What I think that Google is not allowing published apps:
- Published apps are more mature as they are live apps.
- Published apps are coded way before so they have more set of
features.
- They want the apps for DC2 be built with in a

was found among developers.

preliminary rules, the contest is for an "application", not an
"activity". So if you can put all components in 1 APK file (all
activities, services, etc.) and run it from one icon on the home
screen, then call it an application and g
