It wouldn't surprise me, since they banned vented gas cans (they can only sell the kind that vents through the spout now, which typically seem to take about three hours to empty of 5 gallon can...), but I don't see how it could work without having some kind of a vent. Maybe they replaced the

The B.E.R.G. extended run tank kit includes a red plastic marine tank with a vented cap - you turn a button on the cap to let air in to replace the gas that is drawn into the generator fuel tank by vacuum. At least it used to come with vented cap. Has anyone bought on of these recently?
