Hi,
I realise this is not really an amavis issue, but I thought someone on
this list might have fought the battle with amavis-stats and rhel4
already.
Has anyone gotten amavis-stats.0.1.21 to run on a RHEL4, and if so, could
you tell me how.
My other option is to use awstats. Does anyone
Hi!
I have 2 problems:
a) A lot of mails going through doesn't get X-Spam* headers even if I
set sa_tag_level_deflt to a negative number. And in many cases it
doesn't change subject if the spam level is between sa_tag2_level_deflt

My opinion is no, don't do this. Spam and viruses commonly have forged
sender addresses, so your offsite warning will often just annoy some

I fully agree. I still have some procmail rules
Hi,
I just found out what the problem was. I never realised that it is a
seperate package (i.e. php-gd) which needs to be installed. I just had gd

Jus,
I'll be more specific:
If you don't ALTER the quarantine.mail_text to bytea then PostgreSQL
will complain when amavisd 2.4.4 tries to store a message to a SQL
quarantine.
You would be getting an error like:
TROUBLE in check_mail: quar+notif FAILED: temporarily unable to quarantine:

I'll try that out. If the box runs out of RAM I'll simply buy some more.
Those old DIMMs are not very expensive anymore.
If the machine architecture will allow it, you really need to.
