Brian,
The support board part number indicates that it was used in a model HP 5328A or
B counter. I find that some versions of that model used a 05328-60027 board.
Maybe you misread the part number?
Anyway, There are a number of complete manuals for the 5328A & B counters on
the web,
The SimpleAnalyzer does not “fold” these to the same value. If the text has a
mix of upper and lower Greek, it uses latin to_upper to convert, which won’t.
For JSword, we pick an analyzer based upon the text’s script/language.

PocketSword uses externally created indexes which need to be downloaded to
work. It uses the SWORD library for creation and for searching.

I think that the osis manual gives a suggested mechanism for two v11ns in the

The requirement is not that the search is normalized to nfc but rather that it
is normalized the same as the index. This should not be a front end issue.
Btw it doesn’t matter how Hebrew is stored in the module. Indexing should
normalize it to a form that is internal to the engine.

In the KJV, these are IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. I think that we are both marking
it semantically and having the text as given. I think this is correct.
I can see about rendering it differently. In the printed copy of the KJV, the

Couple of things to try:
Don’t compress. The resulting data file is then readable. If the module is
complete, then compression has the problem.
Use -d 2 to add verse marks. Makes an uncompressed module’s data file more
meaningful.

I’ve seen the error before. I’ve even tried to debug osis2mod to find it. To no

I think a combination of Perl and xslt would work well. Perl to create chapter
containers and grab chapter and verse numbers. Perhaps change titles to
something else to distinguish them from verses.
Then it’d have semantic markup. Converting to another would be straight
forward.

Assuming that SWORD (or JSword) handles search properly, the only advantage of
canonical over decomposed in the module itself is space.

Wiki has not been turned off. We had too many bogus account sign ups, so it is
now a semi-manual process. The page should request you to identify yourself and
your interest in maintaining the wiki. Then David H or I will approve you. I’m
looking how to add you manually.

We are in the process of moving it. When I renew the cert I’ll be adding
wiki.crosswire.org <http://wiki.crosswire.org/> to it.

reports against the manual and the schema. We’ve a custom schema that addresses
many of the bugs and a few feature requests. These are all documented in the
wiki.
You’re not a pest :)

I think the ESV2011 was created by Tyndale. The Strong’s numbers and morphology
came from the KJV.

It’s there, but hidden. Find desktop.properties (location varies by OS) and set
it in there.

Not really. The osis2mod process is lossy (no verse markers) and transformative
(it is in milestoned form). For that reason, we really don’t recommend it.
Also, many OSIS modules are built from non-OSIS source.
mod2imp expects the module to be installed. Beyond that I’m not sure.
mod2osis
to suggest a different
markup. The problem with a milestone is that it marks the “between” but not the
segment.
The incompletely supported markup for SWORD is text or
text.
Not sure how it should be indexed. At least by whole word. Perhaps also by
segment?

. As a fork, it handles things a bit
differently than BibleDesktop. For example, it does morph segmentation, but BD
does not.
SWORD has a filter for each toggle that modifies the input (e.g. OSIS, ThML)
that the render filters get.

Just glanced at the render filters for OSIS. They don't look for the it at all.

From my phone. Brief. Weird autocorrections.

The module matches what the filter expects.
The filter does something.
Third possibility: front end doesn’t handle the attribute.

Have any modules been released with CC? Chris added these licenses as
“supported.” I don’t see the point in updating the list to support what isn’t
reality. When we negotiate new content that has a particular license, we should
update it then.
