Hi
Using select * from nodes shows how much information that was sent/received
last session. You could probably do a better select statement, but this is
the output.
NODE_NAME: ATEST

What you are interested in is if there is any data bound to the management
classes and which nodes have used them. That has to come from a different
table that is very large and can take a while to give you the answer. I
will see if I can come up with something.

The query below is giving me the data about the management classes defined
in the domains with a retention over 5 yrs. This information is right. But
it need not necessarily mean that if an MC is defined in a domain its being
used by a node.
I think i am confusing people here. I shall try to put
Hi
You have DRM scripts running to do this, so you will have to stop theese

Change your Hi Lo migration threshold (up the 60% on the hi) or throw more disk at

Shouldn't TSM manage that sort of thing on it's own?

Hi,
after UNLOADDB/LOADDB the size of our db changed from 7.1
GB to 4.8GB.
Performance is much better now: EXPIRE INVENTORY changed from 35K
entries/hour
to 105K entries/hour.
Cache hit rate went up to about 98%.
Our db was 15 months old. I think a reorg after a version upgrade is a good
thing.

I'd go the easy route (thinner too) and just write a script to send out new
dsm.opt/dsm.sys files to your clients. And then have another script that recycles
your central scheduler service. If you
want to start getting silly, you can also have a script that retrieves copies of your

I have no clue; but one difference in running dsmc as yourself and via the

What happens if you run the scheduler under your own account?

TDP for Informix is just a XBSA interface between Informix On-Bar and
Tivoli Storage Manager.
So if for you fragmented means tables are in more than one dbspace then you
can backup only some dbspaces. It is up to you (or your DBA).
But be aware that you will not be able to perform cold restore of
