[all-audio] Netflix still not accessible from my LG Smart Tv!
What a disappointment! My LG Smart Tv (it's a 43-inch model 2019 UM7100) and just updated, and Netflix is still not accessible from the TV itself! How much longer would we have to wait? It's been nearly a year and a half, and still have to use Netflix via the phone? which I don't mind, but why then, is Amazon Prime accessible from the TV? I use Anchor; it has music to choose from, and it's free. Once on there, it does the necessary steps for your podcast to be on other platforms (Spotify, Apple, Overcast, Google, and others). I’ve been using for several years, Virtual Recorder, however with Windows10 when I play back the recordings, it skips all over the place! [all-audio] LG Smart TV with AirPlay capability?
I’ve a 2019 43-inch Lg accessible Smart TV; I’d like to use the TV with AirPlay to play TuneIn Radio and other apps that natively you can’t cast With. The one I’ve been using several monts and loving it, is Grabadora de voz HD - audio de Linfei Ltd. https://apps.apple.com/mx/app/grabadora-de-voz-hd-audio/id492995106 however I kind of not like very much that yu need to get the markers depending on the length of the file editing, in order to start selecting chunks An app like GoldWave on the computer, where when listening to a file, be able to place the markers and edit rom these, would b great on iOs! For starters, voice recorder is awesome! I like it tons better than audioMemos! [all-audio] Such a frustrating experience trying to get myself a Talking Smart TV here in Mexico!
It’s such a frustrating experience here in Mexico,to get myself an accessible Smart TV! The store folks just don’t understand what I’m looking for! They want to sell me TVs with Google Assistants, or they say that I’d need to buy another control that’d allow me to use the voice feature? I was wondering if any of you guys with accessible Smart TVs have uploaded a Youtube video explaining and demoing the TV, form how to set it up, and what it should do to make it accessible? I’m on the ookout for an LG model if this helps some. If I had some sort of a Youtube video, I could show the store people, to first make it talk in the store, just to be sure that I’ll get no surprises upon my arriving home with the new TV! Here in Mexico there’s no thing as refunds; if you buy something, you’re out of luck! The way I’m explaning to the store people is by showing them my iPHone in that while I swipe my finger, the icons are read; on the TV as you move with the remote, a voice tells you what icons you’re passing, allowing you to interact. Thanks for any more tips you guys might have, or as mentioned before, if any of yu guys have recorded a podcast, or Youtube video showing your LG accesible Smart TV I could use in this endeavor? I’m hoping I’ll be able to find one here in Mexico that talks! If not... And the price range for these what’ll it be? I’d like to spend between $20USD up to maybe $50USD on such a recorder, if I might be able to find one with speech interface at this price? [all-audio] Equivalent function in GoldWave as with MP3Gain?
Using MP3Gain for years to help raise the volume on certain MP3 files and folders, but I don’t know if it’s because of windows10 that when using the before-mentioned program, when a file is being worked on, a message pops on about where to save the log file to, which never happened before on Windows7 and below! I’m using a portable version of MP3Gain if it helps any; yu know how on the page, there’s a portable and instalable version; I was never able to install the version onto my Windows10 64Byte, thus decided to stick with the portable one. I was gifted in its time, a GoldWave license, thus I’d like to take full advantage of all waht GoldWave can offer, in which you can work as with MP3Gain, to raise and lower the volume of files, but I’ve not been able to figure out exactly what function within GoldWave’s Volume does the same task as with MP3Gain! What I only want is for the volume to be raised throughout the file, but what it seems to do (be the Automatic Gain and other related funcionts) to raise the volume to certain sounds or areas of the files being workd on! thanks for any tips. Re: [all-audio] Play This?
Ok when you’ve installed Play this, you have to be on the MP3 file wanting to play, or files. Afterwards you go to th the Context menu, and from Send to, you should see an option called Play this, in which you press Enter. Ocasionally though, you’ll see a message about dnating etc., which you just press enter and itll go away, letting you use the the program as I’ll describe below: OK so the file starts playing; Control+p for pause; Control+s for Stop; space to pause too I almost forgot. F8 and f9 lowers and raises the volume. Alt+f4 so that lay this can remember you left off. Hope this helps some. Where to download? RE: [all-audio] panning in Winamp
Where can Idownload Winamp forWindows10 if it’s OK to ask on here? Thanks for info, and for the tips you guys are mentioning about panning etc. Enviado desde Correo para Windows 10 De: Aman Singer Enviado: lunes, 5 de noviembre de 2018 06:54 a. m. Para: all-audio@groups.io Asunto: Re: [all-audio] panning in Winamp Hi Geoff, If I may ask, are you using either Jaws or NVDA? If you are using Jaws, press alt+ctrl+k while in Winamp. This should centre your sound. If you are using NVDA with the Winamp extender add-on, press shift+up arrow, again, while you are in Winamp. This should centre the sound. If you are using neither, in the Winamp main window, press ctrl+tab to switch windows until you hear "winamp equalizer". If, after pressing ctrl+tab 5 times, you don't hear Equalizer, press alt+g to open the equalizer, then press ctrl+tab until you do hear equalizer. Now that you are in the equalizer, use your left and right arrows to centre the sound. As you press left, the sound will pan left, and right will pan the sound right. If you have opened the equalizer, it may be worth closing it with another press of alt+g. I hope that's of use. Wow Thanks especially for the Audacity Email list! So more of you guys use Audacity tan GoldWave? I’ve been using Goldwave for so long that I just can’t get the hang of the philosophy behind Audacity’s way of doing stuff! So hopefully I?ll lern bunches on the Email list. Para: all-audio@groups.io Asunto: Re: [all-audio] ointers on starting with Audacity, or MP3 Direct Cut? Hi Gerardo, I'll give you an outline of how to do the task you gave, and also details of the Audacity4Blind mailing list. You want some audio, audio2, to start about 18 seconds after the start of some other audio, audio1. After opening Audacity: 1. On the File menu, open the import sub menu, and Choose audio (ctrl+shift+I). A dialog opens and you can choose Audio1. This becomes the first track. 2. You then need to position the cursor at about 18 seconds. One way of doing this is to press spacebar to start playback, and then press the letter X when you get to that point. Playback stops and the cursor is positioned at that point. 3. Import the second file, in a similar manner to step 1. This becomes the second track. 4. To move the start of the second track to the cursor position, track 2 should be selected, and track 1 should not be selected. Following the steps above, this should in fact be the case, but for future reference you can change whether a track is selected by pressing enter. 5. Open the tracks menu, open the align tracks sub menu, and choose Start to cursor/selection start. This causes the start of the audio in the selected track to be aligned with the cursor. 6. Press home to move the cursor to the start of the audio. Press spacebar to play, and hopefully you'll hear what you're wanting to hear. There's an Audacity4Blind mailing list, and you can subscribe on this page: https://www.freelists.org/list/audacity4blind On this web page you can subscribe to the mailing list: type your mail address into to the “your email address” edit box; then Tab to and check the check box to indicate that you aren't a robot; and finally Tab to the Next button and press it. You will receive an email to confirm your subscription. In that email, open the link to confirm your email address. A web page opens in which you have to agree to various terms. There three check boxes which have to be checked, and finally a Next button to press. David. If you want to go straight to the top then the Bowers And Wilkins T7 - even after 2 years - is still the one to beat, it’s a true portable Hi-Fi Bluetooth speaker.
