Re: Not getting same result for Campaign Negative Keywords Report in web interface as in API.

2016-06-03 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hello Kim,

You could try adding predicates to your query for the report. For example,
selecting only those campaigns whose status are ENABLED. You can further
filter the records by excluding zero impressions

 and
adjusting your dateRanges

.

If you still face any issues then provide me *privately* the report
request, clientCustomerId and screenshot from the AdWords product side
showing the data. Just click *Reply privately to author *in the forum when
responding.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Re: Copy complete product partition?

2016-06-09 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sophie,

Temporary ids are used initially when creating a ProductPartition
,

the API then assigns real ids to replace the temporary ids and reflects
them in the response. More details regarding partitioning in this link
.
Additionally, you can refer to this example

 in
adding/creating ProductPartition trees. You can specify a different
adGroupId if you wish to recreate the structure for another adGroup.
Examples for other languages could be found here
.

I hope this helps and please let us know if you still encounter any issues.

Yes, once your manager account's developer token is approved whether it is
basic or standard access level, you will have the ability to read/write on
all your customer accounts using the AdWords API. However, if the purpose
is to provide read-only access to a third party, you will first need to link

Re: ServingStatus on CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_COLUMNS only showing the "eligible" campaign

2016-06-17 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

You could try adding ServingStatus to get the 'eligible', 'paused' or
'limited by budget' campaigns and AdNetworkType1 to differentiate whether
the campaign is for the SEARCH or DISPLAY networks. You may also use
AdNetworkType1 field as a filter to eliminate the duplicate records. Your
query could look a little something like the one below :

String query = "SELECT CampaignId, CampaignName, Clicks,
CampaignStatus, ServingStatus, AdNetworkType1 "
+ "FROM CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT "
+ "WHERE AdNetworkType1 IN [SEARCH] ";

I hope this helps.

Re: [Function] Permanently Deleting Sitelinks

2016-06-20 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Doug,

The proper way to delete a FeedItem is to pass it in a REMOVE operation to
FeedItemService.mutate

 and
although BatchJobService supports FeedItem operations
,

it does not support the REMOVE operator
.

So unfortunately, you will need to delete the siteLinks using only
FeedItemService and will have to keep in mind the limits
 of each
operation.

Peter

Re: How long till I get a developer's token

2016-06-20 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hello Nhat,

After applying for a developer token, an email containing the follow up
application form

 will
then be sent to the email address you specified in the AdWords API Center.
You will then need to fill out this form and resubmit. AdWords will then
get back to you after 2 business days. You may then follow the succeeding
steps in the link to complete your setup.

I hope this helps.

Re: Primary key within Shop Performance Report

2016-06-26 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

Although there is no available documentation that is specific for shopping
performance report, you may, however, use implicit segmentation

 to
get your intended records by adding a filter such as OfferId, if you wish
to relate your records at the product level. You may also add fields such
as MerchantId, CampaignId, and StoreId to further segment your report.

I hope this helps and please let us know if you still face any issues.

2016-05-16 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

This error occurs when the report is generating a huge amount of data.
Apart from setting the includeZeroImpressions to false, you might also add
a predicate such as only ENABLED campaigns to trim the results further.

If you still encounter this error, could you provide which specific
campaign ids this occurs and also your customer id and the report
definition (report query)? Please also use *reply privately to author*.

Re: SelectorError.INVALID_PREDICATE_FIELD_NAME on 'Status' while filtering campaign using CampaignService.

2016-05-06 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hello,

You could use Campaign.status

 field
to filter the campaigns using the CampaignService
.

Please check out below Java code to create the selector to filter the
campaign using status field.

SelectorBuilder builder = new SelectorBuilder();
Selector selector = builder
.fields(CampaignField.Id, CampaignField.Name,CampaignField.Status)
.orderAscBy(CampaignField.Name)
.in(CampaignField.Status, "ENABLED", "PAUSED", "REMOVED")
.offset(offset)
.limit(PAGE_SIZE)
.build();

Please check out GetCampaigns

, GetAdGroups

 and GetTextAds

 Java
example code from the client library. Other languages example code could be
found here .

Re: First API Call sample return DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error

2016-07-25 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Stefano,

Good day! The type of company you indicate does not cause the error. As
mentioned earlier, the DEVELOPER_

TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED

error is caused when you are making calls to a production account when
your developer token still has test account only access. The manager ID and
client ID you provided in your previous reply are both production accounts
and thus, any calls made to those accounts using your current developer
token would result in the specified error. Also, the "*Access level Test
Accounts*" that you see in the AdWords API Center is an indicator that your
production manager account's developer token is not yet approved.

Additionally, test accounts when viewed in the AdWords web interface has a
red label indicating that it is a test account and test manager accounts do
not have the AdWords API Center view . In order to utilize your developer
token while it is still not approved, you will need to create a test
manager account using this form
. You
may also follow this guide

 for
test accounts for more information.

