Any command on the wiki that refers to apt-get is Linux specific and won't
work for Mac. The usual conversion is to use "port" instead of "apt-get"
and see if MacPorts has a suitable package.
However, OS X with XCode already has JDK and ant, as far as I know - you

I got the same problem running Debian. I dowloaded the source from
Oracle and built it according to the instructions. Beware not to
install the 64-bit version on a 32-bit system, but the other way around

I want to install Apertium-dixtools in my mac, but when I type "sudo
apt-get install ant sun-java6-jdk" in the terminal
to install Ant and JDK I get "command not found". Is it because the command
for mac is a different one?
I'm in the channel, but it seems that there's nobody there.
