Does anyone know the pinout for the PoE on Engenius radios? Specifically
ENS200EXT? I'm trying to swap one of these for a NS2L for a customer's

I thought they were 802.3af/48v?

The spec sheet says proprietary 24v.

I could have sworn they shipped with the tan blocks with 48v PSU. The spec
sheet also says active ethernet which would be 48v.

It says this in the spec sheet:
- Active Ethernet (Power over Ethernet)
- Proprietary PoE design
- Power Adapter 24V / 0.6A
Sounds like 24v to me, but I guess they could just be bad at drawing up
spec sheets. I'll see if I can get a multimeter out there and find out for
sure.
On Mon, May 9,
Active Ethernet/POE would be 802.3af/at - that's 48v
Passive can be whatever, it simply puts the voltage on the wires all the
time (like Ubnt or MT stuff).

Gotcha, the spec sheet is just badly drawn up. I'm not sure why they would
spec a 24v power adapter if it also uses 48v. Why not just use 48v across
the board? If the power supply in the damn pool equipment is 48v this
obviously isn't going to work.

Could be as versatile as some other products that do 24-48v and both
polarities =)

Yeah, could be. They should probably just say 24v-48v on the spec sheet
though :)

Like...none of the spec sheets do that. The only one that I can think of
is Epmp - that's only because they want to attract people swapping from
Ubnt or FSK radios.

Any good suggestions for basic tower insurance (liability)? My local
provider does not have a lot of options for underwriters in that category.
Is there anything new on the market in the last 2 years or so that speaks
SNMP over IP and Ethernet?
Specifically I'm trying to figure out how to integrate OpenNMS and Cacti
with OIDs for integer values like charging amperage, input current from PV,
current battery string voltage, etc.

Travelers does ours but I wouldn't classify them as really good. If
liability only maybe that would be covered under your umbrella if you
listed the address and equipment and type of asset.

We use Morningstar tri-star controllers. They have a web interface and
snmp support via an Ethernet connection. You can also hook up to the
serial port a packetflux module designed for the Morningstar controllers.

What version got snmp queries? As far as I know they just kick out

How are you retrieving the data from the morningstar to feed into the
program? http interface?
I'm fine with using curl, sed, regex in a shell script to graph arbitrary
data from things that present more information via a non-SNMP interface...
Been doing that for a while with external sources
Nah, pulling it from the box with a modbus library... scraping the http
interface was a non-starter...

We wire our solar controllers through the Tycon TPDIN. We graph voltages and
current for the DC bus, batteries and solar panels separately in both the Dude