If you have already created the test account, could you kindly send it to
me so I can verify? Please send your reply once again using *Reply
privately to author*. Thank you.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: START_INDEX_IS_TOO_HIGH error

2016-07-26 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Unfortunately, you can only retrieve information from the AdGroupService at
the client account level. For the START_INDEX_IS_TOO_HIGH error, I could
suggest that you first issue a CampaignService.get

to retrieve all the campaigns with ENABLED status. You could then iterate
and issue an AdGroupService.get

to get all adGroups associated for each campaignId. You may also refer to
this link

 for
the other filterable fields that you could use for AdGroupService.

If you are doing the same and still encounter the issue, please send me the
complete SOAP request and response using *Reply privately to author* with
the clientCustomerId being used and the code snippet to further investigate
the case.

Hi Sachin,

Unfortunately the 'DayOfWeek' field is not filterable. You may refer once
again in this link

 and
check the 'Filterable' column for the fields you could use as a predicate.
Additionally you would need to remove "*$selector->predicates[] = new

'CampaignStatus' is not supported in the CampaignCriterionService.

Re: First API Call sample return DEVELOPER_TOKEN_NOT_APPROVED error

2016-07-25 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Stefano,

The error

 is
caused because you were trying to make calls to a production account using
an unapproved token (test account access only). I have checked the client
ID you provided and have seen that it is a production client account and
that your developer token also currently has test account only access. If
you wish to use the API using a test account, you will need to fill up this
test
account application form
 and
once done, you may use the customer ID of that test account as the value
for the *customerClientId* property of your ads.properties file and make
calls in the API using a test account.

Once your developer token gets approved, that is when you may be able to
make API calls using your production client ID. I hope this had been
helpful and please let me know if you still face any issues.

Thanks,
Peter

Apologies for the delayed response. The error you are encountering is due

uncomment this line " //$selector2->fields = array('feedId', 'feedType');".
Additionally, you may refer to this link

Re: KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT returns duplicate keywords

2016-08-01 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Although the keyword might appear to have other characters in the AdWords
UI, the AdWords API removes the special characters of the keyword when it
is returned from the AdWords API. Apart from the Keywords Performance
Report, you may also try the GetKeywords

 example
(samples in other languages also available in the link) to fetch keywords
based on your AdGroup. It will, however, return the keywords without the
special characters, the same as it does in the reports.

Re: api version 201605

2016-07-31 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Zia,

Please see below my answers :

1. The report service (arbitrary report types) seems to time out more
frequently than v201601. We have a retry logic in place, where these
errors are retried and they eventually succeed.

*One possible cause of the timeouts would be that you are processing
extremely large reports as discussed here in our guide
.
If the issues persist, could you provide your complete report definition
and any logs produced when you ran the report?*

2. The new batch job service, seems to work fine, however on getting the
results, given a job id it returns a null value for the downUrl property,
again this happened in only a handful number of batches, say just 3 out of
1000.

*The downloadUrl is expected to be null while the batch job is still
processing, or is canceled. However, if the issue occured outside of those
conditions, could you provide your complete SOAP request and response so we
can investigate further? Also, I would recommend that you reply
using Reply privately to author if you will send any of the information
that I have requested from you.*

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Re: GetRefreshToken --> "OAuth client was not found"

2016-08-01 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Could you confirm if you are having the issue when running the
GetRefreshToken example code or by using a different service of the AdWords
API? Also, you might want to try the following steps :

1. When running the GetRefreshToken example, a redirect url will be shown
in the console.
2. You will then need to paste it into your browser and a code will be
generated after.
3. Paste that code back into your console in the part where it says "*Type
the code you received here: *", you can then use the generated code as your
refreshToken in your AdWords config file.

I hope this helps. If the issue perists, please retrace your OAuth 2.0
setup and make sure to follow correctly the steps mentioned in this guide
.

Re: Set defferent bidModifier for different time slot

2016-07-25 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Sachin,

My apologies for the delayed response. The
CriterionError.AD_SCHEDULE_TIME_INTERVALS_OVERLAP
error typically happens when you are adding the time interval of an
AdSchedule which overlaps with another AdSchedule. You could use the
CampaignCriterionService.get

 to
get a list of campaign criteria along with their AdSchedule

 through
the Selector

 to
check and adjust the values you will put on the interval on the results as
to avoid overlapping.

The RangeError.TOO_LOW
 error
is caused by not specifying an ID in the call so you will need to make sure
that the criterion IDs are being passed. Additionally, the startHour

 and endHour

 fields
are ignored when using the SET operator, so in order to change the
AdSchedule, you will first need to use the REMOVE operator using the ID

 field
then the ADD operator with the updated values. Furthermore, you may refer
to the discussion here for a more detailed guide
 as
to how to change/modify the time your ads are showing and also for more
information regarding Ad Scheduling.

