you can modify it to make the lines dynamic.
Substitute "add dynamic=yes timeout=7d list=blacklist address="
for "add list=blacklist address="
For this to work though, you need to have your own Linux box making the
files

It’s mostly a good neighbor thing but I also benefit from it indirectly.
I benefit in that the more my site is used the more my online reputation is
improved and that indirectly drives consulting business my way. I expect that
it is a true win/win.
So your instinct to expect a selfish motive
