In the case of Windows its a bit of a problem as Windows can’t tell whether
you’re using Battery or power.

Hi Tom,
VLC may be in a portable folder if you installed it there. It may
also be in a folder inside C:\Program Files (x86). If I may ask, BTW, do you
use NVDA with NVDA

Hi,
If I may ask, why not shift+f10 on the video, select and enter on
"open with", then select and enter on "choose default program", then select
VLC and check the box that says "always open this file type with this
program"? This will open all mp4 files with VLC in future. If you only
life etc.

I believe that Google have come a long way with Android to the point where its
certainly good enough for use with the general public.
Yes like everything else there are a few issues but they’re usability more than
accessibility and there are workarounds.

Hi,
I realize this is perilously close to heresy, but I detest touch
screens and sympathise with any desire for physical buttons. If I may ask,
though, why not use a Bluetooth remote which has such buttons? See, just for

Hi Dane,
There are quite a few HDMI to RCA cables available, in my
experience, just search Amazon for HDMI RCA if you're in a country with
Amazon or Google/Ebay if you're not. I haven't used any, I generally use an
HDMI to VGA/3.5 adapter, which allows me to get two channel RCA audio if I
Hi,
I have several of these. In no case have I needed to plug a monitor
into the device. It just acts like a soundcard, to set it up on Windows, go
to the playback devices, either through right-clicking the volume control in
the system tray and clicking "playback devices" or through the

Hi,
I would make two suggestions, if I may. First, can you plug a VGA
screen in? If so, does it work? Secondly, when you connect the device to the
computer, do you hear the hardware found sound? Further, when you connect
the device to the TV Box, does anything happen in terms of sound? If
Hi,
My experience with stereo mix/what you hear has been hit and miss. Some
drivers have it, some don't, and I have read of companies removing it on later
drivers on the ground that people might use it to record copy-protected
content. It's worth checking and worth, also, making sure
Hi Dane and all,
I have read that using the Chrom or Chromium browser to cast the prime
video to the Chromcast is possible if you don't want to buy an Amazon device. I
can't speak from experience, though, I don't use prime video. It may be worth
giving it a shot if you want to stick

Hi,
I've been looking for a decent way of recording Skype, and other more
standard VOIP applications, on the iPhone. If the app, like Skype, doesn't have

hardware? I know what you say below, Mr. Wright, is

Hi Geoff,
If I may ask, are you using either Jaws or NVDA? If you are using
Jaws, press alt+ctrl+k while in Winamp. This should centre your sound. If
you are using NVDA with the Winamp extender add-on, press shift+up arrow,
again, while you are in Winamp. This should centre the sound. If

Two questions, if I may ask them. First, are you sure that your new
laptop has no line-in? Many laptops have a single jack which, like
of this for $20 which I think is very good value.
As for charging cables/ Well again Apple have plenty of these to suit most
needs.