Peter

Re: Problems setting up Adwords API with python ... please help

2016-07-17 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

You are getting this error

 because
you are making calls to a production account using a developer token with
test account only access. If you wish only to make calls with your test
accounts, please make sure to specify the customer ID of your test account
(test manager account or test client account) in the client_customer_id
field in your googleads.yaml file, instead of your production (master)
manager account.

Additionally, to check your account access, you may login to AdWords and go
to the Gear Icon -> Account Settings -> AdWords API Center, then check the
'Access level'.

I hope this helps!

Re: How to use google adword api?

2016-07-18 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

In order to use the AdWords API you will first need to sign up for an
AdWords account. Please see our step by step guide
 for the sign
up process. Once you finish the guide, you can start making api calls
 by
creating
a test account

, downloading the client libraries

 for
the language you prefer and setting up the credentials
.

Once your developer token has been approved, you may then be able to make
calls using not just your test accounts but also your production accounts.

I hope this helps and should you encounter any issues, please let us know.

Thanks,

Re: Targeting Service - Rate limit

2016-07-08 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ian,

Thanks for the added information. Yes, I confirm that the MCC account in
the screenshot has standard access. However, I was referring to the MCC in
which the client account mentioned in your SOAP logs is linked to (Kindly
go Account Settings > Account Access of the client account). This MCC
account is the one with the rejected access and also the one that appears
to be managing your client account.

I also looked into the MCC account with the standard access and I could
not see the client account that you are using in the list of accounts being
managed by that MCC. Kindly make sure that the developer token and OAuth 2
credentials that you are using are that of the manager account in your
screenshot. Additionally, I recommend that you link your client account to
the MCC with the standard access through this guide
 and use the
credentials of that MCC to manage your client account in order to avoid
getting the RateExceedError.

Also, I am unable to email you privately as I am receiving an error when I
do. I am posting here in the forum instead and that is why I am unable to
disclose the customer ids of the accounts I am referring to. If it is still
unclear, please reply using *Reply privately to author* and include a
separate email that I can use to contact you with.

Re: Retrieving all data for last year from CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

2016-07-07 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I tested your AWQL query using my own test account and found that your
query should work fine in getting the (test account) results. In addition,
you will need to specify a file path in the $reportUtils in order for you
to be able to download the file into a CSV (or other format
)

output file.

Please also note that report generation is supported only at the account
level, meaning, the clientCustomerId specified in your auth.ini

 file
should be that of a client account instead of a manager account. You could
check our reporting guide
 for more
information and also check here

 for
a more concrete example of generating a report (including the option on how
to suppress the headers) using PHP.

I hope this helps.

Re: Targeting Service - Rate limit

2016-07-07 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ian,

The rate limits for the AdWords API Services depends primarily on the access
level

granted
to the user's developer token. For basic access, the operational limit is
at 10,000 operations per day for all services and about 1,000 report
downloads per day. You can refer to our rate sheet
 for the cost per
operation when using the API. You may also refer to this link

 on
methods on how to mitigate rate limit issues. Another recommendation would
be to upgrade your access level to standard access

to
execute unlimited operations per day by filling up this form
.

If the issue persists, could you provide your SOAP request and response?
Also, please do so using *Reply privately to author*.

Re: Deduction of 26k from our Adword Account

2016-07-11 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

Could you confirm if all your campaigns have been set to PAUSED? If the
campaigns have not been paused, then charges will still be made for those
campaigns. However, if in case your campaigns have been paused or removed,
and still the amount was deducted, you may reach out to AdWords Help Center
 as the issue is
not within the scope of this forum.

I hope this helps and please let us know if you still face any issues.

Best regards,
Peter

Re: Keywords Performance Report hourly and how do I capture all the contents

2016-07-07 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Arnab,

Unfortunately hourly reporting is not supported in the AdWords API. Also, since
some data fields only update once a day
, I do not think it will
be necessary to run a report for each account every hour. Additionally, the
dateRange options we see here

are
the only ones currently supported.

In your query, you may remove the field '*CriteriaType*' since it is not
available in the Keywords Perfromance report. You may refer here

 for
the supported fields. Also as an example, in the documentation, it is
stated which fields are incompatible with who (e.g. the field *AverageCpc*

 is
not compatible with the *ConversionCategoryName*, *ConversionTrackerId* and
*ConversionTypeName* fields).

I hope this helps.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Re: Targeting Service - Rate limit

2016-07-07 Thread 'Peter Oliquino' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Ian,

Thanks for the information. I could see that your account is linked to a
single manager account, however, upon checking the MCC account through
Account Setttings > AdWords API Center, it seems that the account's access
has been rejected. Please see our Required Minimum Functionality
 and you may
also write to the Compliance Team
to see if you meet the
requirements and then reapply.

I hope this helps, and in the event that the new standard access has been
approved for the MCCs developer token and the issue still persists, please
let us know.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Re: Get domain of Adwords Account

Hi Maurice,

Unfortunately, there is no URL field supported for the CustomerService

 since
there is currently no way of associating a customer account with a domain.
