give some information about your visual impairment,
and the request should be indicative that you are going to use
Vebvisum for the noncomercial and due vision impairment only.  You
will get an invitation to your provided e-mail ID within 48 hours.
Then you can register as other forms.

Webvisum is an add on for firefox for solving the captcha.
Captchas are those images used on the various pages wherein we are required 
to type the shown letters and unfortunately the letters shown on the screen 
are not red by the Jaws since they are in image form.
So by installing this add-on you can solve those inaccessible captchas 
without anyone's assistance.

To register in Vebvisum you must have the invitation from the vebvism,
for that in the registration page there will be link for invitation,
once if you press enter on that link or button (I am not so sure) you
will be taken to the one web page.
There you have to give some information about your visual impairment,
and the request should be indicative that you are going to use
Vebvisum for the noncomercial and due vision impairment only.  You
will get an invitation to your provided e-mail ID within 48 hours.
Then you can register as other forms.

that, you need to register with webvisum and to register, you need to 
request an invitation. Please  make a request for invitation at

Please note that webvisum works only with firefox and the add on can only be 
downloaded and installed when browsing through firefox.

Hi, you should know what you want to do with Webvisum. It has multiple
functionality. In other words, you should know what you downloaded
Webvisum for. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to understand how to
help.
Have you registered to their website? if yes, use your username and
password to login to webvisum, look at the help by pressing ctrl+1 and
see if you can find out something...

I think it's more of a problem with such Indian sites rather than
webvisum. There might even sime standard for CAPTCHA too. If it's problem
of webvisum, it shoun't work for global sites either.

Respected madam:

In the sign up page, press Control + F2 and L. now you will be
notified that you are logged into Webvisom. Now press application key,
then press down arrow till you reach solve captcha and press enter on
it and you are done. Alt + Control + 6 is the short cut key for solve
captcha option.
